    Hello

I had this discussion about 8 months ago with a 24 years old young American who was attacking Islam on forums, we debated for a couple of months then with the help of Allah he reverted to Islam, this is a question he asked me after he reverted

    salaam ahmed..
    thanks for ur input brother..
i am reading quran when i get the time to ahmed in between my preparation .
it is unfortunate that there are any mistranslations whatsoever if at all even one or two.. it should not have been overlooked..
but i understand ur point ... the verse is solely to warn the prophet that he cannot add anything to the holy message of the quran... and if so.. he will lose his power and life..

    anyway..
i also wanted to ask you ahmed..
but when u get the time.
    please elaborately explain me something..
many people tell me i have to follow the hadith and sunnah as closely as i should the quran.. and that i should not neglect the hadith and sunnah..
and they stress on the importance of the hadith and the sunnah at the same level as the quran.
can u give me an answer or response that i can give such people..
that this is not true.. and that the quran is solely THE REPRESENTATION of islam /// where as the hadith is a personal choice.. and not mandatory.
and definitely comes secondary to the quran..

because they refer to the hadith and sunnah as holy and sacred.. that which i do not believe it is right to do so..
only God and quran (His holy message ) should be given most importance and holy attention..

thanks for your time ahmed. and pray for my exam please.
i believe it will help me
    ur brother al.

Dear brother, I will give you an answer that you print out and show it to them to shut them up for good, Islam is based 100% on the Quran, however there are some compulsory practises that was explained in great details by the great prophet, and this is what all Muslims should follow him in, the main one is how we pray to Allah

anyone has to admit that accepting the Quran which was delivered by Mohammad whom we did not see at all is nothing but following this man, we believed him in saying he was a prophet, we believed him in saying the arch angel taught him the Quran, but why we believed so?, because we have the Quran in our hands, but then when Mohammad was alive the people who believed in him believed everything he said then, you have to agree that the prophet hadith narrated by many sources can not be 100% authenticated or confirmed that it was a true say by Mohammad, in fact there are books that exposes the fabricated hadiths and there are hundreds of them, I know a lot myself.

How can these sects say that these hadiths ?with all that level of corruption? is as holy as the Quran?, well, they are sure wrong, the Arabic language used in the hadith anyway is very weak, hard to understand, and full of grammar errors, on the other hand there are many hadith that are straight forward, easy to understand and has a religious/moral objective to it, and this is what Muslims should believe but again as a total personal choice, IN NO WAY AS THE QURAN, in fact considering the hadith as holy as the Quran should be major sin, I will prove this without any doubt later on, but I would like to stress that I?m not a hadith rejector, but only what my mind tells me that this hadith may be said by a great man like Mohammad, this never reach or should reach the belief I have for the Quran, simply because this is what Allah told us to do regarding the Quran, we can not consider a human word is as holy as a God word.

Sure Allah has told us to follow the prophet and listen to his sayings, but first we have to prove that it was said by him, we just can not take it for granted, you can see from the Quran verse warning Mohammad NOT to invent anything in the Quran, also the Quran delivered by Mohammad is intact for 1425 years, we also can understand that because humans keep changing his previous messages ?HE GUARDED THE QURAN FROM THE HUMAN CORRUPTION? as stated by Him

What guarantees we have to assure us that the prophet hadith is not corrupt?, well we have more evidences that it is corrupt than it is not corrupt , how dare those ignorant Muslims describe a possibly corrupt human words as almost equivalent as Allah?s words?

Well let?s see first what the Quran said about its ease to understand, we will see how it says that there is nothing like Allah?s words

?And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember then is there any that will receive admonition??

    (17)

-> in this sura, the Quran repeated this sentence 4 times in verses 17,22,32,40, that Allah has indeed made the Quran easy to be remembered,? And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to remember?, then He is reminding us ? then is there any that will receive admonition?, obviously 4 times mentioning this information highlight the importance of this verse.

?Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed.?

    (5

-> Another verse that confirms Allah has made the Quran easy on Mohammad tongue? Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in thy tongue,? so the prophet will deliver the Quran to ? , in order that they may give heed.?, so we can understand that the Quran was the only method used by the prophet to deliver Allah message.

