Share your worldview?

Hi,
I'm taking a class on Christian apologetics - and as part, I need to find a non-christian to interview to discuss their ?worldview.? As I?m interested in the differences between Christianity and Islam, I figured I?d try to interview a Muslim. But sadly, I have no Muslim friends to discuss this with...
Is there anyone here willing to share with me their viewpoint on the big questions - where we came from, morality, destiny, and the general meaning of life? This isn?t meant to be a debate, just a chance to explore another religion and to try to understand what they believe.
If you're interested, the general questions I?m interested in asking are below. No need to answer them all, just conversation starters.
If using private messages or skype/chat is better, please let me know.
Origin
• How do you think we got here - how did humans originate?
• Where did the universe/world come from? Big Bang, created by God, other?
Meaning
• What do you think the purpose of life is?
• Does human life have meaning? If so, what gives that meaning?
• Are humans more significant than other creatures? Are we special? Why?
Morality
• Why do we have moral ethics? Why do some things ?seem? bad (like murder)
• Do good and bad exist? How do you determine what is good or bad?
• Are good and evil subjective or universal/absolute?
• What is a just punishment for sin?
Destiny
• What happens to us after death?
• Do you believe in a heaven or hell?
• If so, how do you get there? Is there anything specific you have to do or believe

Origin
• How do you think we got here - how did humans originate?
It depends on how you define as "we" and "human".
The body part was a product of continuous changing and mutation of DNA inside the cells passed through generations. The cells are made of Carbon bonded with Oxygen, Hidrogen and Nitrogen and those matters are produced within exploding stars.• Where did the universe/world come from? Big Bang, created by God, other?
This fabric of time and space started from a process dubbed the "Big Bang". It's not big (as there isn't any space and time before it) and it's not loud as there isn't any air to produced an audio sound. A 'small pffft' might be more appropriate for a name.
Meaning
• What do you think the purpose of life is?
To 'walk though' what God has planned.. to make mistakes and learn something from this life..
• Does human life have meaning? If so, what gives that meaning?
Yes, and the meanings varied among individuals...
• Are humans more significant than other creatures? Are we special? Why?
On planet Earth, humans are the most brutal and the most intelligent, for now.
Things might change as time progress...
Based on the progress so far, humans seem to be continuously changing to be less and less brutal and more and more benevolent.
Everything is special and not only human, everything has their own role to play within the "Grand Plan".• Why do we have moral ethics? Why do some things ?seem? bad (like murder)
Moral ethics was invented initially to make social relationship better between human.
Good and bad need to be judged based on a perspective. As time progress the 'perspective' become wider and wider....
Now (most) human has reached a stage where they are also including 'perspective' of their own and other species..
It's still evolving as we speak... hopefully continue for the better...• Do good and bad exist? How do you determine what is good or bad?
Good and bad need to be judged based on a perspective.
The more perspectives considered for the judgement, the better...• Are good and evil subjective or universal/absolute?
Subjective
• What is a just punishment for sin?
What goes around comes around, every action has proper reaction.
Destiny
• What happens to us after death?
The Carbon based cells recycled to form / feed another carbon based life.
The consciousness survive...• Do you believe in a heaven or hell?
It depends on the definition of heaven or hell..
Heaven a place to drink wine, eat fruits and have orgy with 72 virgins, I think such place exist only on this planet..• If so, how do you get there? Is there anything specific you have to do or believe
By death of course, the state of solemness and peacefulness of the soul shall construct and determine the state of a soul.
Religion, Social Identity, Genetics, Nationality, Favorite Dead People, Favorite Holy Book, Favorite Android Apps doesn't matter... -
Jafar isn't someone to interview if you wish for a stereotypical Muslim worldview. If you wish for that, HP_TECH is an excellent choice to give answers on that.
rotfl rotfl
Jafar, so it sounds like you would describe yourself as an atheist?
What is an atheist?
Would it be right to say you believe there is no "evil" - in that there is no absolute governing authority (i.e. God) determining good and bad?
"Evil" the label used to denote someone who are 'bad' or 'enemy' is definitely subjective..
To North Koreans all americans are "Evil" as they were indoctrinated as such since they're little children..
To the Germans (1930-1945's era) all Jews are "Evil" as they were indoctrinated as such since they're little children..God has not only absolute 'authority' but FULL CONTROL of EVERY ASPECT in this universe. All the "Good" and the "Evil" and anything else.
As such it doesn't make sense that God warred against somebody / something, God gets angry, God 'came down' to earth to live as a human, God faced a 'rebellion', God faced a 'rejection', God put down a 'law' that can be violated, or anything / anyone to do something which goes against God's will and plan.
Why Jesus got crucified?, that's the plan.
Why John got beheaded?, that's the plan.
Why Kennedy got shot?, that's the plan.
Why Saddam got hanged?, that's the plan.
Why am I typing this?, that's the plan.
Why did you started this thread?, that's the plan. What commonly happened are
Some group of people declaring themselves to act with "God Authority" on earth in an effort to try controlling other people and / or taking advantage of other people to pursue their own selfish goal. Usually it's a political goal...From Akkadian Kings to Egyptian Pharaohs to Jewish Sanhedrin to Catholic Church to Islamic Clerics... it all followed the same pattern.
Nonetheless, all events including the above is in accordance to God's will and plan...

Peace Jafar.
So you believe in "GOD s will and plan"?
I wonder where you get that idea from?
As far as I can make out from your posts, you are saying all holy books are invented/ made up by men so where do you get your ideas from?
Or are you getting inspiration from the "GOD" directly? Please specify how?Or write your own inspiration for others and cash in on it? Or give it free?
I guess you were also taught what you know by humans from some book/s. I wonder which ones?Just wondering ,among the many confusions we humans have, which confusion/mix up is yours.
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
Peace Jafar.
So you believe in "GOD s will and plan"?Yes
I wonder where you get that idea from?
God
As far as I can make out from your posts, you are saying all holy books are invented/ made up by men so where do you get your ideas from?
At the end of the chain, it's coming from God.
And so does all other things...Isn't it obvious that a book, any book (or ebook, articles, journal) was written by human?
Or are you getting inspiration from the "GOD" directly? Please specify how?
Yes.. all lessons, inspiration, experiences that I've experienced as of today it's all coming from God.
Or write your own inspiration for others and cash in on it? Or give it free?
Free
I guess you were also taught what you know by humans from some book/s. I wonder which ones?
All humans, all beings, all books, all ebooks, all movies, all things
Just wondering ,among the many confusions we humans have, which confusion/mix up is yours.
I don't understand the question..
All humans have confused, the difference will be between those who 'realized' it and those who do not 'realize' it, those who accept/embrace it and those who reject/refuse it. Those who said that he / she never confused and everything is clear are ignorant fools...
Being confused is normal, natural and positive.. it's a sign that he/she is thinking, he/she will eventually came out from her/his confused state and being enlightened with new knowledge. Yet the new knowledge will give birth to myriad of new questions and he/she will be confused again with the new questions... And so does the cycle goes on and on and on and on....
That's how everything progresses...
