What is the reason for creation?
-
Peace Rekkd.
You are looking for that "eurica moment",when someone s answer will click with the pre concepts in your thoughts and you say"That s it". That is why we were created! It makes sense!Well I hope it comes for you.
However I feel a big part is missing which is before this creation of us ,other creatures and the universe.
Somehow ,for some good reason, you were born a human. You find yourself ,with your family and some other people at a certain place.
You had no choice in this matter, you cannot remember anything before you were born. You cannot change anything about your nature/looks/...And you cannot even live outside earth. It seems we are all confined on this earth within this huge universe, struggling to make real sense of why all this?My view
According to Qoran, it says this
228
How can you disbelieve in God when you were dead and He gave you life, then He puts you to death, then He brings you back to life, then to Him you ultimately return? The key word here is ? Amwattan/dead? This means we were dead before GOD created us as humans. It is very important to watch the words GOD uses in Qoran. GOD does not err or make mistakes with the choice of His words!!!
Hence we were ?Amwatan/dead? can only mean we were alive before that otherwise GOD would have said ?You were nothing?.
It is not possible to be ?Amwatan? if we were not alive before that?
This verse gives two life cycles.
Of course the next questions will be
Why did we become ?Amwatan?/dead? What did we exist as? Why were we created as humans? Why did God create this universe,,,etcOn why we are here
My understanding, check all information and verify as per 1736.
GOD created ?souls? at first creation. He did not create Angels or Jinns or Humans or Animals or Stars or ?.etc.
One needs to ponder why?
Then the ?Feud? (3869) happened? What was it? Why did it happen? Who initiated it?
That is when the ? souls? were classified as Angels and death was created for others to be recreated as Jinns ,humans , animals, stars,?etc
Angels were the ?souls? that accepted GOD s authority in full without any doubt, the other?souls?questioned/doubted/? GOD Alone authority which constituted a ?rebellion? against the Creator. i.e Freedom of choice existed from the beginning for all the ?souls?.
Jinns were the hardest of these rebellious souls, Iblees initiated the ?rebellion idea?. Humans accepted the ?Amana? ,other souls ( Animals?etc) repented and accepted their ?fate/role? in this life to be redeemed after the predetermined time of this life and this life is now the battle ground ,yet again, for the Jinns and humans to redeem themselves .
GOD s justice is fair. He gave every ?soul? the choice to become what they are now and is giving more chances for some to correct and accept His kingdom as yet another creation and so on . GOD initiate a creation and repeats the process according to outcomes earned by the created. On evolution in general
Let us take our example first. The human comes from one single cell. A complex cell that divides and its? programme? is well designed by the Master programmer. He said to it ?Be? and there it is dividing itself into different cells that gives different organs that forms the full human. Brain ,heart, lungs, stomach?the lot. Each carrying the DNA characteristics of the original cell ,yet each having a different role within the body. A miracle of miracles!
Now, Darwin had no idea how complex that ?original cell?was?
Let me go on making a fool of myself. GOD does not have constraints like time!!!! a second, two years, millions of years, billions of years are all the same to Him! GOD has all the time He needs .Yes Eternity!!!!
Going back to that single cell of Darwin. It was programmed by the Master programmer. Well designed to come up with all the species. Yes all the different species . Like your body ,remember!. He said ?Be? and the cell was.
The missing link you say? Well the species started at the same time ,evolved in their own different ways and remained different to where they are now!!!! All having the main characteristics( some DNA) of that ?Original cell? yet different in make up and purpose.
Mankind evolved( from that cell, over an amount of time as the special ?species? intended by GOD to undergo the test when the time was right and the ?shaping? completed. On evolution-Man and monkey to be precise-.
Here we go again, I try once more to make an even bigger fool of myself.
Serves me right for discussing things I have no knowledge of.
So does Qoran tell us anything then?
?We initiated all living things from water? 2130
So Darwin?s famous statement that ?life began as a `simple? cell? is laughable. the cell was too complex!!!!
Quote
Some evolutionists have stated that the human gene and the monkey?s gene are 90% similar. However, even if the similarity was 99%, we are still talking about 300, 000, 000 nucleotides that must be haphazardly re-arranged to change the monkey into a human. The probability laws preclude this as an utter impossibility. The human gene contains 30, 000, 000, 000 nucleotides; 1% of that is 300, 000, 000.
Fine, I will stop and conclude that evolution is possible only within a given species.
I better concentrate on trying my hardest and spending my time understanding the message and how to redeem myself.Of course I am not here to answer your question nor am iI attempting to. Each one of us is here to answer their own question to the best of their ability.Yes,more questions will arise,it is ongoing.
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
Let me rephrase the question. Why did God create all this, what is his reason, what does he gain? If you're answer is because he's a creator please don't write it down.
It's too stupid to believe that it's just to worship him. If your answer will be test, tell me why, what does he gain?

