Is there any advice for loneliness in the Qur'an
-
Peace
I tried to find the word loneliness in the Qur'an but couldn't find it...maybe I haven't searched enough or not read enough translations?
Loneliness can sometimes be a tricky problem to deal with. Often when we're lonely we are alone, haven't spoken to someone for a long time (or even a few hours)...but then, sometimes we talk to people and spend time with them for hours whilst feeling lonely or feeling extreme loneliness a short while afterwards...
How would loneliness be tackled by a believer/ submitter?

Why not see it as a blessing?
In fact, we are never alone, there is always God, that is, everything we can have. Feeling lonely may be a bad feeling, which is different from bein alone. One can be alone but not lonely because in fact one likes to be alone. Like everything, the problem is when we have too much o it, be it company, be it solitude.
But being alone in itself can be a blessing in disguise for those who feel lonely. It is an oportunity to be with themselves. We always have things to solve with ourselves. We must thank God for solitude, benefit from it and so we will not feel lonely.
Another question is when we feel lonely in the sense that nobody seems to share anything with us, that nobody we may be with understands how we think or feel, that we are out of lace among "normal" people. But that is something different.

Peace Sarah...
There is no lonliness in life.. Tbh for me no... I am a bachelor... Still I don't feel I am living lonely... If the expectations of the day is high only you will feel lonely when it doesn't happen...
BTW how come you can feel lonely in this fast paced life style.... Hard to figure out time for lots of work and still you feel lonely...Remembrance of God won't make you feel lonely....
If your loneliness is just coz you don't have a partner in life other than friends and relay then... It may be with a reason...
I am really thankful to God that He didn't give me a partner in my early 20s.... So I would never have been the same person I am now... The freedom and time and lack of responsibility in life made me to learn the Quran.... It pleases me where I read be alone or in cluster....
When God has created a lovely world in for the your eyes it is visible and how come you are lonely....
Take it easy.... Enjoy everything what you doing... Don't expect from anyone anything... But keep hope in God.... Anticipations will lead to lonliness.....
I wonder my answer suffice s you in comparison to your real life...
But simply take life easy.... That's it... -
Sister Sarah.
If I am alone, I take it as a good opportunity to read/study Qoran.
Or get involved in tidying, like a room, a garden, filing...etc
Or watch my favourite, show, film...
getting myself to do something keeps me busy and takes loneliness away from me.
GOD bless you.
Peace. -

The whole Quran talks about Allah who is one/only/alone/unique. He does not have a female companion (6101) nor he has any parents or sons. Still He has gifted us many relations in this world
_
025054 It is He Who has created man from water then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage for thy Lord has power (over all things).
025054 And He it is Who hath created man from water, and hath appointed for him kindred by blood and kindred by marriage; for thy Lord is ever Powerful. So, if you have blood ties and/or marital relationships then you are not alone at all. However, when you are lonely or feel lonliness, remember your God much because
013028 "... for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction."Peace!
