Because you are basically advocating marxism. Also, "al zakat" cannot mean "distribution of wealth." And the word for justice is not "salat." It's best you read past posts on the forum and try not too hard to get caught up with it. Basically salat entails reading and preaching of God's message. Zakat means purity or pure growth and "ata al zakat" refers to attaining or showing purity of character/soul/self (nafs) in my opinion as of now.

I am no longer a Sunna-rejecter. See 4:59-65, 62:2-4, 3:31, 4:156, 7:157 Messenger teaches and is to be followed and obeyed. Examples of revelation received which is not in the Qur'an: 3:123-126, 33:37, 2:187, 66:3, 62:9.

Please consider the words "According to the Quran's Guidance/Laws". I am not talking about the terms of Marxism at all.

I have been reading past posts for more than a year now and I have a right to disagree with any established translation/interpretation. Word is mostly interpreted as "establish". for 'reading' and 'preaching' there are different roots used in Al-Quran. For ME = petition and to call upon Allah, the one and only God who answers your calls. is term given by Al-Quran. It is an aggregation of Ayats mentioned in Surah 7019-35 and Surah 231-11. These ayats are detailed in Surah 4.

          Peace!

Actually I wanted to say that means "Establish a system in which you do justice to your relations with your Creator, your family and your sociey based on Quran's teachings".

I have come to think that as-salaa is communion, the realisation that we are all one, that God is one, that God and His creztion are one, that everything is one, and that we are a conscience, and an individuality of that ONE. That we derive our sustenance from everything else, that we are the sustenance of everything else, that we are not detached from everything else. That we, all creatures, all that exist are one and the self.

The salaa as ritual may be, that a ritual to remind us a devolve to us the consciousness that we are One, as everything else in God's messages, a reminder. Taht me be the value of the salaa viewed as prayer, but it is just a hlep a crutch a reminder that we must never forget that we are one.

                Salaam

Salam, Sister! I do not/cannot believe that the Creator and the Creation can be one until and unless the Creator tells me so in His Message. See, He has created seen and unseen creations and we do not have knowledge about them but what the Creator has told us. However, being creation of a same Creator is something common. Being common in some aspects cannot prove that two things/objects are equal and one.

When you talk about ritual then please let me tell you that there is only one RITUAL mentioned in AQ , that is washing yourself or some body parts. Do you know ANY other ritual? Please let me know.

I really would appreciate if you could share your knowledge from AQ rather than some philosophy of your own.

                      Peace!

                        I said
"The salaa as ritual may be, ", if anybody wants or needs that there should be such a ritual, as there are many people who think in those terms, or that want or need a ritual. I am not saying there should be or there should be for all or that it is imposed.

Ritual is a fact of life, some people do it but do nto call so. And some people may do without anyr itual at all. Even the way to eat is a ritual or a convention, depends on how you see it.

As to the Unicity of being, to me is evident, one God, one creator, what are we or what is all? Separate consciences? Yes, I already said as much, but fingers are also separate but they are one with the body. Nothing is disconnected from everything else. How do you call that?

                        Salaam

                          May peace be upon you,

In my opinion, the concept of mixing the Creator with the Creation is a bad mistake that could lead into thinking that "we are gods", thus to Shirk, without being aware.
The Quran is the Word of God, and there is no support from it for this thought.

The concepts of "Creator" and "Creation" are totally separated, but there is one interesting thing that may resemble your concept the Ruh!
God has breathed into every human being His Ruh.

"When I have formed him, and breathed into him of MY SPIRIT, fall down prostrating before him."
                          (1519)

"Then He proportioned him, and breathed into him of HIS SPIRIT. Then He gave you the hearing, and the eyesight, and the brains (or hearts) ? but rarely do you give thanks."
                          (329)

Then, the Creation is the Mulk, the material existence of this world, including our bodies and our minds. But there is something more, the Ruh of Allah which is inside every one of us. This does not mean in any way that we are divine beings, but that we are CONSCIOUS BEINGS.

                          And God knows best.
"And they ask you about the Spirit. Say, 'The Spirit belongs to the domain of my Lord; and you were given only LITTLE KNOWLEDGE.'"
                          (1785)
And this verse explains why science doesn't know why are we coscious.

Can we translate "As-Salat" as 'Social Justice - according to Quran's Guidance/Laws'
                            and translate "Az-Zakat" as 'Distribution of Wealth/Resources - according to Quran's Guidance/Laws'

This ay lead to this, this may lead to that...
                              Anything can lead to something

Everything is one, yes. Or do you mean that you have a will of yourself and therefore you are independent of everything else and you would exist without anything else existing?
You see, if you think like that that may lead you to believe that you are God.
The fact is that indeed everything is one. we are there because God holds us. How can God hold us if we are something separate from Him?

Or look at it as you and what you dream while you sleep. Is your dreem separate from you, something independent of you? Something that could exist without you existing? You and your dreams are one. And God is one with his creation. His creation is like a dream of His. Does not have a real existence, we do not have a real existence except as a thought of God, or a drema og God. Anytime God wants we may cease to exist and even more than that we will have never existed.

                              Salaam

With Spirit indeed I mean the part of us that is conscious, while with Soul or Nafs I mean the part of us that is responsible of our acting, our Self or Ego, the part of us that makes decisions based on desires, instinct, and knowledge stored in the phyisical brain.
If you mean that without God existing, we wouldn't exist, then that is true, because He is the Originator. But if you say that we are a part of him, then this is indeed something wrong in my opinion. We are slaves of him, as all the things in nature are, because this world is His world, and so our bodies are.
If instead you mean that our Spirit/Consciousness (Ruh) is somehow linked to that of God, then you are right, the Quran in facts says that He breathed a Ruh of Him into us after the embryon develops, not that He created a Ruh for each of us.
The Quran often repeats that Allah, or God, does not need any worship from us and that is our need and benefit to serve Him, this in my opinion means that by observing Salat, Zakat, and doing good deeds without asking for any payment is like a nourishment and healing for our Selves (Nafs), because this makes us more aware of our Ruh, thus closer to God.

Red That is not exactly correct dear brother, we are more servants because in these verses talks about freeing slaves. (9010-14, 2177, 960)

                                      Salam Brothers and Sisters!

Can we translate "As-Salat" as 'Social Justice - according to Quran's Guidance/Laws'
                                      and translate "Az-Zakat" as 'Distribution of Wealth/Resources - according to Quran's Guidance/Laws'
                                      Please share your views. Thanks!

Note I am not talking about the terms Social Justice and Distribution of Wealth used in Marxism

                                      Peace!

) thank you brother The Sardar, I started to paste the exact same
page as you and concluded that salat as 'Social Justice and "Az-Zakat" as
'Distribution of Wealth/Resources was incorrect, therefore I concluded
"uh-no and uh-no" what do you think?
