    Peace Novice.
Your explanation of 835 has no meaning , look again

And their following (salat) was nothing but meaningless sounds (root mm kf ww &#1608 and pusuit/attention (root d dl y used at 806 so you pursue/give attention to him)
so taste the punishment for you used to hide (the truth).

First following what? you omitted "Inda Al Beyt- all together.

Thanks brother for pointing out my omission. Let me add indal baiti

And their following (salat) was nothing but meaningless sounds (root mm kf ww &#1608 and pusuit/attention (root d dl y used at 806 so you pursue/give attention to him) indal-baiti.
so taste the punishment for you used to hide (the truth).

So they were only following Inda Al Beyt? What about elsewhere? Can you see the problem brother?

That is your assumption brother. Verse is saying that their ritual...their salat...their following... indal baiti was meaningless.

This Beyt is identified elsewhere as "Maquamu Ibrahim" and they took "Mussalla" in it . i.e a Prayer place.
    2125
We have rendered the Beyt a focal point for the people, and a safe sanctuary. You may use Maquamu Abraham as a prayer house. We commissioned Abraham and Ismail "You shall purify Beyti for those who visit, those who live there, and those who bow and prostrate."

Is Al-bait a physical place or can it be taken as a system as per context?

Is Maqame Ibraheem a physical place?

    5546
wa liman khafa maqama rabbihi jannatan

Is maqama rabbihi a physical place in 5546?

It will keep on creating more questions. So lets stick to the basic question.

How do you take salat=physical prayer and if so then where is the verse in Quran giving details of this physical ritual?

If no verse then how to perform this physical ritual without blindly following elders?

      Peace Novice.
So you are saying salat in 835 is a ritual prayer or what are you saying here?
      Quote
That is your assumption brother. Verse is saying that their ritual...their salat...their following... indal baiti was meaningless.

And does that mean Salat devoted to GOD Alone is also meaningless? Why does Qoran instruct to "Aquimi Salat"?
To follow what? You know follow in Arabic is "Ittabihu"!!!
You know brother "Maquam" can be both physical and abstract(system...) The Maquam Abraham is Al Beyt the context of the verses indicate to me it is a physical place and a system
      2127
As Abraham raised the foundations of the Beyt, together with Ismail (they prayed) "Our Lord, accept this from us. You are the Hearer, the Omniscient.

Just like Masjid can also be a physical place as well as non physical depending on the context and sometimes it holds both meanings, like
      2114
Who are more evil than those who boycott God's masjids, where His name is commemorated, and contribute to their desertion? These ought not to enter therein except fearfully. They will suffer in this life humiliation, and will suffer in the Hereafter a terrible retribution.

Let me give this brief history from Qoran
The practices of our Deen(including Salat) have been preserved in their basic form since the time of Abraham despite the efforts of corruption and distortion by idol worshipers and disbelievers. Each messenger who came after Abraham purified and followed these practices in accordance with God?s will, making sure that all practices are devoted to God alone.
      1435
Recall that Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a peaceful land, and protect me and my children from Nabudu idols.

      1436
"My Lord, they have misled so many people. As for those who follow me, they belong with me. As for those who disobey me, You are Forgiver, Most Merciful.

      1437
"Our Lord, I have settled part of my family in this plantless valley, at Your Sacred House. Our Lord, they are to AquimiSalat, so let throngs of people converge upon them, and provide for them all kinds of fruits, that they may be appreciative.

      ...
      1440
"My Lord, make me one who consistently Muqueem Salat, and also my children. Our Lord, please answer my prayers.

      Followed down the line
And mention in the scripture Ismail. He was truthful when he made a promise, and he was a messenger prophet. He used to enjoin his family to observe the Salat and theZakat; he was acceptable to his Lord. (1954-55)

We inspired Moses and his brother. "Maintain your homes in Egypt for the time being, turn your homes into synagogues, and AQUIMU SALAT . Give good news to the believers.

She pointed to him. They said, "How can we talk with an infant in the crib?" (The infant spoke and) said, "I am a servant of God. He has given me the scripture, and has appointed me a prophet. He made me blessed wherever I go, and enjoined me to AQUIMI SALAT and the Zakat for as long as I live.

