What would be enough proof for you?

On the other hand do you have any proof that the Qur'an we have is not the one handed by Muhammad?

What is the importance of it being Muhammad or whoever if this is the one God revelaed, or if it is not?

What makes it important for us? That it was handed through a certain person or its contents?

      Salaam

You can research some of the oldest dated Quran scripts here
        http//www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Text/Mss/

And the recent discussions on manuscripts, discussed on this forum
        https//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9607061.0
        http//www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/impact/original/quran-manuscript.aspx

The evidence is pretty solid, but you will find letter and word differences here and there. Again, this has been discussed on the forum before.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

In my opinion, the main thing is whether it is from God. You will know it if you start following its guidance. You should be able to get results God already speaks about in the Book.

I would ask everyone to be little cautious about historical stuffs. Birmingham Qur'an manuscript might have been the oldest, but not the last. Another one might get discovered tomorrow only to change the narratives. The people we call scholars can do gullible things. As an example, take a look at this

Writes the philosopher Susan Neiman in 2008

Socrates was the first to insist that we should rise above whatever particular mire happens to grip us, in order to seek something better and truer. He was thereby the first to introduce moral concepts backed by no authority but our own ability to reason.

Can you see the problem above? If you ask her what her proof is for using the word "first" she will probably say that she could not find any book in which same thing is mentioned by another much older than Socrates. That does not prove a thing because we don't know the entire history of the humans. Also many of the things Socrates said about one God seems to be the same stuffs messengers preached before and after him. But of course, one can stay blind to it by insisting that only what is studied in college classes is the right and valid stuff.

That is right, the monopoly on learning or rather on knowing. You are prohibited from knowing nything, unless somebody in some university allows you to and feeds you the stuff.

              Talk about scholars.

              Salaam
