"And I will misguide them and make them desire, and I will command them, so that they will mark the ears of the livestock, and I will command them so they will make changes to the creation of God." Whoever takes the devil as a supporter other than God, then he has indeed lost a great loss.

Salam/Peace everyone there is an interesting thing i have been hearing a lot is that DNA can be evidence for Allah/God (SWTAY). What do you think about this? Does the Quran speak anything about the DNA?
Evidence for God is the entire observable universe (and other unobservable universes, but since it's unobservable by human it cannot act as an 'evidence'.
DNA is an evidence for evolutionary nature of carbon based living being, including viruses.
DNA is a code which mapped out how the cells will behave, including how it will replicate through division.
DNA also contains traceable information regarding the 'history' of it's changes through time thus act as evidence for evolutionary nature of living being as stated above.DNA is an evidence that human species didn't started with a dude who suddenly appeared from out of this earth and landed on this earth as a punishment because supposedly he ate a forbidden fruit as suggested by a talking snake and / or he was created by molding of a clay.
Example Through historical information in the DNA chain we now have an evidence that today's Chicken and Birds are the living descendants of Dinousaurs. Even when today's chicken refused to believe in it as they have their own holy book which stated that they all came from another planet.

You, good brother is evidence for Allah (SWTAY). Science is not needed for
the creators validation. Scientist makes mistakes like the theory of
evolution which has been debunked, but is still taught in American schools.
Leading scientist "believe" that aliens exist with no proof. Therefore,
DNA, water, gases, The Sardar, and all that you can think of
or conceive is "evidence for Allah/God (SWTAY)."peace

The article says the red part of the words is referring to DNA. The writer has no knowledge of Arabic. It is funny how he/she has dissected Arabic words to isolate DNA.
(
People go to any extent to prove their point of view by twisting Quranic words. May Allah SWT bless us with enlightening knowledge.

People go to any extent to prove their point of view
It's 'common'... especially among people involved in political and religious world..
It's called "CONFIRMATION BIAS".
https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_biasConfirmation bias is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information in a way that confirms one's preexisting beliefs or hypotheses. People tend to interpret ambiguous evidence as supporting their existing position. Biased search, interpretation and memory have been invoked to explain belief perseverance (when beliefs persist after the evidence for them is shown to be false).
A series of psychological experiments in the 1960s suggested that people are biased toward confirming their existing beliefs, focusing on one possibility and ignoring alternatives. In certain situations, this tendency can bias people's conclusions. Explanations for the observed biases include wishful thinking and the limited human capacity to process information. Another explanation is that people show confirmation bias because they are weighing up the costs of being wrong, rather than investigating in a neutral, scientific way.
Confirmation biases contribute to overconfidence in personal beliefs and can maintain or strengthen beliefs in the face of contrary evidence.
May Allah SWT bless us with enlightening knowledge.
God does continue to bless us with enlightening revelation.. up until today and shall continue in the future, it hasn't stopped.

Peace Novice.
I agree with you.
I cannot see how the two alphabets are related ,nor does the verse indicate a DNA subject.
I gave the link for the brother to check .
I have no doubt DNA is GOD s programming. It is obvious. I do not need to look for verses to confirm that. GOD has designed us and created us, Qoran confirms this ,it is enough.
GOD bless you.

If there's such thing as "God's written scriptures" then DNA is among it. (And not some holy book / stone tablet / scripture)
The DNA cannot be twisted for human political goal, it is consistent and it's automatically enforceable.
Example Many citizen of today's state of Israel claimed that they are the descendant of ancient middle eastern people who lived in Canaan. Yet their DNA shows that they are more closely related to Ancient European people compared to Ancient Canaanites. Their own DNA refute their own 'political' / 'religious' claim.
From the DNA we can trace back the history on how the cell has evolved and how 'close' in splitting and mutation (read ancestry) does one being related to another.
The DNA stored in one (human) cell is equivalent to 1.5 Giga bytes of data.
Thus the complexity and richness of the information contained within. And up until now human hasn't totally understood all of the code and it's combination (sequencing).Yet few things are certain, based on human DNA as evidence.. human is a species that evolved on planet earth and have close correlation with other species. Orangutan for example shared 97% of DNA code with human.
Whether human accept it as a fact or reject it for the sake of their 'holy book' / 'tradition' / 'religion' / 'political goal'.. it doesn't matter....

Peace good logic

Yes thats true brother but as I understand so far from the Quran is that God does not use a magic wand to do something. He has set up rules for everything and so is our creation. I see no harm in satisfying my curious mind by trying to understand those rules.

Quranic verses do explain human evolution. The traditional translations and tafseers explained them as per the existing knowledge at the time.
It doesn't matter.. one thing for sure the REVELATION of evolutionary changes of EVERYTHING in this universe (plant, animal, planet, star, sun, language, culture/tradition, religion) was NOT INSPIRED by Quran (or other holy books claimed to be written by God / Deity by some religion)
Their understanding will continue to change as scientific knowledge improves.
Of course;
God's revelation is a continuing process..
Those who asked will always find the answers..
Falsehood and forgery will eventually be exposed... in an EVOLUTIONARY process too... bit by bit.. step by step...Study God's signs directly on the universe.. ponder about it.. be confused.. ask questions and you shall find the answer. Although sometimes you might not like the answer because you need to overhaul your previous assumptions / belief. Which might go against your own ego.

My understanding is that God created laws for every process. Creation, evolution and all sciences follow these laws. The whole creation is bound by these laws.

My participation on this form should be an indicator that I have shrugged off all previous beliefs which I inherited.

Science is a methodology.. it's not a 'religion' which is based on 'dogma' that need to be followed.
https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_methodQuestioning, criticizing, formulating new idea / hypothesis / explanation is encouraged in scientific culture. So does debate and discussion.
As such; human understanding; derived from applying scientific methodology; shall continue to change. The newer and better explanation shall replace the old one. That's how God's revelation works... briefly explained in the Gospel by a parable.
No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. No man also having drunk old wine straightway desire the new for he saith, The old is better.
-- Luke 5As such revelation is also happening evolutionary and definitely it hasn't stopped.
Yet it's normal and understandable that some people, who is already satisfied with the "old wine", shall NOT like and desire the "new wine".My participation on this form should be an indicator that I have shrugged off all previous beliefs which I inherited.
Good for you, statistically it is very rare.. as it's very difficult.
Only happened on average 1% from total population.Observe the universe, came up with questions, ponder on it and you shall attain new revelation. Share the revelation to others (without threatening others that they should believe / accept your revelation). That's how enlightenment works..
It works for all people not only privileged few who claimed themselves to be "prophet". -

Um i don't know if you heard this there is a sect called Scientism https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientism

And also Scientology
https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ScientologyChristian Science
https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_ScienceDivine Science
https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_Divine_ScienceThe reverse also exist.. a 'movement' which then evolved to become a 'religion' where the founder advocate the use of "scientific methodology" without mentioning the label of "science".
"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.
But after your own careful observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.?