?So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.?

    (97)

-> Same message in this verse regarding the prophet learning and understanding the Quran ? So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue?, then the prophet will use the Quran to ? that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.,

?For We had certainly sent unto them a Book, based on knowledge, which We explained in detail,- a guide and a mercy to all who believe.?

    (52)

-> In this verse it is clear that Allah sent us the Quran, as well Allah explained it in detail because it is the guide and mercy to all believers? For We had certainly sent unto them a Book, based on knowledge, which We explained in detail,- a guide and a mercy to all who believe.?, clear as light that Allah explained his book within itself , i.e. the Quran explains itself.

?Then what HADITH, after the Quran, will they believe in??

    (50)

-> This is an important verse, as it shows that Allah is asking what other HADITH other than the Quran will make people believe?, sure NONE, including the hadith of prophet Mohammad, the Arabic word used to describe the Quran was ?HADITH? the same word we use for the prophet saying, because the Arabic word ?HADITH? means ?TALK?, so we have 2 different hadiths

    A) Hadith by Allah ?The Quran?
    B) Hadith by Mohammad ?The Prophet Sayings?

Well it is very easy to find the major differences between them

    A) Is by Allah ?A God?, reserved by Allah ?A God? and never been changed
    B) Is by Mohammad ?A Human?, never been reserved accurately, and many fabricated ones by the enemy of Islam been injected into it.

It is very easy to see which hadith of the above is Holy and which is NOT.

?Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,-?

    (159)

-> In here we can see that Allah is warning the people who conceal ?hide? the guidance after He made this guidance clear in the Quran? Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,? and the punishment is ? on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,?, it is clear that Allah is telling us that the guidance is made clear in the Quran. ? after We have made it clear for the people in the Book?

?And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy?

    (155)

-> Allah is telling us in this verse that the Quran is a blessing and WE MUST FOLLOW IT? And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing so follow it and be righteous?, and for the people who will follow it ? that ye may receive mercy?

(2)?A Book revealed unto thee,- So let thy heart be oppressed no more by any difficulty on that account,- that with it thou mightest warn (the erring) and teach the Believers). ?

(3)? Follow (O men!) the revelation given unto you from your Lord, and follow not, as protectors, other than Him. Little it is ye remember of admonition.?

    (2)
    (3)

-> In these 2 verses we have a clear message from Allah that He sent the Quran hence the prophet should not be shy to warn the people using it TO WARN AND TEACH THE BELIEVERS ? Book revealed unto thee,- So let thy heart be oppressed no more by any difficulty on that account,- that with it thou mightest warn (the erring) and teach the Believers).? this is very important note, because the Quran is what the prophet should have used to teach and warn THE BELIVERS , then Allah is telling us to follow the Quran and NEVER TAKE ANY ONE ?WHATSOEVER? AS A PROTECTOR OTHER THAN ALLAH? Follow (O men!) the revelation given unto you from your Lord, and follow not, as protectors, other than Him.? however most humans? Little it is ye remember of admonition.?, a very strong message to use the Quran as the major source of belief.

?A. L. R. (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things)?

    (1)

-> We have seen how the Quran was stressed in a couple of verses as the major source of belief and guidance, we knew also that Allah made it easy to remember as well He explained it within itself, in this verse we see that Allah is also saying ? (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things)?, ie, the Quran has verses basic or fundamental ?established meaning? and yet Allah further explained it in details, well if you read the Quran a lot you will see that miracle in how the verses relate to each others and NEVER conflict despite the additional info they add to each other to bring a complete story, many things are repeated numerous times using different Arabic words with the same exact meanings.

?A. L. R. These are the verses of Revelation,- of a Qur'an that makes things clear.?

    (1)

-> A short verse to tell us that the Quran makes things clear? These are the verses of Revelation,- of a Qur'an that makes things clear.?

?Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest.?

    (1)

-> Same is confirmed here, ?These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest.?, but please have a look at the last 2 verses and compare the Arabic words by shape, you will see the first 4 words are the same ? ?, however the last word was different, the first one was ? ? in 151 and was translated ?Clear?, the second one was ? ? in 121 and was translated ?Manifest? which also means ?Clear?, however the first word should be ?the book that is WISE or full of wisdom?, and the second should be ?the book that makes things CLEAR?, and this is just a small error in the translation, we have to investigate every single word in the Quran, that is what Allah has told us to do with the Quran.

