On 55:62 & 55:74 involving Houries.

I just noticed something in 5636.
When Allah/God (SWTAY) started to speak & describe Gardens of Delight, he also mentioned fruit which is fâkihatin (فاكهة)
(First mentioned in 5620). I also noticed that in Quranix.org & Corpus Qur'an grammar, Hoor (حور) is in nominative definite INDEF plural noun and Een/`înun is in nominative plural indefinite adjective but in PRL they are supposed to be feminine noun. You can check the grammar in Quranix.org (http//quranix.org/56#12 - keep reading from 5612 to 5636) & Corpus Qur'an (http//corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=56&verse=15 - http//corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=56&verse=22#(56221) - http//corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=56&verse=27 - http//corpus.quran.com/wordbyword.jsp?chapter=56&verse=36).Could be a small mistake PRL part but i could be wrong. Anyway, in 5632 fruits are mentioned again5632 وفاكهة كثيرة
Wafakihatin katheeratin
And many fruits. Both of them are in feminine form.
And the next verse
5633 لا مقطوعة ولا ممنوعة
La maqtooAAatin walamamnooAAatin
Neither ending; nor disallowed.MaqTû
atin & MaqTûatin are also in feminine form.Next verse is interesting in my view because take a look at this
5634 وفرش مرفوعة
Wafurushin marfooAAatin
And raised furnishings.Furushin (فرش) is in masculine form but MarfooAAatin (فوعة) is in feminine form.
And here is which i think is the big kicker because look here
5635 انا انشاناهن انشاء
Inna ansha/nahunna inshaan
We have developed them completely. The phrase "developed them/ansha/nahunna (انشاناهن)" is in feminine form.
And the verse that is part of the topic
5636 فجعلناهن ابكارا
FajaAAalnahunna abkaran
And made them "abkaran"The "them" is in feminine form (FajaAAalnahunna/فجعلناهن)
I left abkaran untranslated because i want hold on the translation i wanna make sure it is accurate to the original text of The Divine Revelation/Qur'an.
The same pattern of the fruits occurs in 5562-73 as in the video Brother Joseph showed.
So what do you think?

There is a very important aspect in this. From the very beginning of Qur'an we are told, when entering the description of hell an dparadise, can't remember the ayas, but the thing is repeated also later in the Qur'an, when describing hell or paradise we are given amthal, images which are not real descriptions but should evoke the sensations or feelings of hell or paradise, which is logical, because if e do not know it, we cannot recognize is in a real description. So they are amthal, and the huris, hatever we want to understand by it are amthal.
e see when justice is represented they make a satue usually of a woman with her eyes covered and ith a scales. Justice has no image it is a value and law, so we give the kind of represnettion than most people would take as the real menaing of the thing.
It is like describing a color to a blind person. We have to resort to images that do not relay on sight, may be smells, touch snesations...
Houris, by whatever gender or appearance should evoke purity and company and beauty, not public image beauty, but deep beauty which fiills the whole being.
Salaam

Salam/Peace dear sister Huruf. I was hoping you would answer the question about the "abkaran"
Traditionalists use 5636 to justify that Houries are women which the phrase is فجعلناهن ابكارا/FajaAAalnahunna abkaran because the them in the verse feminine and the word abkaran (ابكارا) is translated by traditionalists as "virgins" but something tells me there is dishonesty and possibly a lie.
I recommend reading from 5612 to maybe 5640. So atleast get the full story.
EDIT By the way, sorry if my response is a bit snarky or something. I hope that someone like you can atleast help me out in translation issues.

Peace The Sardar,
When I look at context, all those who are fortunate enough to find themselves
in the garden both males and females will experience satisfaction (bliss).3315

Allah will be gardens in the presence of their Lord beneath which rivers flow,

Interestingly, the word purified spouses in original Qur'anic Arabic text is azwâjun muTahharatun (ازواج مطهرة)
Root word of Azwâjun (ازواج)
Zay-Waw-Jiim = to couple/join/pair/unite/wed, marriage, a pair, a fellow or like, spouse.
Zawwajnaa (prf. 1st p. plu. II.) We wedded, gave in marriage or pair them

Zaujan (n.) Wife; Husband; Pairs; Comrade; One of the pair, male or female
Zaujaan (nom)
Zaujain (acc. noun. dual) - husband and wife, two kinds/pairs, comrade, one of the pair, male or female.

