      Peace The Sardar.

I am sorry to say ,it is GOBBLEDEGOOK.

None the wiser nor do I"have a clue" what the person is saying!!!

What happens to "He will speak in my name" ,the simple and clear Arabic" Bism= In the name, Allah=GOD, Al-Rahman= The Gracious/...Al-Rahim=The Merciful".

Some people complicate simple things and you seem to find them.
There are outrageous ideas/translations out there. The mind boggles!!

      But thanks anyway.
      GOD bless you.
      Peace.

Here is a quote from the post

ISM- is the second word of this phrase. After studying 3 different root words I came to the conclusion that SEEN-MEEM-WAW is the most suitable root word for ISM. According to the Lexicon, the root word of ISM is - Basically this word simply means to distinguish or to know the overall scenario. Distinguish also means to recognize or identify or examine things very deeply. Although the word ISM has more meanings but in this context we will chose the meaning as IDENTIFICATION.

Siin-Miim-Waw = to be high/lofty, raised, name, attribute. samawat - heights/heavens/rain, raining clouds. ismun - mark of identification by which one is recognised. It is a derivation of wsm (pl. asma). ism - stands for a distinguishing mark of a thing, sometimes said to signify its reality.

And here is something i noticed which is weird.

        From the post

ALLAH - is the 3rd word of this phrase is ALLAH which means any SYSTEM OR UNIT. But the System should have all the qualities described in Surah AL-IKHLAS / AT-TAUHID.

But wait the root word of Allah is Alif-Lam-Lam-ha God, the one true God applied as a proper name denoting the true god, comprising all the excellent divine names; a unity comprising all the essences of existing things. From Project Root List http//www.studyquran.co.uk/PRLonline.htm
Look for Alif-Lam-ha by the way so you can find Alif-Lam-ha

Im am no expert of classical arabic who review this post. If someone who has classical arabic knowlegde let us know about it.

Bism does not mean "In the name" because it is not a combination of "Bi" and "Ism".

              Salaamun bro,

I don't know what means Bism yet. But surely there is a difference between Bism and Bi+ism.
I have not checked the article, inshaAllah if Allah wills I will check and give you my views on it.

Edit Sorry I do not agree with what they said.

The text offered for reading makes a world out of nothing. Names are not gods nor using a name is idol worship and besides names originally matched what they described, they did have a meaning. That nowadays we use proper names and have idea of what they stnd for nor thinkt that they should stand for something is our problem but not the nature of things.

As to the graphism of bi ismi or bismi, the invocation bismillah... to me it makes perfect sense, we invoke God with the name that most concerns us, ar rahman ar rahim since it is those names that bring us into existence and the name rabb the one that keeps us in existence and care for our developing to be what we ar meant to be. To me in a way we coud say that they are foundational names at least as far as we are concerned. And we pray to God that He may attend to us with those names, the names of mercy, with which he teaches us the Qur'an.

                  Salaam
