Slaves are those that can be sold and bought and change masters.

No we are not slaves of God, we are creatures of God, we are ossession of God. Everything is possession of God, but nothing can e bought or sold to God.

We are serfs of God, in the sense that we are born serfs of God and we can never stop from being that, willingly or unwillingly and so we will die.

The question is that the words in ?rabic of the Qur'an seem to be translated according to the preferences of translators, and some of them choose to translate on an off 3abd as slave. As far as I can ascertain the only word which really means slave in the qur'an is raqab, who indeed cam be sold and bought.

But we know how fond are some translators and interpreters of pretending that there are sexual slaves and other niceties.

    Salaam

      Peace,

Yes you did. It is not in the first place exclusive to humans but it refers to the entire creation

      Quran 1993
Not all who (are) in the heavens and the earth but (will) come (to) the Most Gracious (as) a slave.

Look your favorite double negative. Is it a coincidence?
      http//corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=19&verse=93#(199310)

Finding verses you are looking for comes easier if Quran is studied appropriately.
I always try to share the methodology and tools but few listen

      I am aware of 1993,
Not all who (are) in the heavens and the earth but (will) come (to) the Most Gracious (as) a slave.
when 'not' and 'but' are removed is the same as
] all who (are) in the heavens and the earth ] (will) come (to) the Most Gracious (as) a slave.

In the above note the word 'come ' which meant it could refer to only to those who come to after being created.

All who come to after birth but those who did not submit as abadan could come to Allah as kuffar.

Therefore 1993 do not imply all were created as slave .

I believe the statement 'all are slaves of Allah' is a very intuitive inference but do not have an objective representation in the Quran.
Maybe there are other verse or a combination of verses which I missed out?

        Peace Nonetheless.
The word "slave" I question a lot! What do we mean by "slaves"?

Allah does not say one thing and does another. i.e contradict Himself !Qoran encourages the freeing of slaves.
I would put it that "Humans are subjects of Allah" . His creation,we belong to Allah and return to Allah. But we have the choice of submitting or otherwise, hence we are not slaves of Allah. On the other hand a slave of someone has not got the free choice .
One may argue that the choice is limited, Nonetheless one has the choice to serve Allah or not.
        My understanding.
        GOD bless you.
        Peace.

Huruf No we are not slaves of God, we are creatures of God, we are ossession of God. Everything is possession of God, but nothing can e bought or sold to God.

The terms related to ABD, abadan, etc. are used widely within the Quran in various contexts.
I believe as long as we understand the context, it is not an issue.

Of course, the issue is not 3bad, but what it is translated into. For those who do not use arabic that is most important and then what is translated into is indeed the issue.

          Salaam

slave is a worldy word for worldy people...

when people used it for God its a methphor more than literal... due to the nature of obidience we have for our creator...

i think if we use the word... subject or creation thats sounds more fit...

if i created a toy .. toy is my creation(tehleeq) more than slave...

              If I change my OP to;

"All humans are created as 'abd' of Allah"

Note Allah used the term 'abd' or plural ibad, abid.
Is there any verse that support the above meaning?

Every creation serves a purpose. operative word serve.

Whats the purpose? ie serving the purpose of creation.
If we look around us, everything is serving its purpose, nothing is created without purpose.
Thus, what is the purpose of creating mankind?

If mankind's creation is to suit the purpose of a 'khalifah', one who acts on behalf of a sovereign.
Who is the sovereign? the One who creates mankind.

How to act on behalf of the Sovereign?

Everyone has roles to play and self development into roles that mirrors the Sovereign's. The roles can be big or small, with wealth and power(ie born a king or elected leader) the roles becomes big otherwise seemingly small like a man and a woman, husband and wife etc.

In short, to me it is serving the purpose rather than being a slave.

There are no particular verses you have missed it is the logic that is missing.
The word come implies the return of all beings to the Originator.
Did the kuffar originate themselves? Have they no Lord, Master? Obviously not.
To God return ALL the matters nonetheless

Whether obedient or not a servant is still a servant and owns no means of resources unless his master releases. Think it through a bit more clearly.

Honestly speaking brother, there are too many examples in Quran for you to be torn about whether all humans are slaves of Allah. The fact that each prophet calls Allah my Lord and your Lord while addressing even the most obstinate of the tyrants in their cities and among their people is sufficiently indicative. However an example which I hope strikes your intuition is Isa on The Day of The Meeting.

Isa responds to Allah on Day of Judgement in regards to those who associated him besides Allah by saying

                  5118
"If You punish them, then indeed they (are) Your slaves, and if You forgive them then indeed You, You (are) the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

Also I think you might have been thinking of 2218
Which states that many ppl prostrate sujud but on many the punishment is justified

                  2218
Do not you see that Allah - prostrates to Him whoever (is) in the heavens and whoever (is) in the earth, and the sun and the moon and the stars and the mountains, and the trees and the moving creatures and many of the people? But many - (is) justly due on him the punishment. And whoever Allah humiliates then not for him any bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills

Might have confused the fact that many people and not all sujud with concept of all people being slaves

EVERYTHING is a slave to Allah
Everyone belongs to Him and that is the reason He can exact punishment while it being Absolutely Just

                    Peace

'Abd means servant more or less and we are commanded to serve God in the Quran, I don't recall anything in the Quran referring to what you asked, however Quran gives examples of serving god and also serving others such as prophets, angels, jinns, desires.

Serving God is a choice, however everything in the heavens and the earth both glorifies god and also yields to him willingly or by compulsion, of course don't take my word for it but rather research the Quran, the tools available are a blessing and we are only disadvantaging ourselves by not using them

                    Peace

                      Slave is a bit self-derogatory.

But it is true we have limited control over the world. Diseases will haunt us even if we have a will against them. We do not decide when we die although we can often prolong it by treating the body well.

But the world we know is a corrupting environment and meant to defeat its inhabitants.

Yet I have difficulty considering myself a victim that the term slave would imply. And I know I can be valued by God if I prove myself worthy and sharp. God can do whatever God wills with my body, but my spirit seed is my own and I am in control of it. But perhaps it will remain until the wiping out of the world and I am terminated with it, if I would fail. Because I am submitted to be bound to this bodily realm I am also vulnerable and have to obey its laws which laws are relieved if I had no body.

                      Be well
                      Qarael Amenuel
