Centi 50 I think that is the Bible that seems to say that. But in Qur'an I think that it is not to where Adam lived originally where anybody is going to be after death. The gardens of after life are something else, nothign to do with the place where early humans were, which as on earth, plain earth. The gardens of after life are mathal as the Qur'an clearly says. Also mathal is "hell", the fire.

    Salaam

To understand where is jannah or he'll, first understand what is this earth and heavens... How you will know paradise before knowing the place we are living with....

        Salam to All,

So actually no one knows where is Paradise
Or where all the heavenly feud took place. By feud I mean like iblis misleading Adam, then he was banished not obeying commands

We don't know where all this took place right?

        God bless

Your question and what you reply and again ask is so ambiguous... Do you want to know about the past where Adam lived or the future where believers are meant to be rewarded. Or the place where already Those martyrs and great people are living?

The Janna the believers are supposed to reach is not yet created... That's what I get from QURAN.. But Janna where Adam lived in beyond this earth and heavens and that could be the same place where those who are prophets and other great believers May be living... But need further study on it...
Regarding hell also not yet fired or created as per my understanding of Quran... For sure no one is in hell Now... But in Janna for sure some.. that's my understanding.... God guide us..

I just want to know where is Paradise and hell according to Quran. As far as i know its in heavens.

You mean the place we go when we die?
Need to ask those who has experienced death..

Here's a documentary exploring the phenomenon.
5TH Dimension Near Death Experience Documentary
            https//youtu.be/4mL-2f4FNPs

Most probably it's on 'another dimension', not in this universe.

There's also those who said that you might have experienced death.
And the memory can be revived through past life regression, a form of hypnotic therapy.

Near death experience is a crap.. There is nothing can be called as such... God has time for everyone for death.. No one will face it in advance or they will see it before hand or etc etc..

Yes... There is a place called Janna even before this earth and heavens were created.. Don't think that angels just hiding somewhere.. They are living.. And I strongly believe they do consume food since they are Jin... Ibrahim guest is not relevant coz they came in the form of human...
Take example of Marryam.. She received food from God through a messenger... Do you think that this food is of this very earth.. Or the food received to Moses people.. They are from Janna Where Adam lived and angels living... Some say Adam didn't have a body in Janna and only soul... He ate a fruit and he was advised to enjoy what was in the jannah and he was created in his full form and he was living... And later he was sent to this very earth which was pre-planned by God and not just coz Adam ate it or iblees fallen from angel to lower level... Even before God created Adam God says to angels about Adam creation and gonna place on earth... Ponder with it.. So is it Adam mistake is the cause? Or God had plan.. Centi don't refer always to articles but self study QURAN and conclude self.. Quran is self guidance and not from others... But from God...

                  Yes Novic...
235 Pickthall "And We said O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers"

By the above verse I deem adam ate.. Coz he was recommended by God to Eat and dwell free... It means a peaceful life with a restriction...do you have any other meaning to this verse.. Or the tree he was banned has some mystry? And what did Adam with the tree? Just go with the flow of the verse... I won't get anything other than eating... Okay... Leave the banned tree aside.. Didn't God ask Adam to eat in the Janna... So Adam do SD it eat... .... Pls do answer me with some better logic..
                  God bless u

235 and we said oh adam saty you and your pair the jannah and you both eat from it with abundance as you both wish and don't you both come near this shajara so you both become from transgressors.

235 Pickthall "And We said O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers"

Where is the red part in the Arabic text?

How do you understand "shajara"? Interestingly same Pickthall translated "shajarah" as dispute in 465

                    465

465 Pickthall But nay, by thy Lord, they will not believe (in truth) until they make thee judge of what is in dispute between them and find within themselves no dislike of that which thou decidest, and submit with full submission.

                    722

means they both tasted the shajara. How they tasted the tree?

A great philosopher poet from India Javed Iqbal wrote following lines ( translation as original is in Urdu language)

Shajara is secterianism, narrow mindedness is fruit of it
This is that fruit that expels adam from jannah

                    2213

2213 Pickthall Mankind were one community, and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed therewith the Scripture with the truth that it might judge between mankind concerning that wherein they differed. And only those unto whom (the Scripture) was given differed concerning it, after clear proofs had come unto them, through hatred one of another. And Allah by His Will guided those who believe unto the truth of that concerning which they differed. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path.

