I clearly said Salat has nothing to do with Ibada.. If you read my posts I am consistent with the following understanding from Qoran1-Ibada is following GOD s Sirat Al Mustaqueem which are the good morals and good deeds.
2- Aquimi Salat among other things like Sawum, Zakat,Sabr... is the help that we need to stay on the straight path with looking after our real self(soul) to try and win over our desires and selfish needs for our body,The discussion that followed was what is Aquimi Salat? I was then giving my view on it. I was not relating it to Ibada or sunnis or Zorastrians or any other sect.
Just to clarify. I was giving my view and asking questions about other views. You are entitled to disagree with me like I disagree with you and others.
We both state our views ,question each other and move on.

4101 says to shorten which is shortening of the session in which "what to follow is decided".
Quran provide us complete guidance. In a war situation a commander has a duty to make war strategy. People can sway away with emotions so a commander also reminds the soldiers what God commands in such situations. It is not only deciding war strategy but also reminding God's Law in such situations.
Once decided, this strategy is what needs to be followed closely. Is it that difficult to understand?
Is this not saying you have to have a session to decide what "to followcolsely"???? You mean it is not in Qoran already step by step? Or do you just want me to provide the" step by step verses" for my interpretation?

It is something every individual does, A leader does it for a group/s- Aquamta lahum Salat-
It is something that can be shorten in war.
It is something that you continue to do after the war.
It is something that is prescribed at certain times...
All of it cannot mean different things in different situations. It is the same thing each individual does at all times in war or peace, but can be shorten during the war for those fighting.Plain and simple and makes a lot of sense. ..Aquimi Salat consistently means the same thing in all the verses that mention it. It does not mean different things according to the context.
There is only one way you do Aquimi Salat according to Qoran, you stand, you bow and you prostrate. Dedicated to GOD Alone. This is the only meaning that is consistent with all the verses that mention it.
As shown already, "follow closely" does not fit in certain verses. One has to be honest and tries something else if they do not believe in a physical prayer.
I have not found any other meaning that fits all the verses so far. But I cannot fit "follow closely" as discussed here.

I will number your points 1 to 7
1-GOD made only the earth habitable for us and with its current day and night timing , Since we do not live on the moon or mars as yet there is no problem. Those who travel there do what they can, when they can(Farijalan Aw Rukbana- i.e do it in their mind, like those who are physically not capable or busy with other matters they cannot do it here on earth.2-Similarly in space station. Like sawum and other things we can only do our best in certain places even on earth.
3- Majority of people do not live in the north or south pole. Those who do make their salat according to their daily habits(When do they have their daily body meals for example...) and do what they can. GOD is aware of them and left his deen easy for us. Fattaqu Allah Ma Istatatum- Do the best you can.
4- People want to exalt others and make idols of them. GOD is not to blame for this. They think they are gods some people or others take them as high and mighty. GOD does not require anything from us. Salat, for those who study Qoran, is food for our soul. We give our body 4 or 5 meals a day, Why should we not feed our soul? Only our benefit ,GOD is no need of anything from anyone.
5-There is no named prayer, There are specific times of the day . A window from each part of the day to find 5 minutes in that part of the day to feed our real self.
6- Our physical body does gymnastics and yoga. Standing, bowing and prostrating helps you and your physical body as exercise.
Yes brother it is a very good exercise to relax and concentrate your mind, try it, see for yourself?7- Everyone who is doing physical prayer,ask them where they got it from. Amazing how they do the same thing. Perfect preservation down the generations if you ever see one.
Brother, GOD looks at the sincerity, obedience and intention. The details we worry about are trivial. GOD gives certainty when you show real Islam in your state of mind.

4101-103 is commanding the leader to establish As-salat for those who are in war situation.
So in the context of war the leader can call group from his army to decide their position in the war in a short manner reminding them the Quranic guidance in such situations,History narrations tell that the prophet advised a group of his army to stay on a strategic hill top but they disobeyed the command and it resulted in losing the battle. I am not citing this example saying that history is 100% true but to give an example.