      Down the line to Mohammed
      Muhammad A Follower of Abraham*

      16123
Then we inspired you (Muhammad) to follow the religion of Abraham,* the monotheist; he never was an idol worshiper.

Simply that all religious practices, which came to us through Abraham, were intact at the time of Muhammed except what Qoran corrected.
Salat was already established and taught from generation to generation . Actually 835 (Salatuhum Inda Al Beyt stems all the way back to Abraham. But obviously "idol worship/corruption entered it. It was not sincere and devoted to GOD Alone.
Brother you are assuming Sunnis and others invented Salat and you are throwing the bath water with the baby in it.
      GOD bless you.
      Peace.

        Salam, brothers and sisters!

The root means "someone who works for his/her Rabb ". And when the Abd is given a provision Rizq from the Rabb/the Nourisher then the Abd acknowledges the worth of his/her Rabb (*worship) and gives thanks to the Rabb and/or praises his/her Rabb.

Given below are a few Ayats from Al-Quran for your reference

(002172) O you all who believe! Eat/chew you all from made good-looking what We have provided you all and be grateful you all to Allah if you all only Him you all are serving/wroking for.

(016073) And they are working for from other than Allah which not they possess for them any provision from the skies and the land anything, and not they are able.

(017030) Indeed, your Nourisher extends the provision for whom He wills, and decreases. Indeed, He is with His workers one Ever-Aware, one Ever-Seeing.

(042019) Allah (is) Ever-Graceful with His workers; He gives provision (to) whom He wills. while He (is) the Powerful, the All-Mighty.

(050011) A provision for the workers, and We give life with it (i.e., water from the Sky - ref. 5009) a land dead. Like that the coming forth/going out.

Note that most of the translations/interpretations have used the following 03 meanings for the root

        1. Worship/worshipper (*The original meaning of this word is ?worthiness, acknowledgement of worth)
        2. Serve/servant (Servant means ?a person who performs duties for others, especially a person employed in a house on domestic duties or as a personal attendant.?)
        3. Slave (Slave means a person who is forced to work for someone. Original meaning ?captive?)
I like to go with the First one since no one is employed or captivated by Allah (S.W.T). His provisions are for all and free of cost. When we give thanks to Him, we become Abd-Allah/Abdullah.

Since it is only Allah who has created us and those before us and He nourishes all of us by His grace. I acknowledge His worthiness and give thanks to Him and praise Him. I do worship Him. He is THE ONLY ONE who can benefit me and who can harm me.

(025055) And/while they are worshipping of from other than Allah what not profits them and not harms them, and was The Concealer on his Nourisher's back (as a supporter).

(019065) The Nourisher (of) the skies and the land and whatever (is) between both of them, so worship Him and be constant for His worship. Do you know for Him a given name?

(040060) And said your Nourisher, Call upon Me; I respond surely you. Indeed, those who they are seeking greatness about My worship soon they are entering Jahannum they all abjected.`

(043064) Indeed, Allah, He (is) my Nourisher and your Nourisher, so worship Him. This (is) a Path which is desired to establish.`

I will try to share my understandings about Dua and Salat later, In Sha Allah!

        May Allah bless you all.

          Peace Imran.

I claimed that my understanding of Qoran gives 5 "Aquimi Salat" and I gave verses, I never mixed 17 raka with 19?.

Please bring what I said exactly(quote it) ,then we can discuss it.
          GOD bless you.
          Peace.

          PEACE brother GL
RED ok thanks thats what i was thinking ur understanding is its five salat as per Quran.it was about the numbers of sala not about raka.

GREEN. about this equation of raka i m not sure where that post is or its either by you or by bahman. or may b in some articles i will find it later and will share with you.

Thanks for acknowledging that Bait could be a physical place as well as a system. Is your claim (that AL-bait in 2127 is a physical place) in line with the verse?

                  2127

Your translation for is "of the bait" whereas verse says "from the bait".

How can one raise the foundation from the bait?

                  God bless you.

The meaning of this root are to follow closely.

I agree with your definition "to follow closely" so how do we follow closely?
It would be helpful if "you" would translate 4102

                        How do you Aquimi Salat?
Abraham did it (was taught it) ,Abraham in turn taught his children ,who taught their children...From one generation to the next
                        2173

GOD taught the Straight path(Commands) and Iquami Salat And....
The corrections of what was corrupted was in turn given by subsequent messengers after Abraham.