So mankind (adam) was one community then they disputed among themselves.

If we study Quran a different picture appears. Please reflect.

Yes I want to know "about the past where Adam lived or the future where believers are meant to be rewarded. Or the place where already Those martyrs and great people are living?"

The reason I am asking is because someone ask me those questions and I couldn't answer by using Quran

So that's why I asked here so I get knowledge to this questions using the Quran verses alone

                      God bless you

I feel pity on you.. You are rushing to answer another and you have not found answer in Quran and you appraoch here... First you approach quran and guidance from God and answer to the person... If you in fact want to use quran alone better master it in your own way and not posing questions here.. You take an answer from here and answer to that fellow.. It won't be in the end Quranic.. Anyway I don't blame you...
Somehow I have answered your question.. I hope you haven't read yet..

                          Yes Novice...
The topic here is where is jannah... Based on that I was answering saying Adam ate and was recommended by God to do so... Did Adam ate or not? That's key.. If he is a human wherever he lives according to the system of human body he needs to eat...
He was not on this earth for sure coz he and the rest were ordered by God to leave that place to EARTH... It was not like they were ordered to shift from one place of earth to another but to Earth. Coz they were not on the earth already... . How they were brought to the Earth is mystry.. But as soon as they were on earth they didn't have restriction like God put while they were on Janna... Hazihi sajara and An thilkuma sajara is very crucial... You can't get other than tree based on verses..
Why can't the sajara be tree? And what is the wrong in translation of sajara as dispute in 465.... You want sajara only to be as dispute or only to be as tree.. That won't happen..
Yes red part fruit is not in Quran but he has put inside bracket.. And all knows what is inside bracket is not from QURAN.. But I don't personally prefer anything to be included in Quran translation away from what's meant.. But while explaining to another or arguing or self understanding thinking of anything of any verse is harmless.. Coz that's personal understanding... Anyway translations won't guide us but God.. Meanwhile tasting the tree or tasting of the tree(translations) whatever it is... Why can't we accept tasting the tree is right? Does it look odd to you?
Now let's turn to your question which is totally away from topic... ONE COMMUNITY... The verse can never be taken as you say mankind equal Adam... It's not what God has really meant in it... Let's look at it
2"213 Arberry The people were one nation; then God sent forth the Prophets, good tidings to bear and warning, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth, that He might decide between the people touching their differences; and only those who had been given it were at variance upon it, after the clear signs had come to them, being insolent one to another; then God guided those who believed to the truth, touching which they were at variance, by His leave; and God guides whomsoever He will to a straight path"

It's not Adam... It's much later time... Most probably Nuh (coz Noah people told him one God belief we never heard of from our ancestors... To hear something similar in the past there should have been prophets)... ... Coz with the flow of the verses of Quran we can deduce... Well... Prophets mentioned here.... Adam was not a prophet or any of his immediate children.. God told to Adam that He will send guidance as per 238.. When Adam was asked to live in jannah no guidance was given to him on how to live the life except strictly telling him that Satan is an enemy to you and not to near the sajara... This was enough for him to live in Janna if he obeyed it.. But failed... But guidance from prophets is vast and covers many aspects.. It was required when there was a community.. As per this verse if you feel Adam and his wife to be as community mentioned in this verse then it's entirely going against the meaning of the total verse.. There was no enmity between Satan and Adam when he was in Janna but Satan was an enemy but Adam failed to grasp.. but when God asked to leave Janna to the Earth God said 236 ".... Get down all with enmity between yourself... "
When there is enmity there needs guidance... Numbers increased and community formed and God chosen out of human a prophet to reveal his guidance... And Adam was not Prophet.. If you take Adam as community Adam will become a prophet which we don't see any proof in Quran....
Adam was not the right time for Prophet and delivering scripture and giving laws... If you deeply give a thought you can imagine...
God clearly states mankind was one community and sent prophets.. So clearly to the first community of the earth received PROPHETS and not one... But scripture and not scriptures ... All one guidance from the first community and only prophets changed with time but message was same one scripture and all scriptures confirming each other..
We all know Adam is the first human being.. Needless to say again " .. Mankind (Adam) was one community.... " but there is a big difference saying mankind was one community coz we may think what happened to the people after Adam and so on.. God clearly states people were one community till certain time but later they differed in every thing language the way they look and the places they lived etc.. But they were together initially... Prophet Noah is ideal example for it.. If anyone thinks that while prophet Noah period there were any other community away from the place they were then it's baseless... It was a destruction to the whole world because of people of Noah ...
I cannot accept your comment based on QURAN Novice.. Unless you bring a better explanation to ONE community...