Brother,
Have a look at this view, also from Qoran( Please stay with it till the end if you can)

There are some details I agree with.

Salam,
5156 I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to serve Me.
If your question will be why He created us to serve Him, then you'll have to wait until the Day of Judgement to ask God as only He knows the answer.

Do you think God needs humans and jins to serve him? If God does not need anything then why would he create people to serve him? And how are we to serve him?

Peace Rekkd.
GOD is no need of anything!!!
You are here to choose what to do with your real self. Grow spiritually with the help of your Creator or stave your soul(real self).
Remember you are intelligent, you have the choice, are you willing to sacrifice/toil to save your real person? The purpose is for your own development. You,the real person.
Besides, you cannot change or undo your creation. Choose wisely. Choose the guidance to attain salvation.
GOD bless you.

Do you think God needs humans and jins to serve him? If God does not need anything then why would he create people to serve him? And how are we to serve him?
God has no need of the worlds.
As I said, you'll have to save that question to God as only God knows why He created us to serve Him.
To serve Him, submit to Him and obey Him. -
So according to "Quran alone muslims", "Sunni/Shia muslims" and pretty much every other religion or doctrine, we are supposed to live and die believing in something and not knowing why we were created.
We know we were created to serve God. This is straightforward;
5156 I did not create the Jinn and mankind except to serve Me.

May be Atheists or some other organisation know and can give you their take on it?Keep searching, after all what else can you do. Or just forget it and carry on living your life how you like.
What is your understanding/view now,by the way?
GOD bless you.

Do you think God needs humans and jins to serve him? If God does not need anything then why would he create people to serve him? And how are we to serve him?
How to serve is already in the Quran. You can actually ask God to provide an answer. It is between you and him.
If you don't you won't get where we are coming from.
-
Good Logic I still have not come to a conclusion.
Reel, why would God want servants? Does he need humans to serve him? Is he like a king on a throne waiting to be bowed down to and served women and luxury cuisine? What is serving God according to the Quran? Does God need servants?
Thus your conclusion is false!
Where am I coming from? Where is God according to you? And when I get to God, what will happen or what's the environment like?

it is stated in the Quran, He does not gain anything.

human being is strange creature he always think what we gain by doing this and that ?
God is not human so he does not gain anything at all isnt it? or your image of God is based on human nature.. ?when human being create things he always have BENEFIT/GAIN in his head..while creating them
its not necessary that God also think like human .. he is the one who programmed you in such away that this question comes in ur headlook what an ART he create , he actually amazed you on what you are and how you are? thats a thing to ponder but we dnt ponder on already accomplished thing otherwise God give a logical argument based on same thing
when disbeleivers ask how can we become alive when we become dust?
God replied same how you created first time... what a point to ponder actually... -

I don't understand what you want.
This is a Qur'an-based forum, you come in and ask what is the purpose of creation, but you don't want answers based on Qur'an.
Hey, what did you expect ?Please go and ask your question in a metaphysical forum, then.