Peace All.
Few things to remember when dealing with "Mathal verses"1- A description that is not real cannot be fully understood by reality as we perceive it.
2-We cannot project ourselves into the future to find out .
3- GOD intended the description to be a comparison of how it feels like to us compared to things we know in this life only. GOD did not describe it for us to know its shape and form.
4- GOD has chosen words with multiple meanings deliberate and for a good reason. Now, I will do the following speculation/ make my assumption as this is all we can do here
"Azwajun Mutaharatun" in my opinion means a pure form/body for our soul. Remember there is no mention of reproduction or gender in the next life.
Like "Wa Idha Al- Nufussu Zuwijat" When souls are coupled/given a new form/body.In this life we are coupled/given this imperfect human body. In the next life we will be in a different form/beings.
GOD bless.
Peace. -
Everybody finds in Qur'an or anywhere else, what he or she has in him or herself.
We see words and we put into them whatever is in our minds or conciously or subconsciously. Those who crave for sex dealings and barely anything else will find sex, those who seek pure company and no void talk will find that.
3.15 says in it (the garden) azwajan mutahharatun, those with sex above all and ho on top of it are males ill think that they will get waggons of virgin women to unvirgin them. Oh they might get that, ho knows, but then most certainly it will not be int he garden where they will have landed.
Also, translate azwajan as spouses might not be good translation. Azwajan is s much wider concept than spouses, may be beings akin to our own with whom we will feel in the best company. Spouse as good logic I think points out is too tied to this world where we procreate and need partners for that.

Like huruf mentioned that jannah is an example, please reflect on following two verses and see how translators play with them. How they replace mithal, an example, with real hoors. There is no end to their fantancies.

Sardar, the abkaran I have not studied. I have read something but really cannot say anything about it myself at this moment.
On the other hand, I am suffering a lot reading your posts because, I guess it is when you quote some arabic even if from somebody else's messages, I get the weird signs that I have mentionned before, as if all Arabic as replaced by Saturn or Sirius writings, I men extraterrestrial and sort of spoils the whole.
Obviously the abkaran means something, but this is not like telling real stuff that we can get a clear message on practical moral terms, this is a vision of the kind of state we might be in at that point if we have earned it. It is the kind of stuff, as I said previously in which you see not so much what God has in mind but what we retched humans have in mind.
It is clear that as soon as some feminine (grammtical) form shows, some minds run riot with the kind of orgies they ould be ashamed to imagine in the real world. Frustrated some people call it. The kind of frustration that comes from lack of depth.
Very pathetic.
Also i am sure that a lot of lust lore around amongst traditional non biggot musulims are mere jokes. We all know lust nd sex are may be the main ra material in jokes all over the world, and hen mixed with a bit of irreverence they are great. Only people now are so obtuse that they think it is serious.
Some hadith, speciallyc oncerning the prophet, I think, are of that kind, mere dirty jokes turned into sacred scripture.