You also find the positions of Iquami Salat mentioned in the Quran, including the standing position (339, 399), the bowing and prostration positions (Rukoo' and Sajood) (243, 343, 9112, 2226, 2277).
                        243
You shall Aquimu Salat and give the Zakat, and bow down with those who bow down.

You see people doing Salat brother. Do you think they learnt it from Hadiths? Bring me the detailed of how to do salat from Hadiths or any other source! You may bring bits and bobs but never details of how to perform the salat step by step!!!!
So yes, You "Irkahu Maha Al Rakiheen". i.e learnt from people seeing people do it.

You can say in Arabic "I ate a piece from the fruit" or "I ate a piece of the fruit" both valid.
Now, you give me your take of the verse to compare .

actually i would like to say the same thing what novice said atleast read the article of WAKAS. as he covered all those points regarding sala as per quranic method of understanding. u already said u take less interest in watching videos nd reading articles and u only use quran.but wakas didnt claim anything by himself he just collect all those related things what a reader usually loooking for when they research about SALA.

anyway lets talk on this specific verse 2238

Guard your alsalats(plural) and alsalat -al- wasta. and devote/obey/dutiful to your God. 2238.

now at this point corpus claimed alsalat -al - wasta is (single )main/important sala.

some said its plural also like collection of lot of sala ( may b ch107 give a hint) to some of the wasta salats.

in this way traditional scholar cant interpret in this way.
maintain with care the prayers and middle prayers. ( u can urself see how carelessly somebody interpret it even the starting of verse have three words).

ok btw what in that verse u wana ask ?

we cant use DUA(pray) in SALA verses.

                                    peace GL,

                                    Peace hawk.
My understanding this Salat is physical.

4102 is saying to a group of soldiers at war that it is fine if they shorten their prayer by taking turn praying after the leader always leaving part of the group vigilant/watching over the group doing the physical Salat.

This is made clear in here-4103 ? ..
When you are at peace and secure(war is over) Aquimi Salat at the specific times as per the norm.
It does not make any sense to me otherwise.
Let s see though what others can offer from their understanding.
                                    GOD bless you.
                                    Peace.

Parts in bold are not in the Arabic.

                                    peace Hawk,

Since you apparently do not like articles, this could explain why you ask poor questions such as physical or non-physical.

                                    See 4102 analysis here

                                      Peace Novice.
                                      How do you Aquimi Salat?
Abraham did it (was taught it) ,Abraham in turn taught his children ,who taught their children...From one generation to the next
                                      2173

                                      Thank you brother GL

So you learned your "Aqimi Salat" from your elders and not from Quran.

                                      2170

And when it is said to them follow what God has revealed they say nay we follow what we found our elders on.........

                                      3121

And when it is said to them follow what God has revealed they say nay we will follow what we find our elders on .....

GOD taught the Straight path(Commands) and Iquami Salat And....
The corrections of what was corrupted was in turn given by subsequent messengers after Abraham.

Where does God teach ritual prayer in Quran?
Where does Quran details the correction to the corruption in performing salat?

You also find the positions of Iquami Salat mentioned in the Quran, including the standing position (339, 399), the bowing and prostration positions (Rukoo' and Sajood) (243, 343, 9112, 2226, 2277).

Brother you have not provided any verse giving details of ritual prayer like how many rakat, what to say etc. etc

                                      243
You shall Aquimu Salat and give the Zakat, and bow down with those who bow down.

You see the problem here brother. Red part above is separate from Aqimi salat.

Brother you see the contradiction. Can you show me the detail of how to do salat from Quran You may bring bits and bobs but never details of how to perform salat step by step!!!!
Yes you learn it from elders and people around you and not from Quran and God has said follow what is revealed by Him and not people around you.

                                      GOD bless you.

So what is Aquimi Salat according to you ?And why 56?
So if your elders follow Qoran you do not follow it?

Brother,I am satisfied Qoran instruct us to Aquimi Salat the way Abraham did and to "Irkau Maha Al Rakiheen"? How do you do that?

                                        GOD bless you .
