I Feel So Heartbroken.
-
I second what huruf said. There were a couple occasions in my life where I might've felt the same but for the grace of God. Life goes on in better ways than what we may have had.

It will be ok sister IBI, I know it hurts now but you will get better, just keep praying and have patience, God will take care of you, he places no burden on a soul that it can not bare, and also remember that a thing that you think may be good for you may actually be harmful, and what you think may be harmful, may actually be good, God knows and you dont, so just patiently persevere with prayer sister, you will come out better and happier eventually, you soul mate may be just around the corner, in the meantime, I too will say a prayer for you. God willing.
I like this post.

Don't loose heart or hope or faith, sister. God doesn't take something from us but to give us better things, only we may not be prepared to see them, but they will be there.
Lovely saying. http//3.bp.blogspot.com/-m8FTkipO7Xo/UZUs4EdMYxI/AAAAAAAAD2M/eW2Fcpwt_O4/s1600/rose-symbol-for-facebook.png

I think this is beautiful advice for every muslim.

Peace,
i think this is rather idealistic, and not nessessarily true. i think we should be focusing on what is truely important.
God tells us in the quran that if both partners desire to reconcile, he will cause that to happen, in my understanding
He also informs us that we often ask for things that are harmfull to us, that He knows what is best for us.God always gives us what we NEED. he does not always give us what we WANT.
This life is a test, not a hollywood movie.
while it is understandable to be upset by a relationship breakdown, if it is to an extreme level, i would consider whether such a relationship is healthy or whether you were depending on your partner for happiness..
because at the end of this short day, our lives, we are to be returned to God, and he will judge us and either admit us to paradise or to hell.he reminds us in the quran that our spouses will not help us at all on the day of ressurection. we must focus on God, and the fate of our souls. not on ideals or dreams. relationships do not always work out, we get hurt, we god willing learn from the experience, but in the grand scheme of things, what is the enjoyment of this life compared to the hereafter. if it was unhealthy for you, and for the fate of your soul, then god causing it to be broken is a great blessing for you..
God knows best, and he knows what is best for us.
with all of that, i understand, as well as i can from my own experiences that love, and loss, is painfull, however without all of that, i would not be where i am today, and i have gained much valuable experience from it. i would never change a thing. not that i can.. keep strength, and faith in God, may he heal the pain in your heart, and help you to focus on him, and on your soul.
Peace

What is "this"?
May I know what you refer to as "rather idealistic"?
The reason why I like huruf's statement above is because it happened in my life Allah gives me what is/are better (or even much better, insha'Allah) after I experienced loses and grieves in the past, praise be to my Rabb. We should trust Him and should not lose hope even if the situation seem hopeless (very difficult).
Anyway, my personal case was not exactly similar with what happened to a thread starter (ibelieveinitonly, I hope she's alright now), and I still have to continue to trust Allah and strive for my next dreams.
This life is a test, not a hollywood movie.
Of course. I'm not a fan of hollywood movies. I dislike many of the movies (either hollywood, bollywood, korean, etc).
Peace.

rotfl
holly wood movie take 2 hours to describe full story of life... so its sounds fancy..
real life story consist of years of years patience.. and life is not fair always.. we always lose a thing which we love.. its a natural process of life..
infact we always goes for best and when we cannot acheive what we want , there is hopelessnes start..
but never give up

It's so sad seeing this post, knowing that Alen died last year, alone in London. How very surreal!
