English translations are incomplete and inaccurate.

The verse says cross/X in Arabic.

They were in ancient Egyptian civilization. This is indisputable.

And this is the new miracle of the Qur'an.

    Regards.

Which Arabic words do you say that say "cross/X" in the Qur'an Arabic text, please quote them. That aya is not at all in any context in which it can be attributed to Egypt or anything to do with Egypt.

And what you say is indisputable, if you insist on that bringing the indisputable to the fore, what it tells me is that you do not want it disputed, but that in fact it is perfectly not only disputable but deniable.

Inventing a Magical X as if we were in a cinema show, and then bringing pictures of a position of the armas which is as common in human attitudes as in art, is really a very feeble argument for anything. If you want to put a dead person in a coffin with his ruling attributes and fit it well and shapely, regardless of any magic or of any Osiris, you have to cross the arms as it is done in the pictures you show, that is the way the fit and that they are not haphazardly set and also the way they look best. There is no need to seek for some esoterical mumbo jumbo to account for that.

Another remarkable thing is that all along the story of Yusuf, the text of the Qur'an speaks many times of the "land" without a proper name.

And again, crucifixion, either in X or in +(plus), was not practised in Ancient Egypt. Alien to it. So even if there were any magical "cross/X" in the Qur'an it cannot have anything to do with Ancient Egypt.

      Salaam

The verses I gave are talking about cutting hands and feet in the form of cross/x.

And this is the miracle of a new Qur'an. Because as Texe Marrs discovered, the pharaohs make cross/X shape hands and feet. It proves it with photos.

Do not confuse this with the crucifixion in Christianity.

This is making hands and feet to the shape of X.

They were in ancient Egyptian civilization. This is indisputable.

But this civilization probably had a much wider territory than it believed.

        Salaam.

            Salaam.

Your attempt to tie up a pretended "Osiris X" with the cutting of hand an feet on oposite sides and with Egypt does not make sense. If you cut a hand on the right and a foot on the left, you do not have an X. If you are keen on having something at all you would and you are keen on this kind of witty play with the opposite sides, you would have a diagonal from one cut member to the other, because if you cut both hands and both feet you may make an X and you can also make two parallel horizontal lines and two para llel vertical lines. But X would be just one of the possibilities of the little entertainment. But that is not what the aya says, it says hand and feet on opposite sides, one hand one foot, because if you cut both hands and both feet they would not be on opposite sides they would be on all sides. And again no crucifixion in Ancient Egypt and although the cutting of a hand was known for certain crimes, not so the cutting of feet.

Again the crossing of hands or arms over the chest is a very common thing and I would say a spontaneous thing, I do not think it is a matter of a civilisation. The Egyptians did all types of scupltures and paintings on every subject and and I doubt that there is something they did not represent. What would be surprising would have been they did not do it.

If you try to give a good figure to a dead person and give the attributes of a ruler an put it in a sarcophage, how would you put that would look and fit better than the way you have shown? And it is not the "Osiris X", rather it is that Osiris was a representation of resurrection, Qiyama, and therefore the way he is shown as you call the OsirisX is as a dead, it is not because it is Osiris that he is depicted like that but because he is dead, and as a dead he is fitted into a coffin in the same way that all dead, the most ergonomic.

The extent of Egyptian civilisation may have been great southwards along the Nile, and may be SOME marginal influence and good trade in Asia and Creta and other places yes, just as there were SOME influences and trade from other civilisations on Egypt.

            Salaam

In past , the assailants killed the Muslims, pulled them out of their vatas, or cut them in cross/X shape.

In the past, other spiritualist pagans, such as Pharaoh, did the same.

And this verse about self defense and retaliation.

533 The recompense of those who fight God and His messenger and seek to corrupt the land, is that they will be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off on alternate sides or that they be banished from the land. That is a disgrace for them in this world. In the Hereafter, they will have a great retribution.

In short, crossing is about self defense and retaliation to attacker pagans (Who cuts the Muslims in X shape).

The Jews created the Cabhala with the teachings they took from the Egyptians.