BUT, I personally and logically feel every debate should have winning and losing or a draw?.otherwise there is no point of debating wasting the time.. Coz if the debate is for a purpose either to find the truth or knowledge then by convincing once group by another is key.. if it ends up in a draw it shows both parties are in a dilemma and the topic is beyond the capacity of both?
In court if the debate of both parties doesn?t not end in winning or losing then the Judge will never be able to make his decision? That?s horrible? Whatever the topic is one is supporting and one is negating? but both cannot be the solution? so winning or losing is very imperative?
By winning or losing the truth will be exposed? For example If I am exposed of any of my view by others by arguing with me comprehensively then I am stuck and I personally have to surrender to the view of the others coz they brought the better solution than me so I was blinded with my opinion..God asks us to argue, but definitely with the truth only God asks us to argue and not taking the side of wrong? but we think we are on the right side and arguing in support of it but when in the process of argument the we find out that is not the truth or truth.. so God?s plan is to make me guided through that argument?
But there can be sharing knowledge between people that is not argument or debate? but what we see here commonly in this forum is not sharing knowledge but sheer argument based on each others opinions? So such arguments need winning and losing or draw for the sake of knowing what is actually acceptable based on quran?. After all most of the topic is based on quran? what is best rather than defeating the false views..

That situation along with those busy with emmergencies /astronauts, people in mars or jupiter, is already taken care of by exemption in Qoran- Doing your best in certain situation about Salat, Sawum, Zakat... is accounted for in Qoran- Do you want the verses ?
You see the logic of excuses in our human thinking?4-We are not trees or birds or... Our sujood can be both physical and abstract us humans.
5-Yes I do .Already discussed this numerous times and provided the verses that in my opinion Qoran instructs me to do this.
There is no verse that names Salat. Salat are window times within a part of the day. The verse that names Salat Fajr and Isha has a different subject and context it is not about naming of any Salat.
6- Again the one direction required for everyone is common sense and a focal point . How can a group doing Salat together face different directions? The direction to any place on earth can be determined from any single point on the earth.(How would a GPS work?)
7-Actually if you do the maths, the majority of the world do not Aquimi Salat? But that is irrelevant. What is Aquimi Salat is the relevant part.
The bemnefit is felt or otherwise by the individual acting a certain task. Different priorities leads to different benefits or otherwise.

The word "salat" mean something you follow closely. In Quran when "Aqimi salat" comes we have to see what commands are given just before it. 4101-103 are in context of war so here "following closely" has to do with army and its functions.
Similarly in 2238 context is commands for marriage and divorce etc. which become salawat to be followed closely. the central salat is not a ritual called Asar Prayer but the main focus of the instructions which is to keep your duty towards women in the society while obedient to Allah (by following his commands)

Salat involves spending time to Learn Good values.
Prepare ourselves to learn and accept God.
Time spent to think and learn about Goodness messages.
Reminding about God and moral values.If rituals help is a question to ask our selves, say we spend our whole time on worldly pleasures working, salat comes in where we spend time to contemplate and learn whats good and bad and whether we are in the right path and Zakat is the ways we do to purify ourselves. Here the ritual is we assign ourselves some time to being free from our schedule and also clean our body so we are in better state to understand.

Do you think people understand what they read or listen in ritual prayer? Majority do not know Arabic. People have chosen few short suras which are repeatedly recited. They have their account books and ritual is for filling this account book and earning return (thawab).