Quran will not give different picture but only one picture... Only one guidance and one truth... Approach to that one truth...

This is how stories are made from Quranic verses. Translation could be made "tasting of the tree" but Arabic text does not say that. Yes it look very odd to me if a translator add to Quran what is not there.

Now let's turn to your question which is totally away from topic... ONE COMMUNITY... The verse can never be taken as you say mankind equal Adam... It's not what God has really meant in it... Let's look at it

Please check some classic Arabic dictionaries and see what root means. If you believe that Adam was a single man created and his spouse came out of his rib then you have to accept that human race is a product of incest which is haram and you also have to ignore all those verses giving concept of evolution.

For you how a tree is tasted is not acceptable.. But for me yes.. How can a Tree be tasted. What is tree? One whole entity? It includes from its root to top... It's not odd for me at all.. It's similar for me as " taste the lunch" what I eat and drink in a lunch is up to me.. Or "Enjoy the party" what I do in the party to enjoy May not be the same what everyone doing there.. Or same as saying " read the book" what I read how I read where I start how I understand is up to the person...
Sorry novice.. I don't use classic dictionaries.. I have enough inside quran to understand with whatever translation.. I appreciate all translators... But in the end I won't take what they translated but what Quran says and with what God guides.. Yeah may be my understanding May go in line with translation or may be not... But with what God meant when He wrote...
So according to you Adam is plural and not singular.. I didn't talk of his wife here and rib bla bla..
Adam is singular throughout quran.. Don't you perceive it Novice... Whenever God call instead of his name Adam was called as singular and as male form of Arabic.. Do you agree or you have proof for Adam being plural with Quran throughout ...

what can I present you to understand.. Yes.. Same verse 235
"And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers"
Now you proudly talk of classic dictionaries.. Tell me what those dictionaries tell about the above verse.
Let me explain you to my understanding..
235 .. "Skun".. Dwell (singular) coz God address Adam only.. "antha" you (Singular).. "wa'sawjuka" YOUR(singulr) wife/spouse ..."wakula" eat (dual) not more than two.. "shi'thuma" You wish both (dual) .. "wala thakraba" (dual) not near... "fathakuna" (dual) lest you both be..
That's my understanding.. Now Adam called by God singular and God called Adam and his wife in dual form... Okay bring me evidences from QURAN saying Adam was plural? This is not the only verse, but all which god talks of Adam is singular and with this glaring proof you still want to think just coz of sajara of your misunderstanding, Adam to be plural and a community.. No way novice.. Look verse 237 "Then Adam received from His Lord.... " (his Lord -- Min rabbihi.. Does it look plural to you? It's not Their Lord but His Lord... I am sorry I had to explain all these simple things which everyone knows..
What incest? What haram? .. How do you make things haram while No Guidance is presented with Adam and of Noah Ibrahim Moses Jesus or Mohamed.. That's guidance coz it is required for communities but not for Adam.. Come on novice... Guidance from God kept on developing according each societies.. Even in the period of Mohamed God says you can't marry two sisters at a time.. But what is of the past is neglected and they were not asked to divorce.. So imagine with Adam... May God guide you with what is in fact truth... God bless u

                                  Salam to All,

I just want to know where is Paradise and hell according to Quran. As far as i know its in heavens.

                                  God bless

Peace centi50, let's not forget to ask, "where is purgatory?"
Are you looking for physical locations like "go a million miles
then turn left? At the moment I understand that the descriptions
of Heaven and Hell throughout the Quran are allegorical.

