What do you think is the difference between religion and organized religion?
I think religion is individualist spritiuality. sun
Organized religion is a collectivist political system - a.k.a the opiate of masses. ''We are absolutely better than anyone else''. group
Though, I think even other, non-religious ideas can make the same result. Marxism vs. Leninism (organized atheism) or New Atheist group. hmm
In other words, anything that politics touches, will be turned into a tool to brainwash people. o

Marx's idea when it was uttered by Karl Marx, that is his personal religion..
Thus religion in this case is a synonym for idea, view, opinion, belief.Once Marx's idea adopted by many people, and they started to organize themselves and build institution to uphold it.
Then it became an 'organized religion'...The same thing goes for Jesus, Muhammad, Siddharta, Moses, Pharaoh and many other in history...
I tend to dive into the root cause of the issue...
Which is "DOGMATISM".. an idea which cannot be questioned for it's validity or invalidity..
The way to enforce the dogma is through the use of authority inciting FEAR among the populace...Incited by FEAR, human tends to accept and follow anything... bypassing his/her own logic and conscience...
You must sacrifice your child to the gods, otherwise the gods will be angry and rain shall not come for a long time...
You must obey the pharaoh, as he is the son of the God who will judge you during judgement day.. if you disobey the Pharaoh.. Osiris will torture you for all eternity after you die..
You must not stand as witness to the murder, otherwise the Godfather shall be angry and murder your wife and your family...
You must agree to everything that is being said in this book, as this book was written by God.. otherwise God will be angry with you and torture you for all eternity after you die..
etc.. etc.. etc..The same tactics used by Politicians / Crime Organization to instill obedience in the society...
All 'religious' people always think that they have an 'enemy' that they must eliminate through any means.. otherwise they will be eliminated by the 'enemy' (Fear of survivability ) let it be Communist, Bourgeoisie, Goyim, Kufr, Pagans, The West, The Muslim, Chinese, Atheist, Russians, Immigrant, Mexicans etc..
PS Today's North Korea is a perfect modern example of how dogma enforced by fear resulted in total obedience of society..

The first thing to appreciate when it comes to "islam" is that it is a descriptive word, not a name/title. It describes an attribute many can have, i.e. more inclusive than exclusive.