Kabbalah is a leaked version of pagan Spiritualism/New Ageism to the Jewish world.

It's a Trojan horse, just like Sufism.

Writer Texe Marrs is talking about the reasons for the Egyptian pharaohs ' obsession in bringing the legs and arms diagonally to the position

n ancient Egypt, the mark of "X" and the symbol of cross-bones in the symbol of an X was very prominent in religious contexts. You can find the X on the walls of a number of ancient Egyptians temples and pyramids... It is the sign of Osiris, the great sun God..
The ancient pharaohs, when they were buried, had the legs crossed in the form of "X" as a sign of devotion to Osiris.''

which somehow earn a promotion to become God of Afterlife.

He is the one who will judge the soul when his/her deed was being weighted on a scale as described in the Holy Book of the Dead (also authored and written by Gods)

Osiris (seated) judging the soul of the dead as his deed is being weighted on a scale..

Osiris once was a human.. loved by the people and become a figure of worship of a religion after his death..

Egyptian Sun God is RA and not Osiris...

This may explain why the pharaoh in the past has been talking about a crossing of limbs and arms as a threat.
2070 So the magicians went down in prostration. They said, "We acknowledge the Lord of Aaron and Moses."

2071 He said, "Have you acknowledged him before taking my permission? He is surely your great one who has taught you magic. So, I will cut off your hands and feet from alternate sides( in x/cross shape), and I will crucify you on the trunks of the palm trees, and you will come to know which of us is greater in retribution and more lasting!"

How comforting it is to know that apparently such horrible torturing method of the Pharaoh is also being adopted by the author of Quran as one of his/their approved method of punishment.

"The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Apostle, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter."
                -- Quran 533

It is bewildering how a puny human could wage war against "The Universal Ultimate", since everything (supposed to be) happened in accordance to His plan...

                On Crucifixion...
Crucifixion was not the 'classic' Ancient Egyptian torture method...
There were no hieroglyph description of such practice ever being found...

Apparently it was invented by the Greeks..
"They crucified him with hands and feet stretched out and nailed to cross-pieces."
                -- Histories, Herodotus, 479 BC

And then adopted by the Romans... before widespread throughout neighboring area (such Arabian peninsula) thanks to Jesus which popularized such horrible method of death punishment.

And then picked up by the author of the Quran as among the "approved punishment" for those who dare to "rebel" against his / their authority.

The tradition of holding arms and legs in position X can also be seen in other pagan applications around the world. For example, Hindus cross the legs while meditating in the Far East.

                rotfl
Crossing the legs during meditation is solely based for the purpose of comfort..
You can see it on any Mosques as well.. people sitting on the floor.. crossing their legs...

Can you imagine one meditating while squatting???

The X-mark in Pagan Egyptian religion is the cross-mark was holy

These ancient Egyptian figures demonstrate how prevalent was Osiris' sacred sign, "X."

The mummy of Rameses the Great (1279-1213 B.C.) was found in this cedarwood sarcophagus. This pharaoh is thought by Egyptologists to be the ruler who enslaved the Israelites and forced them to build cities.

The identity of the legends is also confirmed by this hieroglyphic picture, copied from an ancient Egyptian monument, which may also enlighten you as to the Lion's grip and the Master's gavel.

                  Codex Magica

                  TEXE MARRS

This may explain why the pharaoh in the past has been talking about a crossing of limbs and arms as a threat.

2063 They said, "These are but two magicians who want to take you out of your land with their magic, and they want to do away with your ideal way.

2064 "So agree upon your scheme, then come as one front. Whoever wins today will succeed."

2065 They said, "O Moses, either you cast down or we will be the first to cast down."

2066 He said, "No, you cast down." So their ropes and staffs appeared from their magic as if they were moving.

2067 Moses held some fear in himself.

2068 We said, "Do not fear, you will best them."

2069 "Cast down what is in your right hand; it will consume what they have made. They have only made the work of a magician, and the magician will not succeed no matter what he does."

