    Alssalmu'alaykum wa ramatullahi wa barakatuh

I do know 415,16; 780,81; 1177-83; 2174; 26165,166; 2754-57 and 2928,29 and their traditional meanings or interpretations, though I'd like to know the difference (if you've found any) of their meanings or interpretations judging purely by Logic and the Qur'n itself, as the traditional ones have turned out illogical

So far, throughout the 383 usages of qawm and its variations I've not found any other meaning than "people" (and derivations), rather than just "a group of males", so if it is Lut's people in general (boys, girls, male adults, female adults, male elders and female elders, etc breaking it down to just males and females) when saying "you approach men in lust/rage instead of women" thus forbidding males from having sex with other males and encouraging them to do it with females but at the same time forbiding females from having sex with males and encouraging them to do it with other females. This is absolutely nonsense, therefore there is ought to be a different meaning or interpretation that is not contradicted.

Moreover, it says that no one had ever done such an abominable thing, which sounds too unlikely, as science suggests homosexuality (between other animals) would be much older (perhaps by millions of years) than Lut's people, again this meaning or interpretation would be "a mistake from Allh", hence I'm missing something here as of course Allh is perfect and doesn't err.

I hope you can help me settle these doubts on finding the true meanings or interpretations (that are perfect and uncontradicted). Jazk Allhu Khayrn in advance.

But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."782

It seems being impure became their culture.

I have no idea, but "lust" in 781 can't be "lust" because you find the same root in 21102, 3454, 4131, etc. So if shawatan means "lust", then God aproves and gives as reward in Heaven what is of "transgressing people" on dunya

Also look at 1657 and 3454 and 314, sexual connotations have no place there. There is no sexual implication anywhere and suddenly in 781 they are clear ? hmm

I have come to the conclusion that in this as in other questions the Qur'an has been highjacked by bilbical contamination.

The bible speaks of Sodoma and Gomorrah and Lot was there, therefore whatever the Qur'an says refer to the same as the Sodoma y Gomorra chapter of the Bible. Ni need to speculate or research or question any more.

Also, if it was sexual what was handled in Lut's affair with his people, then offering his daughters to the group that came to him asking for his guests, is shocking. Of course he was sure they would never accept, so there was norisk, but still.

As to the expression "no one had ever done such an abominable thing" is not to be taken literally. Those mentions of al 3alameen in different formulations and circumstances ar common in the Qur'an to high light or put more in the spot something. In this case to say that they were out of bounds.

The thing is that mentions "fahisha", and fahisha does point to indecency, so I think that there is a sexual comonent but there is a whole societal, as reel points out, breakdown as to social morality and gender related behaviour.

When i read these things, ancient greek society at a certain time comes to mind. Friendship was glorious between man and man, women were segregated and also undervalued and underconsidered, homsexuality was rampant between males becausen simly women were not liked, not in sexual terms but in social terms. You would not spend time with a woman, except to procreate, when in fact you can be all the time amongst males... That and the conscription of guests (Lut's guests) for their male gangs gives a vision of a sick society.

By the way, I have come to conclude that certain muslim societies where women are avoided publicly at all costs, and men should never mix with them or them with men, in fact match this desease of Lut's people. When in a society there is no fluent interaction between its members be it on account of gender or whatever the societyis not sane. That is where in order to "put women in their place" they resort to pointing out things like tht their asses are a distraction and that kind of thing.

Summing up wild sex seems to me was just one of the components of Lut's people impurity and debauchery.

            Salaam

By far one of the best findings in the Quran that I have ever seen regarding that word. Jazaka Allahu Khayran.

Interesting, considering I find these "findings" rubbish.

And before you or Aries respond by asking why, please point out all the flaws in the "findings" first, so I can see how much thought has been put into it.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Your refutation of hadith contains GOD s argument in Qoran.
Thank you for collecting it in one document.
All the credit and praise goes to GOD Alone for His best arguments. Who can argue with what GOD is saying that the only source of salvation/authority are His words.
                  Thank you
                  GOD bless you.

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh

I have updated the English version of "Islam, straight from Quran", I will keep on adding chapters stating all beliefs and practices according to the Quran alone, so I would appreciate if you could keep track of it as I work on, I will announce here whenever I add to it. I am currently working on the spanish translation of this new edition. I will appreciate all feedback, either positive and negative, supporting my views or refuting them.
