Brother are you trying to avoid the question. Its ok if you do not want to admit that you added "The Greatest" in your translation of 171. Here is your translation from your web site

    171 ........ ........
The purpose of ascending him (Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam) was that We show him visually the greatest Existent in the Miscellany of Our Existents-Physical realm.

Which Arabic word in 171 you translated as "The Greatest"?

Now it seems you are just playing. What hampers you read the words. tells you not something FROM our Ayat. That something is later mentioned as the greatest Ayah.

You listened not doubly transitive verb needs two objects; and objects can be elided if mentioned somewhere else about the same concept.

You accept not any academic rules.

    Goodbye.

I cannot dare to play with the words of Allah brother.

      171
      ...... .....

......to show him from our signs....

      First object is "HIM"
      Second object is "OUR SIGNS"

Why to ignore two objects in 171 and jump to 5318 to impose second object?

You are playing with words unnecessarily while from within you are clear. At this stage I can't believe that you are not aware of Preposition and that is the object of preposition and NOT of verb.

The object of a verb is always ACCUSATIVE. A genitive noun is never the object of verb,

If you wish not to believe the ascension of the elevated Messenger beyond the extremities of universe, it is ok. But you should not play with words.

          The formula is simple

          Verb +who+what

            • as in 171
            • as in 4153
            • as in 4348

When one goes to the extent of blindness just to remain stuck what nonsense he had thought in the beginning, it is better to stop discussing with him. Ok Mr Novice, I will no more waste my time on you.

              Here is grammar rule

              1. A transitive verb is a verb who, in addition to its agent, occurs on an objective compliment, for example . An intransitive verb only occurs with an agent, for example . The transitive verb is connected to its objective compliment with preposition or without a preposition but an intransitive verb suffices itself with its agent.

I showed your Quranic verses showing the usage of objects of the verb "" and you started calling my understanding "nonsense" .

What happened to your tasreef ul ayat? Can't you see how the verb "" is used at other places in Quran?

              171

......to show him from our signs....

Is this part of ayat not giving understandable meanings or it is lacking some information?

              Salaam

Again irrelevant stance. Only non transitive verb is made transitive by using preposition "be" NOT transitive verb. Then a verb is either singly transitive needing one object or it is doubly transitive needing two objects to complete the statement. When second object is conveniently understandable, it can be elided.

http//to show him from our signs....

It is ambiguous. What is that which is "from our signs"? Add that and its becomes explicit.

Thank you brother for your reply.

By adding "greatest" to our signs what become expicit?

means some of our signs. His signs are everywhere around us. Let's see what Tasreef ul Ayat shows us in Quran

                  3020-25

                  SAHIH INTERNATIONAL
And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing .

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.

And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.

And of His signs is He shows you the lightening fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky by which He brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.

And of His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command. Then when He calls you with a call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.

                  2164

                  SAHIH INTERNATIONAL
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and earth, and the alternation of the night and the day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which benefits people, and what Allah has sent down from the heavens of rain, giving life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness and dispersing therein every moving creature, and directing of the winds and the clouds controlled between the heaven and the earth are signs for a people who use reason.

                  757-58
                  (&#65279

                  SAHIH INTERNATIONAL
And it is He who sends the winds as good tidings before His mercy until, when they have carried heavy rainclouds, We drive them to a dead land and We send down rain therein and bring forth thereby of all the fruits. Thus will We bring forth the dead; perhaps you may be reminded.
And the good land - its vegetation emerges by permission of its Lord; but that which is bad - nothing emerges except sparsely, with difficulty. Thus do We diversify the signs for a people who are grateful.

                  1712

                  SAHIH INTERNATIONAL
And We have made the night and day two signs, and We erased the sign of the night and made the sign of the day visible that you may seek bounty from your Lord and may know the number of years and the account . And everything We have set out in detail.

These are few ayat from Quran. Do we have to go somewhere to see these signs?

What you said, you are non-aware what you said. When man goes blind minded it happens.

It is now hundred percent confirmed to me that you are not interested in learning even a bit but just keep raising non sense objections all the time even at the cost of exposing yourself.

I gave you my understanding with logic and reasoning with examples from Quran. I never asked you to follow my understanding rather it was for your consideration of an alternate understanding. Anyone who knows even little Arabic will not say it means "some of our sign".

Preposition Min denotes and refers to a sub-set from the set. Set is the whole meaning all our signs. Prepositional phrase means specific sign from all of our signs.

It is your choice to accept the statement of Qur'aan according to normal language rules or totally disregard it. Salam.

Brother there is no word for "specific" in the Arabic text as per my little knowledge of Arabic. Min means from. So the phrase means "from our signs".

Since it is not saying all of our signs you can say "some signs" means "a seb-set of all the signs". But ayat does not say specific signs from all our signs.

When we translate as "specific signs from all of our signs" it is adding extra to the ayat to support certain story.

                          Salaam

You should first read the basic rule for preposition. Just read English grammar. A preposition is not used for its own meanings but it relates to some other entity in the sentence.

Prepositional phrase is never the object of a verb nor it is subject of a sentence. Your insistence is baseless and because of basic knowledge about prepositions.
