Salamun alaykum siblings of Mankind Recently i was checking my facebook groups and stumble upon a debate between a muslim (quran only) and atheist ex muslim. Now this man says that there is a contradiction between 3145 & 532

    He posted this

One of the major contradiction in Quran

    Quran Surah 532

Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely..

And it is not for one to die except by permission of Allah at a decree determined Quran Surah 3145

I checked the verses and i fail to see the contradiction. I even checked the verses and its seems he did not bring the full verses

    Here is the full verses

3145 It is not permitted for a soul to die except by the permission of God in an appointed record. And whoever wants the reward of this world We give him of it, and whoever wants the reward of the Hereafter, We give him of it. And We will reward the thankful.

532 It is because of this that We have decreed for the Children of Israel, "Anyone who kills a person who has not committed murder, or who has not committed mischief in the land; then it is as if he has killed all the people! Whoever spares a life, then it is as if he has given life to all the people." Our messengers had come to them with clarification, but many of them are, after this, still transgressing on the earth.

In the Quran The Lord of the worlds (SWT) told us in 482 Do they not reflect on the Quran? If it were from any other than God they would have found many contradictions in it.

If someone could help me out this one i would very grateful. group

First let me warn you that exmuslims, just like sunnis and shias prefer to stick to words of the occultists, Zoroastrians and every other person who has trouble believing that Quran is from God without the secondary sources. In fact, exmuslims are much closer to wahabbis even when they practice atheism.

532 talks about "instruction" given to humans.
3145 is talking about God's own laws.

He may tell us not to kill (532), but we will still die (3145). Men have no hand in age related illnesses. That's the part of natural law coming right from him.

I checked the verses and i fail to see the contradiction.

Right, I hope you see that you are correct.
But you won't be able to discuss this with any exmuslim since any talk would make him

      • run

      • insist that Trump people are 100% right and you are deceiving

      • start a drama to make it look like you are assaulting him and then tell you that you are reported

In 532 it basically says thou shall not kill, except for certain occasions such as war. In 3145 it says the soul is not permitted to die without permission of God. But if one commits murder (532) then this person is going against the law of God, because he is taking a life from someone without permission.

So in simple summary Die by natural causes A Divine natural law by Allah/God (SWT), Murdering people Evil crime against divine rules of The Lord of the Worlds.

We have the right to sin and people break the laws of God, which yes, includes murder of innocent people (people that do not threaten your life themselves, i.e. murder outside of self-protection).

You referring to free will? Then that make sense. At least to me.

I personally have the problem with a term "free will". We are born against our will (at least from what we can remember, as we cannot remmber our past before we were born), and we will leave this world also against our will. We do countless of things against our will. Therefore, what I personally regard as having possibility to sin i.e. disobey God's commandments is simple as that break the rules of Allah, which are revelaed in the Quran. Yes, we do have that possibility, but the consequences are also ours.

Well i choose to follow Allah/God teaching and hoping to be a good person and do not want to break his rules because it will cause severe problems for not only me but everyone else that is near me or a big scale problem (it depends on what crime and how big it will effect.

Exactly, so Submission means, at least in my understanding, going against animal instincts and selfish desires, which often lead to evil things. But most humans won't follow, I like the way Sam Gerrans provides his opinion on the nature of salvation in the Quran and how most people won't follow the word of God https//www.youtube.com/watch?v=31eCy3oiypk