2072 They said, "We will not prefer you over the proofs that have come to us, and over the One who initiated us. So issue whatever judgment you have, for you only issue judgment in this worldly life."

This crossover mark was blessed in the pagan Egyptian religion, and so was especially the rituals of cross arms and legs.

The tradition of holding arms and legs in position X can also be seen in other pagan applications around the world. For example, Hindus cross the legs while meditating in the Far East.

For this reason, the known forces in the world often use the X/crosswise sign as well as the pyramids and single eye signs from the Egyptians.

                        peace all,

Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger = (Godly people/peacemakers) and strive upon earth corruption = ( people like cyborg movie villan ) is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides = (cut/control/mark their resources/weapons as well as their manpower) or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the hereafter is a great retribution.
except for those who return before you apprehend them. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (533-34)

                        i already discuss this thing

                        background

author gives you three options and in last the natural option which shows mercy and forgiveness

the people who are cruel as history witness them as bloodthirsty monsters being reffered there = these are people who are in war against God= war against the system of God = war against peace ..

first option = kill/crucify them (whatever you can do) for saving your womens and kids from these monsters

second option = get them as war captives by controlling their manpower (also mark them in chains like X shape chains what we see in hardcore prison from foot to hands )

third option = make them exile from land ( history of australia) put them somewhere they cant be able to come back on their own..

fourth option if they repent then leave them

does it make a sense now?

first two options are also applied by all law making bodies throughout the world (my two cents) peace

No Quran is not a book of symbols. He says the physical one.

This is not controlling or driving car.

Cut the hands and feet crosswise.

Just like the pharaoh did to the Muslims.

Just like the other pagans do to Muslims.

If you read verses in integrity, you'll see the pagan do them to Muslims (crucified or X shape cutting hands and feet or banished from the land) .

And 533 about self defence and retaliation.

                            These are retaliation and allowance.

Forgiveness is at the forefront of every crime. Even in the murder, forgiveness is in the foreground, but there is a license to execution too.

In theft, according to the size of the theft is done, by jailing/power cutting, real hand cutting or mark it by scratching.

                            Peace.

I think our brother Wakas made a article about it. http//www.misconceptions-about-islam.com/cut-off-hands-theft.htm

Fir3awn is a person, who is given that name in the Qur'an it is not an officatitle or official title. Yusuf inthe Qur'an lives in a place that has several gates. as can be read in the Sura Yusuf. Anciente Egypt did not have several gates through which could enter at the same time the different brothers of Yusuf.

It heinous how history and the Qur'an are being distorted and adulterated so that the Bible stories continue to shape our knowledge of history and God. Not even Christians or Jews take the Bible as factual history, but here are Muslims paying tribute to ethnic literature.

There is nothing wrong with finding the spiritual gems of the different books that make up the Bible, but to worship the whole collection of books that constitue the Bible, as factual undisputable history an impose it on the Qur'an is horrendous.

Any amount of nonsense and dark ideas can be thrown on aciente Egypt mailigning a whole civilasation which outlasted any civilisation we know of, but never mind, those are lesser persons and they can be maligned. And the Qur'an can be held as nonsense, provided the Bible remains sacred, not for Christians or Jews, who finally know what it is and take it for what it is, but for Muslims, who donot know what it is, nor know how to take it.

Fantastic! No enemy can do to Muslims what Muslims do to themsleves. Great, really great.

And this 5.33 is a marvel of discrediting a divine book and a religion merely by refusing to see what it says and substituting absolute illogicality.

                                Pitiful all right.

                                Salaam

Of course, this crosswise proves that the event has passed in antic Egyptian civilization.

It gives us a better understanding, of why they using today, the X-mark alongside the pyramid and one-eye markers.

And the Quran only religious source that gave the knowledge, they make cross the feet and arms in the Egyptian civilization.

As I said in the meantime, ancient Egyptian civilization could have a wider territory than is believed.

It doesn't have to be limited to today's Egyptian soil, where the pyramids are located.

But it's definitely happening in ancient Egyptian civilization.