4101-103 is Salat (that is to say one of the meaning applicable as Prayer).. remember in my understanding Aquim salat wa?athuz zakat together is never prayer or charity in the entire quran.. but salat (prayer) is mentioned in very few verses in the quran?
Let?s see how it is in these verses based on the argument saying salat here is closely following and these particular 03 verses as they refer as War tactic to follow closely and not Salat(Prayer)?
4101 First of all it is mentioned as JOURNEY/TRAVELLING and not singled out as WAR Expedition ?. War or war expedition has other Arabic words ? okay?The condition of ?IF YOU FEAR?? but point to think is IF YOU NOT FEAR though you on a JOURNEY may be not applicable ? So this could be a period where there is fear most probably coz there could be disharmony among the people coz of hostile conditions among the groups of the society and probably hatred towards believers who are emerging in the society as a threat to disbelievers faith? Then comes the SHORTENING THE SALAT and refers it as ?LA Junaha? No blame? what if you do not fear while on journey? Does the Normal Salat applicable still or the Shortened salat??? Yes Complete Salat, coz condition is FEAR..So if no fear then ?JUNAHA? During a hostile time traveling is always risky and affliction from the other party is much expectable.. but it is not war and it is not the style of wars in the older generations?This JOURNEY could be by few persons or cluster on the road passing the disbelievers stronghold but still opted to pass through.. Point to think is Quran has not mentioned ?When you are heading to face the Enemy? but simply when you are on a Journey.. Here Warriors or Forces not mentioned as afflict you but only mentioned that Disbelievers may afflict you and they are open enemy.. this is common if you read chapters such 8 and 9? No sign of war these 3 verses..?
4102 ?. When YOU are among them? Singular YOU.. who could that ?YOU? be?? Is it the Head of the Group of those who are waging the war or is it specifically address to the Messenger of this book who is on a journey accompanying his companions or normal believers? That also When you are ? if not, I mean if ? When you are not among them? is not stated, then who will do that part? If the ?You? is Commander in the War, then there is no point of saying if you are among them?a war without commander.. that?s defeat? Here also same salat is involved? If one claim this is war strategy discussion among them.. I failed to see any instruction of war strategy in the verses.. but only standing and precaution? Precautionary steps are much wanted thing during a war and that?s not an alien thing to be explained to a warrior as instruction.. warrior cannot be a warrior if he doesn?t have precautions ?. But if this is a salat (prayer simple translation) then standing and having to have precautionary steps by one group and others waiting till they end the salat is much required instruction? coz this salat revelation is new to the believers and they were not aware of it before? Salat is always an individual act though mingled with others, and here also it was an individual act but in two groups so that attention of one group will remain on those who are devoted with time fixed act which cannot be missed out on any given time unless beyond one?s capacity? in the end it is not the basic way of doing salat, it was only given as instruction on a state of fear due to possible hostile situations in which your security and safety is under threat..
And further, says if you are affected by Rain or sick no blame if you keep the weapons down? Okay.. curios point here is keeping the weapon down if rains or sick but not stated as IF YOU ARE INJURED.. INJURY IS MISSING IN A WAR.. that?s beyond imagination?most appropriate is injury but God didn?t use..Coz it was a Journey.. but sick.. while on a common journey in rain the possibilities of getting sick is no need to explain? but if it is a war getting injured is unavoidable? But why weapon? does the weapon makes one to deduce it as war? NO?? very crucial? as per the verses it is very clear the situation is not that peaceful and still people need to travel for their livelihood?having weapons for self defense is much appropriate? but who are sick to hold them is always uncomfortable? Why you need sick people who can?t even hold the weapon to listen to war strategies that also standing? If instead of Sick if anyone consider it Injury then it is blatant war crime to keep the injured standing to get ready for fight who can?t even hold a weapon.....Not mentioned shields but only weapon.. what is that weapon one cannot hold while can still hold the shield which is a must in war.. Baggage is a clear cut thing of those who normally on a journey and not those who wage war? this is clear that the disbelievers may attack ambush and loot you utilizing the prevailing hostile condition.. In war if you lose anyhow they would take the booties?.You don?t need to worry about booties while the war is underway.. anyway booty is not the word here but baggage ? It shows they may loot even without attack you if you are negligible while salat..

