Need response. I considered crabs to be scavengers of the sea...I thought they all came to land and that made them haram. This turned out to be false. In middle eastern side, you will see crabs on land a lot, but not here. It is so rare that many people never came across one.

Same I believed to be true for oysters/clams.Beaches near me have none of them, but they are apparently caught from the water for food. Just a bit about the place

    1. These beaches are directly near the deeper side of the Pacific ocean. Waves seem overly violent.

    2. Annually, you may see only one big ship.

    3. Water sports aren't common because of this probably https//res.cloudinary.com/simpleview/image/fetch/f_auto,q_75/http//MontereyCounty.simpleviewcrm.com/images/listings/original_Sanctuary-Cruises-hump_lunge.jpg

    4. It feels as if the closest place specifically to our beach is..............................Japan rotfl

Seriously, it feels a bit too lonely here.

    1. Sand is free of shells. Try googling Del Monte Beach.

    2. It is the most bizarre side of the world. This ocean keeps defying what we humans know by sometimes making "PUBLIC" extremely weird unnamed creatures. This place is used for marine biology.

But if the shellfish groups aren't coming to these beaches won't that make them halal?

I don't get why they would be haram if they're on the land?
I wouldn't eat weird creatures tho including shrimp because they're bottom feeders.

I'm not right sure about this but I eat all seafood whether it's mussels, squid, clams, lobster or octopus.

You are viewing the issue from a 'weird' angle...

Me too, I'm a seafood freak..

Having said that, I despised how they actually prepare the dishes, specifically lobster, they boiled them ALIVE!

Kudos to the Switz which has declared boiled alive lobster as HARAM!

            Peace All.
I do not see anywhere in Qoran making eating of seafood that are not harmful to us haram.

Qoran says from the sea and rivers "Taakulun lahman Tarian..." you eat tender meats.
Qoran has specified the four types of food that we should not eat. Nothing else should be added by us.

Of course common sense dictates that all contaminated/bad food should not be consumed.
            My opinion.
            GOD bless you all.
            Peace.

who is saying and with what proof you have for this ... secondly if it were so , these fishes vanish foer decades , they dont exist anymore cause otherwise they werent ancestor anymore

                wikipedia https//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domestic_pig

The ancestor of the domestic pig is the wild boar

if the Quran says its allowed, who are you to take this in doubt ?? ( i am not trying to disrespect you) ...

May Allah guide us to the straight path

                  pace,

                  i like to entertain you.

"For those not yet convinced that hippos and whales are first cousins, a UC Berkeley researcher has the definitive proof.
A group of four-footed mammals that flourished worldwide for 40 million years and then died out in the ice ages is the missing link between the whale and its not-so-obvious nearest relative, the hippopotamus.
The conclusion by University of California, Berkeley, post-doctoral fellow Jean-Renaud Boisserie and his French colleagues finally puts to rest the long-standing notion that the hippo is actually related to the pig or to its close relative, the South American peccary. In doing so, the finding reconciles the fossil record with the 20-year-old claim that molecular evidence points to the whale as the closest relative of the hippo. "

it?s okay ist not harsh, well the qurans says that, i agree but the quran does not say the sea is an" all you can eat "place.

It says for example there are animals to ride and animals for milk and to eat.If you can care for the animal you can eat it under some restrictions of course so for example an elephant needs so much food you cant handle it(except you feed them in a industrial way).

If you can?t grow a fish in a aquarium or aquaculture then you shouldn?t it a fish of that size like a whale.

thats my humble opinion,if you like to eat whales or dolphins go ahead if you think the quran allows it.
