    Thanks Noon waalqalami.

means double i think. Correct me if i am wrong. All scholars interpret this verse as equal of two females shares. That is why the male share is double to female.

peace NK, no word "double" in the verse and it means exactly two females.

6143 octet azwajin/spouses (4 x 2 pairs) of the sheep ithnayni/twosome and of the goat ithnayni/twosome say aldhakarayni/the two males prohibit or l-unthayayni/the two females ...

6144 and of the camel ithnayni/twosome and of the cow ithnayni/twosome say aldhakarayni/the two males prohibit or l-unthayayni/the two females ...

kalala case 3+ females mixed gender siblings it means exactly two females.

4176 ... and if kanu/be they of ikhwatan/siblings rijalan/menfolk of wanisaan/and womenfolk (3+) falildhakari/so to the male (i.e. gender) similitude apportion l-unthayayni/the two females shows the god for you an/lest thou stray ye of and the god in each thing knower

      3/5 three sisters (1/5 each)
      2/5 1+ brothers (two sisters 2/5)

      2/3 four sisters (1/6 each)
      1/3 1+ brothers (two sisters 1/3)

      5/7 five sisters (1/7 each)
      2/7 1+ brothers (two sisters 2/7)

      notice it's always...
falildhakari/so to the male (i.e. gender) similitude apportion l-unthayayni/the two females

Thanks Noon waalqalami. One more query. What if only daughters and no son. For example only one daughter or more than one. Verse says if one son and one daughter then half half. What would be the distribution of wealth if only one daughter or more than one i.e two , three , four etc.

It?s same if only son/s, parent, spouse, sister/s, brother/s ? sole inheritor/s gets the whole.

No need for inheritance laws none to contest or absurdness like ?the state? gets remainder.

          Peace!

Much appreciated. It completely make sense otherwise if you think about traditional interpretation then it seems like God is more biased towards female.

The Traditionalists are trying to make Allah/God (SWTAY) look like a misogynist which is framing Him of a crime He did not commit.

                Peace Sardar,

Completely agree with you. They still insist that male share is double than female. There is no word "double" in the verse as pointed out by Noon walqalami. I looked the word in the quran and it simply means two.

Does anyone know what is the sentence in arabic if someone want to say "male share is double than female share"?. I am interested to know the sentence in arabic.

In the Qur'an to say twice something the expression "mithlu" in the dual is used, "mithlay".

                    Salaam

Thanks huruf. I didn't know that "twice" word is actually used in the Quran. You must be very knowledgable. Same as other members of this group especially Noon walqalami.

If anyone interested please read Chapter 3 verse 13 and 165. You will find word "twice" in the Quran. If God really want to say twice he can use the word in the same way he used in the other verses.

Everything is clear. I will comeback on this forum when i need any help. Thanks everyone.