?Alif Lam Ra. (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you that you may bring forth men, by their Lord's permission from utter darkness into light-- to the way of the Mighty, the Praised One,?

    (1)

-> This verse also shows us the objective of the Quran as the main tool for the prophet to bring the people out of darkness into light? (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you that you may bring forth men, by their Lord's permission from utter darkness into light?, and what is the light? It is ?to the way of the Mighty, the Praised One?, ie. the Quran is the main and most important source to know the way to Allah the Mighty and the Praised One.

?And We sent down the Book to thee for the express purpose, that thou shouldst make clear to them those things in which they differ, and that it should be a guide and a mercy to those who believe.?

    (64)

-> This verse tells us that the Quran was revealed so people can resolve things in which they differ ? And We sent down the Book to thee for the express purpose, that thou shouldst make clear to them those things in which they differ,?, as well its purpose ? and that it should be a guide and a mercy to those who believe.?, another strong message that highlight the importance of the Quran by Allah ?The Quran Author?, however we can also read that the prophet mission was not just to deliver the Quran but to explain ? ? a few things that we may differ, a very string argument against the hadth rejectors, you see it is very easy to use the Quran to qualify any hadith because we know that the prophet should deliever then use it to promote guidance then explain a few things in it that we may differ

?We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you will ye not then understand??

    (10)

-> A straight forward verse ? We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you?, but look how the verse is ending with wonder ? will ye not then understand??, it is like come on, please understand

?Surely they who recite the Book of Allah and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them secretly and openly, hope for a gain which will not perish.?

    (29)

-> We can see here that Allah is describing the belief in Him as we are tradesman who want to trade and end up with profit, so those tradesmen need to do the following to really profit NUMBER 1 ? recite the Book of Allah? , NUMBER 2 ? keep up prayer? NUMBER 3 ? spend out of what We have given them secretly and openly? ie. they give money to the poor, and this tradesmen are hoping ? hope for a gain which will not perish.?, but can you see that reading the Quran was NUMBER 1?

?Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our Servants as We have chosen but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who follow a middle course; and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds; that is the highest Grace.?

    (32)

-> This verse is very important man, it divides the believers into 3 groups in the judgment day, but I will not discuss this with you now however I would love to discuss this verse in great details, the main important point I want to mention here is the people who never saw Mohammad, ONLY INHERTITED the Quran ? Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our Servants as We have chosen?.

?I swear By the Book that makes things clear;?

    (2)

-> A small verse that Allah is swearing with the Quran than makes things clear ?I swear By the Book that makes things clear;?, please note that the verse can also be understood that ?I swear by the Clear book?, as it means it is clear to recognise that the Quran is from God.

?Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong)???

    ..... (185)

-> In this verse ?a popular one in the Quran?, Allah is telling us that He revealed the Quran in the month of Ramadan ? Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an,?, and why Allah sent the Quran down ? as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong)?, very clear verse stressing the importance of the Quran.

?Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.?

    (82)

-> This is the verse that Starjade is obsessed with, I brought it here, because it tells us a very important note, it tells us that if this Quran was done by any other one other than Allah, we would have find it full of corruptions, ? Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.?, this really means that any other book or hadith can be highly corrupt if Allah is not the Author of it.

?When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace that ye may receive Mercy.?

    (204)

-> In here, Allah is advising us that when the Quran is read we should listen WITH ATTENTION as well hold our peace, ? When the Qur'an is read, listen to it with attention, and hold your peace?, why?, because ? that ye may receive Mercy.?

?We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an.?

    (87)

-> In this small verse Allah is telling Mohammad that He has given him THE GREAT QURAN ? We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an.?

?Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable), and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness, that they shall have a magnificent reward;?

    (9)

-> Here we see that knowing the Quran very well will lead to ? Verily this Qur'an doth guide to that which is most right (or stable) and giveth the Glad Tidings to the Believers who work deeds of righteousness?, and if we comply ? that they shall have a magnificent reward;?

?We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition, but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)!?