So when You have accomplished or completed the Salat? it is not mentioned as the salat is completed but used as ?when YOU(plural) have completed the salat? if it was a commander who is giving war strategies he only should complete it and not the one who is listening to it.. that further proves by the verse ?once they submitted?? it?s clear it is a time fixed prayer done individually but as a group for the sake of security?
The next strange point is once the salat is done (war strategies are closely followed) people were asked to remember God standing, sitting and on sides? that?s so pathetically weird and abnormal.. after they had the strategies worked out they lying on their sides and remembering God.. Then what is the purpose of having all the precautionary steps to have a war strategy in the middle of nowhere and that also in rain?..just to lying down and sitting down ?. Once the strategy is done.. that?s a very weak commander? There is no mentioning mainly one group sitting down or lying down and other group be vigilant once the Salat is over? use your wits people? Lying down on sides is the worse part in a war situation I can possibly imagine?
And the verse continues no sign of war is stated... but it says again..When you are secure establish salat?again war strategies when they are secure ( secure means war is ended in favor of believers)....It is not stated once the war is ended but once the salat is done.. that?s totally funny? it?s clear.. they could have been in a place which was not safe but still time of salat is arrived so took the precautions and performed it? and rested with the remembrance of God in standing and sitting and lying to sides.. having rest/break, that?s understandable in a tiresome long journeys that also in middle east. And further instructions are given saying that Salat is on BELIEVERS is time fixed.. if this is a war situation and the people who involved must be called differently? best appropriate way to say that ?salat on warriors is time fixed at least according to the situation? and not on believers? coz clearly in wars not only Believers but also Hypocrites etc also participated that quran proves..what is the relation generally with believers and war strategies? are the believers only make war strategies? Is actually War strategies on fixed time or according to situations? What is the use of having war strategies At Fajr or Wusta or Isha?
In fact what are those war strategies to closely follow were instructed by God in these verses? Or if Mohamed was there Mohammed himself received war strategies apart from Quran from God and it was presented to others? You mean to say Mohamed receives messages other than quran as war strategies? What is the message here to follow closely as war strategy? If it is a war and the one who is leading doesn?t know what war strategy to make? Suppose if it is a war and Mohamed was the commander he would have made the decision himself coz we don?t see any war strategy in the sentences.. So if they know how to make war strategy why to teach by another about precautions and baggage and keep weapon down.. Are these precautionary and standing and safeguarding baggage war strategies????? come on give me a break?But this is salat almost devoting oneself and may forget what happens surrounded him or her so clear instructions given be precautious though you are doing salat and be vigilant about your baggage.. as well keep weapons down it?s not a war and you are sick?coz salat is not to miss.. but when secure no need of precautionary position but you can do salat in freedom as instructed by God..?
Finally I deduce based on the verses, there is no war at all? but it is revealed for hostile conditions to be vigilant and still perform salat and shorten if required based on conditions..
Salat is Standing positions only that?s very clear from quran as I earlier posted and salat involves time and salat involve uttering which is to applaud the Lord? Salat needs cleanliness and salat needs humbleness.. All these are mentioned in quran? if one says no then he or she is biased? Those who claim there is no physical salat has not even bothered respond my earlier threads?God Bless us with what is meant as guidance..

The Aquimi Salat has one meaning in all the verses containing Aquimi Salat.
And the preparation for all the Aquimi Salat, rgardless of context, is 56. You do 56 before you Aquimi Salat.Look ,Zaccariah was on his own . He was not discussing any context with anyone else,he was Quaimun Yusalli Fi Al Mihrab.
He was doing Aquimi Salat- physical prayer- by himself brother.

4101-103 is commanding the leader to establish As-salat for those who are in war situation.
So in the context of war the leader can call group from his army to decide their position in the war in a short manner reminding them the Quranic guidance in such situations,History narrations tell that the prophet advised a group of his army to stay on a strategic hill top but they disobeyed the command and it resulted in losing the battle. I am not citing this example saying that history is 100% true but to give an example.