The Sardar Salam,
This topic will not make anyone a disbeliever by accepting whatever the way they understood the Meaning Abkar / Huur / Qasirath /Yatmizhunna? They are not gonna practice this in their current life? for example if one got the meaning of Zakat wrong then they are in trouble coz they need to include the meaning of zakat into practical life....But blaming translators of Quran (either they are traditional or quran only) is totally weird unless you know their intention precisely while they translated them. Translations to many other languages including English is much precious.. After all the one who has his or her senses and God gifted knowledge should try to understand in their own way .. that part God will do, coz God guides?Even anyone translates, people can find faults, translation is not equal to Quran and guidance?
What are dictionaries / Lexicon? Books created by people on a subject called LANGUAGE? But on the other hand, what is Language? Language is from God, that?s clear from the verses of God.. Coz He only created languages for human? Languages spoken at the time of revelation of any book may not give the same meaning what we speak now or what is written in Dictionaries contemporary eras/societies?. One of the attractive verses for me is.. 2451?The only statement of the believers when they are called to Allah and His Messenger to judge between them is that they say, "WE HEAR AND WE OBEY." And those are the successful. ??.? Here for them to obey they should understand what they heard? And they would not go and search in dictionaries.. No such verse in quran which God says that people didn?t understand the Arabic language written in quran, so let them look at the dictionaries?NO? But in invented Hadith you find many claiming that they don?t understand the quran so they bring all sorts of fabricated hadiths to further elaborate or go into detail them. In general life for study purposes looking in various books to further enhance the knowledge is perfectly fine and inevitable.. Coz the knowledge that we seek and we refer both from human.. for example Medicine? if you want to become a doctor, you are approaching books related to medicine invented by human, coz becoming a doctor is human invention for that human has made relevant references or books? Right?
But Books of God is not human invention and it is directly from God.. they are the speech of God? to understand the message of God you need to approach only the book of God? Of course it is written in a language.. but as I said earlier .. language is not human made.. but God made.. coz God taught to Adam? That?s why a child is learning a language super fast with the mercy of God?So best way to practice what is in quran is to thoroughly study the book within the book with whatever the way you understand in whichever the translations .... Once you are done doing that only, you can compare things with various identical verses and also in practical point of view as well? I am sure that same quran will teach you the meaning of everything what is written in that.. Regardless how far the translation is corrupted either intentional infusion or translation of personal understandings?
Chapter 55 & 56 you were referring The Sardar?
One thing we should remember is not a direct meaning of a word, but in what aspect it is meant in the verse and even the chapter and what co relation with other matters mentioned in the quran.. It is like a comprehensive interrogation from a suspect or crime.. Note the Chapter 55 is some alluring matters as well some terrifying matters? interestingly for BOTH Men and Jin? if it is only for Men we have to look at the chapter in different style? By which we can come to conclusion that Jin is not different to Men whatever aspects enticed or terrified there? so Jins are expected to enjoy the same features whatever stated there....
Further 5574 it reads that Men and Jin Not (yathmithhunna).. If we take 5573 Huur as women then Yathmithhunna will comply?. But here we have to note that it cannot be of only human nature coz Jin is also not touched?. We all know Jin is not visible to us, and whatever form they are created they cannot be as human at least in physical body if not soul.. coz God refers to them in another name as JIN? So having to touch or copulate with a human women for Jin is something which is not acceptable by this verse.. And later explains us ? which of the favors you BOTH (Men & Jin) deny? ?that?s bizarre.. that?s not a favor for me? Huur has to be someone who is matching the quality of both Men and Jin? So it cannot be a human woman? Further to that as we have not found any verse in quran that in Janna we reproduce and it is not a life to grow children and look after and they grow and we get older? That?s not what is promised. That?s hardship.. and not janna and it is pleasure kingdom? So in case if Men and Jin having to Yathmithhunna, the solo purpose should be enjoyment with the mercy of God.. If anyone talking against having sex and calls it something drastic then we need to check his or her mentality seriously? That?s against nature of men or jin or animals? With What God attract us about His Delight Kingdom ? with women, Food, sex, drink and saying massive Kingdom comprised of whatever a person desires? No hardships, and most of all PEACE..With what God Terrifies us in His Kingdom? Fire, everlasting torture, with inconsumable food, dirty drinks, without women or sex? And NO PEACE?.and full of hardships?.
As per these chapters, it is crystal-clear that Pious Jin and Men are going to live in the same Janna as assigned as per their deeds.. So These Huur or Abkar or Qasirath should be living in the janna assigned for Both JIN and MEN equally?. So if one deduce that Huur or Abkar or Qasirath is a women(not human and not Jin but adaptable to both) then what is then there for the Female Jin and Female Human? We have to know that a soul is inserted to a human Men or Female Body or Jin Male or Female body? But does this soul has a gender in its own? When Angel takes my soul, will I go in my same gender to God with all features what I had as human body? that?s far from reach of proper conclusion? But take example of Angels? Each angel has soul and body.. Coz God says they are also destined for death except God will? So when angels came to this world in the form of human male they changed their shape? Did they change their soul? Soul has no concrete figure or gender.. That?s why God blew to adam?s body his(adam?s) soul? If God does that we can expect that God can change our own shape in Janna to adapt to what is created there? Why Male Boys should serve the Ashab(inhabitants) of Janna? Why not female Girls?..The one who went to Janna will not definitely have attraction towards Man of Janna.. coz he is cleansed from all bad aspects? But he will have attraction to women? So having girls to serve them would be a question mark? But at the same time if women of this world go to janna in the same shape, having Male Servers is questionable, coz they will have attraction to Male only?Enjoyment is not meant for Huur or Qasirat or Abkar but for those who entered to Janna and these Huur and rest are bound to give the pleasure to the inhabitants of Janna.. So if women to enter Janna and if Huur also Male then the enjoyment will be mainly meant for Huur and not for the women who entered the janna..she will. but It may look bit complicated but practically it is? I think God has well planned everything?. In my assumption All the believing Jin(male/female) and Men(male/female) will go to the janna in the form of Male but jin will remain as Jin and Human will remain as human that I have no clue?..?I may die aged 40 or 50 or 100 or whatever? but what is the favor being in Janna being old? so it has to be youth.. so if God can make soul as youths to enjoy the best of His delight kingdom why we cannot assume He wont make all females as Males? On the other hand?. If a disbeliever died at the age 0f 100 how he would make him suffer in hell at such age, so we can expect to deserve the taste of hell also needs the youth in which he did all his violation ?.And jin as well will go to same Jahanna which they would suffer equally?
The above are all my assumptions and not necessarily anyone take it as truth ? in this subject having assumptions are no harm? every individual has to have sort of assumption in this case.. Unless he or she wont have any idea what is the place he or she is promised of?. Unless we know what we are promised of it would be hard to get going with good deeds.. Coz human always look for results or benefits of what he is investing with?At least having some dream assumptions will push you hard towards good deeds? So Mr. The Sardhar,, you won?t get replies to what is abkar but only assumptions of every individuals.? COZ dear no one has seen or will ever see the abkar / huur / kasirath?. So you study and assume.. no harm?
Most probably you may refer the below link as well for some more relevant information from people?