    (41)

-> This verse confirms again that Allah explained the Quran? ?We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition,?, however for the wicked humans? but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)!?.

?And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should understand the Qur'an, and deafness into their ears when thou dost commemorate thy Lord and Him alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs, fleeing (from the Truth).?

    (46)

-> For the wicked , deaf and blind humans, this is why they will never understand the Quran and they will keep detesting it until they die then they will have the SHOCKER, but hey no return my friend, they have to take it as men or women and be patient with the punishment if they can, let?s see why they will never understand it? And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should understand the Qur'an, and deafness into their ears?, and these wicked people when they hear Allah alone mentioned in his book ? when thou dost commemorate thy Lord and Him alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs, fleeing (from the Truth).?

?And We have explained to man, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude yet the greater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude!?

    (89)

-> We see here a new information about the Quran, that Allah explained every kind of similitude that we need in our life to prosper? And We have explained to man, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude?, and the blind people still ? yet the greater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude!?, the verse says clearly that the majority of people will reject the Quran, well we can see this clearly, can?t we?

?We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude but man is, in most things, contentious.?

    (54)

-> The above fact was confirmed here again, that Allah ? We have explained in detail in this Qur'an, for the benefit of mankind, every kind of similitude?, but again ? but man is, in most things, contentious.?, well, I have met many of these men on many web sites.

?Then the Messenger will say "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense."

    (30)

-> This is a very good verse, Allah is telling us that the prophet in the judgment day will tell Allah that the BELIEVERS ?The Prophet People? has ignored the Quran, ?Then the Messenger will say "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense.?, well what a strong message from the prophet regarding the Quran can it be stronger than this?, did the verse ever mentioned the prophet hadith?, of corse not, because it can be corrupted UNLIKE THE QURAN.

?We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss.?

    (82)

-> We can see here that the Quran will heal the rue believes and is a mercy to them ? We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe? but for the wicked ? to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss.?, what a difference man.

?And to recite the Qur'an and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls, and if any stray, say "I am only a Warner"

    (92)

-> Allah is telling Mohammad here to use the Quran to guide the people and whoever will believe in it will do it for their own soul?s good ? And to recite the Qur'an and if any accept guidance, they do it for the good of their own souls?, but if we do not listen then all the prophet has to say that he is only a warner ?and if any stray, say ?I am only a Warner??, NO COMPULSION IN ISLAM.

?verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities."

    (5

-> This is a very good verse my friend, because it is a similitude to something we see a lot on LU, as you know every time I show the Quran detesters a miracle in it, they say I?m talking rubbish, let?s see this in the verse that it started with Allah telling us that we will find every kind of Parable in the Quran ?verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, ?Ye do nothing but talk vanities.??, can you see this bit ? But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, ?Ye do nothing but talk vanities.??, exactly as we see on LU and many web sites, this is funny brother

?I swear by the Quran full of wisdom?

    (2)

-> Again, Allah is swearing by the Quran that is full of wisdom ? I swear by the Quran full of wisdom?

?We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition.?

    (27)

-> And again ?have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition.?

(17)?It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it?
(1 ?But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated)?
    (19) ?Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear)?

    (17)
    (1
    (19)

-> These 3 small verses are telling us clearly that Allah is in charge regarding, collecting and promulgating the Quran, ?It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it? then He advice us again that when the quran is read we should follow it, ?But when We have promulgated it, follow thou its recital (as promulgated) ? and finally Allah is also in charge in explaining it ? Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear)?

    Thanks for reading

    Peace be with you

              Hello agentxxx and mquran

I think I made a lil mistake in my long post, I said Allah told us not to take anyone whatsoever as a protector, and this is wrong because the believers are protectors to each other however Allah should always be the ultimate protector

              peace

                A few questions...

                Follow what prophet?

The Koran was "delivered by Mohammad"...? Where does the koran mention this...?

"Intact for 1425 years"...? Show us a 1425 year old Koran.

Thanks AB. I hope the brother learn more about Islam. I have witness someone converted to Islam is a Wahabi mosque where they included the Hadith and Sunnah in the Shadah, after the Prophet! Can you imagine that? Its sick!
