It seems superficial but all it really is is promoting a type of product and brand right? And if a female were to post stuff like selfies and what she eats or something, that's just her expressing herself and being the 'model' for the product...
Would that be a halal way to make some money?

nature of business,
honesty about marketing,
honesty towards work,
satisfaction about customers,
follow lawfully,
pay the due fee of using things like electricity/gas ( some people do doddgy ways)these all factors made money/anything halal/legal. or illegal/haram.
Your conscience will tell you prior to READ/listen anything about the WRONGDOING. its called a voice of ?self? based on pure logic and the rejector of that voice, another side of same picture both paths designed in you its YOU who will gona select the path. reacting upon your conscience most of the times tradition/majority overcomes on conscience. with the factor of fear.

Bukhari and friends made it haram. At least 10 hadiths forbid images. This gives a strong reason to make this rule compulsory for the sects. But umm, not sure why that's not the case hmm

But even a lot of non Muslims these days make fun of women who take selfies and post it online- you probably know they get called attention seekers etc. and some say when a woman does this, she's objectifying herself...what do you think, is it objectification?

its social media that give a fire to fuel in attention seeking a web of inter-connection a gift of 21st century.
