Why is nakedness shameful?

I've just finished reading about studies that show how shame of nudity is due to social conditioning.
So why does the Qur'an tell us to dress modestly if it has no real purpose?Because humanity sinned. We want to cover our sins. It's natural. If you sin, you want to hide.
And it's just the way we are created. The earth is a globe and not a triangle. It's just the way it is.

Why do some people feel comfortable being naked in public?

I've just finished reading about studies that show how shame of nudity is due to social conditioning.
So why does the Qur'an tell us to dress modestly if it has no real purpose?False. They need to check their data properly. Nakedness is shameful to certain animals also. Cats can have a tendency to hide their private part with their tail when they expose their belly.
Do a test on nudity. Try putting it into rats? utopia experiment and see how the result turns out to be. They were given unlimited supply of food and other resources.
In my view, the shame keeps sexuality in its place.
If people are bombarded with nakedness all the time they will eventually lose interest in sex.Plus, it would threaten human rights. Like in some schools here, cheerleaders are required to practice at 7am. In winter, this is difficult because they have to wear miniskirt. But no one cares about whether the temperature hurts them.

I would die if i didn't have any clothes here in winter. So clothes are used to protect ourselves from nature.
We don't feel shameful when we were kids right about our private parts? It's because we didn't know what sex was etc. and it's just natural that we have some shame about that.
Why is it natural? It's just how we are created.

cloths are very important and purposeful in lot of ways some of them are
? it hides your inner thoughts about opposite sex which is totally private thinking of individual
? it give u shelter against atmoshphere like snowfalling, rain, dust, cold etc
? it give u sources of earning income millions of people are engagged in cloth business
? cloths are used for carrying daily things like knife,money,mobile,keys etc
? cloths in unfiorm highlight identity of diff social groups of life like school kids, armed forces, employees even in some sects they have a set of cloths what they always wear
and its a beautiful present to give somebody cloths what they really needmoreover cloths were in practice before quran.

Exhibit A People of Andaman Islands..And there are millions others, usually situated in tropical area... (Papua island, Micronesia, Polynesian islands etc..)

True, 'thick clothing' from animal skin was invented by the Neanderthals.
Their habitat was northern hemisphere (Central Asia, Europe) during the ice age..
Without thick clothing they cannot survive the cold climate.When tropical originated (thus relatively naked) Homo Sapiens migrated and encountered (and also mated with) the Neanderthal, they copied some of the Neanderthal habits for survival, namely thick clothing and stock piling of food in preparation of winter.

So why does the Qur'an tell us to dress modestly if it has no real purpose?Modesty is relative. In a naturalist environment, nudity is modest--in Saudi Arabia in public, not so much. But we are also admonished to act and be modest.

) Shame comes with ego, we have a belief we are the cause of our body and need to show it off better. Kids, animals and some adults do not have this mentality. we adult humans have this naturally. But dressing came with protection from environment and migration of humans from one adapted place to other harsh places.