Verify what I said using an experiment.
Do everything to not serve God. Just go backward. Examples oppress humans, don't use your judgement, don't stand up for anyone, don't contribute to anything that may help the earth, cheat, make and break promises, lie, throw mud at your heart, have a very nasty psychology, don't trust your mind, be completely useless, etc. In short, vandalize yourself, others and the earth.
Where am I coming from? Where is God according to you? And when I get to God, what will happen or what's the environment like?
God is all around you. He is the sustainer aka the force responsible for motions. Once you get to God, you will start realizing how life can actually be easy and full of satisfaction. You will also realize that you do have control over what you want in life. You will be one with God. Side effects include having fear about mistakes and inability to divide humans based on race, gender, etc.

God created logic and reason. We choose not to worship statues because we know they can't do anything. We choose not to worship jesus because we know a "God" cannot be humiliated and killed like that. We choose not to worship an animal because they are inferior to us on an intellectual level or at least on a consciousness level.
Now the Quran states God does not need anything but he created humans to serve him. Does this sentence make sense to anyone? We as mere humans cannot serve God is my conclusion. Our purpose is not to serve as we can't do that, and God does not need it.
Our purpose must be something else, people here on this forum are stuck trying to modernize the Quran and argue over small details. BUT the bigger picture, if not the most important piece of knowledge which no one here seems to think about and reflect upon is WHY ARE WE HERE!
We are born to die, everything we have, or did or accomplished will be useless once we die. People that create a purpose for themselves like building an empire, becoming wealthy, having a family are deluded of the true reality. What is the true reality, I don't know but I will find it.
Anoushirvan, I came here to reassure myself that I have made the right decision. The sectarian interpretations of the Quran will lead me nowhere, at least not to what I want to find out. To reassure myself that the way of thinking of Quran alone muslims is just like Sunni/Shia muslims just a little better.
Reel, is God in control of everything?
-
The question is simpler than that concerning us. Why did God creat us? No, why in fact did God create anything? The name the Creator is His, that is, it is in God's nature self to create, just as it is inHis nature to sustain, Rabb.
In some previous discussions I held the same view as Rekk, that we cannot serve God because He does not need anything and I defended rather that we worship God rathr tha serve Him. On the other hand, spending too much time on this discussion, worship or serve is merely tos quabble about words.
The question is that God created us (and everything else, because it is in His nture. The what for? question should not arise because God does not have an end a finality a purpose. He is the Ultimate, therefore purpose is not in Him. He is indeed perfect. It is we who do have a purpose, whichever it may be.
So why God created us or what for has an answer for us as to OUR purpose, but not for God, which does not have a need for anything nor a compulsion to become something else He is not already or anything of the kind.
As to our purpose, it is clearly stated all over the Qur'an, our purpose and that of everything else to return to Him. nd our endeavour is also stated precisely in the Fatiha "Guide us to the ascending straight path, the path of those who found your favour, not that of those who found your anger nor of those who strayed.
All of us and everything will return to God, our "choice" or ossibilities is to d it the most rewarding way or to do it in more unrewarding ways. We and everythign will return to our divine source, whether we want it or not, our question is how happily or how painfully.
As to the question, serve or worship. We cannot do anything for God, but we can do something for ourselves. And the best thing we can do for ourseles is to acknowledge our nature and God's nature, that is islam, the source of peace, the accepting of Truth, al Haqq.

We as mere humans cannot serve God is my conclusion. Our purpose is not to serve as we can't do that, and God does not need it.
Many has stated 5156, i.e.
•
Wama khalaqtu aljinna waal-insa illa liyaAAbudooni
And not I have created the jinn and the mankind except that they worship Me.•
If that is Allah's words who are we as humans to question Allah's words.
The problem is the term "3budu" should not be translated as 'worship' nor 'serve' as in the English sense it can be very misleading. 'Worship' is generally associated with 'idol-worship'.
I believe '3budu' is something like 'subsumption' and then 'alignment' to the ONE Being, i.e. Allah.
• Subsumption to include or place within something larger or more comprehensive encompass as a subordinate or component element.
