Every seventh day of the week is generally accepted as a day with devotion to The Lord. Fifth day for Muslims, sixth day for Jews and seventh day for Christians. This is your Sabbath and no one disputes about that, so it is already accepted by all. Many people have forgotten about a gathering day however so they have lost it. It looks like people here dispute in it. For me it has started to become clear.
The particular day does not matter, I commemorate The Lord extra much on the sixth day of the week, every seventh day.

The word "disputed" in that verse in Arabic can also means "swore".

I also think if verses about Sabbath is not just a merely useless suplementary verses.
Instead it's a direct commandment to us.You said "fifth day for muslims", but what's that fifthday?
Sabbath both in Arabic and Hebrew has same meaning rest. -

Sabbath both in Arabic and Hebrew has same meaning rest.I meant that traditional Muslims devote the fifth day of the week (Friday with an ugly polytheistic word), whereas Jews on the following day and Christians the next one after that. The reason is probably religious dogma to separate the different approaches into religions. The interval is still 7 days so there is no real difference. And I take mine on the sixth day (Saturday &. That is the Sabbath, to break/rest from your work to commemorate God and that is why Muslims go to Mosque, Jews to the Synagogue and Christians to their Church on one particular day of the week. Perhaps 150 years or more ago, at least in Sweden, they actually kept Sabbath on our seventh day with more importance to the church-walking. That they associated Jesus with God was a grand mistake though.
No one disputes in it so it does not need to be explicitly decreed to the communities.
But now millennia later people dispute in it so please why do you not get back to work and stop slacking at home? We have time off now because of the Sabbath. Or praise The Lord and be happy, rest and commemorate.

Sabbath in the Quran simply means "rest" (2547,789).789 And We made your sleep for resting (subaataan)?
It's not Day of Sabbath like in the current Torah, because there is no word day/yawm that following Sabbath in any verses

I believe the earlier groups disputed and changed the concept of Al-Sabt (the rest period) in Al-Kitab, to another concept of 'Sabbath'. The link to above post reviews this concept.