The example (allegory) of Paradise, which the righteous have
been promised, is beneath it rivers flow. Its fruit and its shade are everlasting,.
That is the reward for the righteous, and the consequence
for the disbelievers is the Fire.

                                  peace

For you how a tree is tasted is not acceptable.. But for me yes.. How can a Tree be tasted. What is tree? One whole entity? It includes from its root to top... It's not odd for me at all.. It's similar for me as " taste the lunch" what I eat and drink in a lunch is up to me.. Or "Enjoy the party" what I do in the party to enjoy May not be the same what everyone doing there.. Or same as saying " read the book" what I read how I read where I start how I understand is up to the person...

That is hilarious. I have never heard anybody saying "taste the lunch" but we can say "enjoy the lunch". Food is tasted and lunch is enjoyed. Party is enjoyed and not tasted. book is read and enjoyed but not tasted.

People whose mother tongue is not Arabic have to learn Arabic through one of the three sources

1- From someone who raised the person and communicated in Arabic

2- Classic Arabic Dictionaries with using Quran as the criteria to verify that meanings are in line
                                      with Quranic message

3- Tasreef-ul-ayat in Quran where words are repeated at different places to make their meanings
clear. When a word is used only once in the Quran then one has to see how natives used that
                                      word.

Human race is going towards destruction. Here human race is a plural but we use is (singular) for it. Does that make human race a single person?

There are many verses in Quran to prove adam means human race. I will quote one of these here

711 And We created you all (kum is used for plural more than two), then fashioned you all (kum is used for plural more than two), then told the angels Fall ye prostrate before Adam! (so adam is one man or representing kum in the verse?) And they fell prostrate, all save Iblis, who was not of those who make prostration.

what can I present you to understand..
I am sorry I had to explain all these simple things which everyone knows..

(uskun) is singular commanding to Adam and explained further as "you and your pair" because human race is made of males and females. So command is for both not for single.

(kula) is a command and is dual. How from a command in singular "uskun" is changed to "kula, shituma, taqraba and fatakuna" all commands in dual ?

My understanding "uskun" is referring to Adam, the mankind, so in singular and rest of the commands are in dual referring to male and female parts of mankind.

What incest? What haram? .. How do you make things haram while No Guidance is presented with Adam and of Noah Ibrahim Moses Jesus or Mohamed.. God's guidance is same since day one. It did not evolve over time. During Muhammad's time people were marrying two sisters at the same time which was wrong hence they were corrected.

How do you think human race expanded from a single pair?

                                        Novice salam,

If tasting the tree or my example are HILARIOUS for you, then you know better about the verse..And you have to consider all those quran translators (arabs and non arabs) should be hilarious, and remember they also most probably would have translated the verse using so called classic dictionaries or on their own knowledge.. no more comment on that part..
1770 We have honoured the Children of Adam and carried them on land and sea, and provided them with good things, and preferred them greatly over many of those We created.
531 And recite to them the story of Adam's two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice , and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said , "I will surely kill you." Said , "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous .
727 Children of Adam! Let not Satan tempt you as he brought your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their garments to show them their shameful parts. Surely he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you see them not. We have made the Satans the friends of those who do not believe.

Look at the above two verses.. 1770 talks about ?The Children of Adam? while 527 talks about ?The Two Sons of Adam?. Now Is Adam a Person (Male) or Adam A Community (Males) or (Males & Females) as per 1770?.. And in 527 ?The Two Sons of Adam?? Are these two Sons of Adam is of one Community (male or males&females) or of a single person called Adam (male)?
Look at verse 727.. it says ?O Children of Adam ? don?t let satan tempt you as he brought your PARENTS (dual).. Suppose Adam was a community (males or males& females) so we are Children of those community, if so Why God should make that community in the same verse as PARENTS in dual form? This parents should never be a dual form indicating to two persons (father and mother- are father and mother parents in any language) will they not be dual? Yes..But if Adam was a community the word PARENTS should be in PLURAL and not dual but in plural more than two?I love arabic language for sure?
Lets turn to your plural form of Adam?
710 And We have certainly established you upon the earth and made for you therein ways of livelihood. Little are you grateful.
711 And We have certainly created you, , and given you form. Then We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He was not of those who prostrated.
The above two verses explains about the entire human and Adam..Now your claim is that in 711 it is referred to Adam as plural (YOU) .. The YOU is not for Adam in the verse. . It is so clear from the verse before it.. 710? It says We have Certainly Established YOU ? and made for YOU livelihood?? Now the question is God created Adam before ESTABILISHING & PROVIDING LIVELIHOOD to (YOU) ? Or after? It is after.. Then why the particular verse comes before the creation of Adam..as stated 711 ? we have certainly CREATED YOU (PLURAL)? it talks of the entire human being.. not Adam..key here is ?Thzumma? translated as (Then).. This Thzumma in entire quran will not give a meaning as Then or After that etc etc.. If you take all Thzumma words in quran you will notice it.. It may come in between a verse or just after a verse and at the beginning of next verse.. by that we cannot deem that the next verse is talking about the previous verse by using Thzumma..Once you research you will find it clearly..