By the way, the verses is 315. Not 3315. That surah/chapter has 200 verses.
Thanks.
The description of Jannah is to convey a state of metaphorical bliss
in it you will have butter pecan ice cream surrounded by strawberries
with whip cream topping with chocolate sprinkles. How would you describe bliss?
The Quran is masterful in this regard, insomuch that people take its
metaphors literally.Everybody finds in Qur'an or anywhere else, what he or she has in him or herself.
Yes the "mirror effect"
1- A description that is not real cannot be fully understood by reality as we perceive it.
Like "Wa Idha Al- Nufussu Zuwijat" When souls are coupled/given a new form/body.The description of Jannah = bliss, like moments of serenity at the end of a perfect day. )
As for you, O contented souls.
Return to your Lord, pleased and pleasing.
Welcome My servants.
Welcome into My Paradise.
peace
-
Peace The Sardar.
I will give you my opinion on verses 5625 subject (Ashab Al Yamin) The second group that the surah is talking about
56 35-38
-Inna Anshanahunna Inshaan-They will be recreated, a new creation / in another form/body-.
-Abkaran- Original form/not seen or touched before-
Uruban Atraban- that will be a perfect match for them/their soul-Uruban Atraban-. for Ashab Al Yamin-.GOD bless you.
Peace.. -
Peace All.
While we are on the subject of surah 56, let me consolidate on my opinion that GOD is going to give us a different form/creation in our next life .
Humans we are now(mortal) ,but we will be other classification in the next?
Look at the conclusion of the surah after the Mathals that GOD has given for Al Sabiquoon, Ashab Al Yamin and Ashab Al- Chimal in the same surah5657 We have created you if only you could believe?
GOD is telling us here He can create us in any form/shape/species... GOD has created us humans in this life.
5658-60.God is asking the reproduction through Semen(male) and egg(female) did we initiate it or did He?
We were created in this body to die after our life here is over. Nothing can stop us from dying.
5661.
GOD can change us if He willed and recreate us from what we do not know.
56 62.
Do we remember our first creation( before this life)? What form was that? "Al- Nashata Al-Oula-
5663-73
Then GOD goes on to remind us about the essentials of our livelihood
Food, water, fire. Without them life would be impossible. Did we create them?In the same way another life will be created that is different from this one in the next episode .
Remember folks GOD could garnish a soul with any form and make it any shape /size. And dependent on different things then mortal or immortal.
Who deserves what is up to GOD. GOD chooses the next step for us according to what we earned in this life.
5674
I for one, GLORIFY MY LORD. THE GREAT CREATOR.
GOD bless you all.
Peace. -

Salaam
Bold Oh dear. Could you screenshot it so i can see what you mean?
