What qualifies as sorcery?

The following from the Quran mentions witchcraft/ sorcery
The opening word in Sura 113 is "Say", this tells us that we should utter the words in this Sura in order to seek God's protection from all evil. We seek God's protection against all evil among what He created (1132), against witchcraft (1134), and against the harmful power of envy (1135)
Now, what would be some examples that aren?t that obvious about what constitutes forbidden sorcery?

They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut.But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife.But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah.s permission.And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them.And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter.And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew! (Surah Al-Baqara, 102)

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْفَلَقِ .11301١
You the Messenger advise people to pronounce "I seek the protection of the Lord of effecting and the Effect —
مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ .11302٢
From the disquiet, disequilibrium and disconcerting effect momentarily emerging from physical realm which He the Exalted has created —
وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٛ إِذَا وَقَبَ .11303٣
And from the disquiet-irritation-trouble and disconcerting effect of a freezer-darkener when it has sunk —
وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٟثَٟتِ فِـى ٱلْعُقَدِ .11304٤
And from the disquiet, emotional incitation and destabilization effect by the enchanting and fascinating whispers and inspiration in/regarding the solemn pledges and undertakings —
وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٛ إِذَا حَسَدَ .11305٥
And from the disquiet and irritation effect of an Envier when he desired to snatch away all from me".

RED only used once in QURAN possibole meanings = (inspire or whisper into the mind)
GREEN cross ref with quran suggest that word as knot/tie ( like in a marriage contract) or making a straight thread knoted to make it complicate..verse has nothing to do with MAGIC...

i dnt know from where did you get that interpretation there are lot of translations available in market so i suggest you to go back and look what you are hunting.. i will help you again make the complicate simple for you brother D

Solomon never disbelieved but the satanic people did. They taught people while nothing was revealed through the two angels ?Haaroot and Maaroot? in Babylon. (The rumor further stated that) they used to warn people, ?Both of us are only a temptation, therefore do not reject God.? And that the people learned from both of them how to create discord between a man and his wife. They could harm none against the Divine laws. And what people learned from them only harmed them instead of benefiting them. People must know that whoever indulges in this trade (the so-called occult sciences) will have no share in the Hereafter. Miserable indeed is what they sell their ?self? for. They would know only if they used their intellect.
in my childhood i learn some sahar of cards from my uncle who was sharper in cards.. i still do it and people think i m doing a magic i witness everyone have their eyes hypno like this or like this o only few told me you did something we know its not magic u tricked us but they were unable to catch due to the QUICKNESS of my hands coz i have practised it over years.. but the successful SAHIR is the one who never let his trick expose these type of magic exist in every time in past and present...

The entire story of Haaroot Maaroot was a fabrication. Magic, amulets, ghoul, demon-possession, exorcism, witchcraft, evil eye, fortune telling, astrology, palm reading, clairvoyance, knowledge of the future, Voodoo, are nothing but conjecture. These things can neither harm nor benefit anyone since nothing happens in the Universe contrary to the immutable Divine laws in nature. However, superstitions can harm people by becoming self-fulfilling prophecies

With regard to 2102 study about Illusion and delusion would help.
وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَا تَتْلُوا۟ ٱلشَّيَـٟطِيـنُ عَلَـىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَـٟنَۖ
Moreover, know about their past conduct they wilfully inclined towards pursuing that which the Satanic minded used to spread-communicate to people in the kingdom of Sulie'maan .

وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٛ حَـتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَـحْنُ فِتْنَةٚ فَلَا تَكْـفُـرْۖ
And they both (Ha'root and Ma'root) used not to teach to any single person unless both would have respectively made this claim before his client saying "We are but the skilled-specialists; therefore you should not refuse to learn it."
فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْـهُـمَا مَا يُـفَـرِّقُونَ بِهِۦ بَيْـنَ ٱلْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِۦۚ
Thereupon, interested people purposefully agreed to learn from one of them such techniques through which they could cause seclusion between the targeted husband and the wife of him.
وَمَا هُـم بِضَآرِّينَ بِهِۦ مِنْ أَحَدٛ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِۚ
-- But merely by attaining this knowledge they could certainly not become injurer for anyone except if Allah's prior consent/permission was also there --.
وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُـمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُـمْۚ
And they purposefully self learnnt that which only caused them loss but not profited them.
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمُوا۟ لَمَنِ ٱشْتَـرََىٰهُ مَا لَهُۥ فِـى ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ مِنْ خَلَٟـقٛۚ
And indeed they already knew that the one would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter who consciously and purposely had made such tactics a profession/business activity.
وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا۟ بِهِۦٓ أَنفُسَهُـمْۚ
And certainly how vile was that/the price-gain with/for which they did sell/bargain their selves —
لَوْ كَانُوا۟۟ يَعْلَمُونَ .2102١٠٢
Had they but known-realized that how vile was the gain price.