As per my understanding of you Novice.. you have taken Adam as a community but of Males? Right? You can?t say Adam are male and female Community. coz God calls in quran 235 separately saying Adam dwell You and Your wife? so the wife cannot be included as ADAM.. agree or not?
So you have taken Adam as Single Community with full of Males and not a single person and God created for these Adam (single Community of males) their wives.. So Single Community includes only Males. So when God refers as Children of Adam, will the children(men & women) of Adam be from mere Males Community? Coz you can?t conclude as per quran Adam as Males & Females community.. Answer me pls..
So your assumption is that God didn?t create a single man and single women and reproduce but many Men and many women then reproduce.. Right?. If ONE COMMUNITY (males) = ADAM then who are those women those one community married with? So Males are one community.. What are Females ?
3660?Did I not ordain for you, O Children of Adam, that you should not worship Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is a plain enemy to you.?
The wives of those One Community (Adam) are not the children of Adam..cannot be? Yeah or can be as per you? I don?t see allah addressing those wives of One Community in the verse 3660 but this verse extreme common to all human being who are in hell.. isn?t it?
So God never created a single person first but many males?
3875(Allah) said "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?"
What the above verse says.. I hardly see such a verse in quran.. saying that God creates by HIS both hands..but for adam he said? but we say like Qun fa yakoon (be and it is)..So You want to say that Allah created many number of men by His both hands? I don?t see God says same to the wives of those one community created by His both hands..
41 ?O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one SOUL and created from IT IT?S MATE and dispersed from BOTH of THEM many Men and Women?.... ?. ?.
So you want to say God Created Many Males (Adam) first and Then Many Females.. Does the above verse suit for that? Coz Your One Community is Adam and Females.. I hope you speak Arabic.. Does the word Nafs Wahid, Sza?jaha, Minhuma etc in this verse suit for many Males and Many women.. Explain this verse to me pls since you are serious about Adam being Community. God says from BOTH OF THEM (dual) dispersed Many Men and women.. I don?t see any Rib here.. those are stories.. God knows how he made the mate of Adam.. that?s mystery? I can see only from one couple the generation spread by this verse.. coz God called spread Rijal and nisa and not nafs either..
20115 ?And We made covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found in him no constancy.?
According to you God says to One Community (Adam-Males & Female) they didn?t have constancy.. but all singular words? No where in the whole quran God says one community is Adam.. it?s only your conjecture and conjecture is not equal to truth.. Even if you want to claim so you don?t have substantial evidence from Quran to put to argument and convince others..

Guidance from the day one is not same, if so no need of different books and different prophets.. Guidance kept on developing according to situation and the number communities.. Guidance adam got was not Noah got or ibrahim or Moses or isa or any other .. but one thing is same Submit to One God and not to associate anything with God.. but guidance have vast spectrum..
                                        God bless you..

You are in paradise, its your birthright.. but still you have lost it because you cannot enjoy the present moment here and now (as you used to do long ago, as an unknowing infant with open chakras, before your cultural conditioning and chemical dumbing). In case you havent noticed, most people are blind to matters of the heart, overthinking junkies, either living in the painful regrets of the past or in fear planning for the unknown future, instead of positively enjoying ourselves fully, right here and now )
