If God is infinite, does that mean that there were an infinity of creation even before us? It's so hard to understand or grasp. Or are humans and jinn the first creation of its kind?

Agree... and God acts through all things as well, as the true God is in control of everything.
Because God is in control, thus there's 0% probability that God will be angry, God has enemies, God spread fear of punishment to obtain obedience from the things which It has created Itself and are totally within It's control.
It's the polytheistic gods and goddesses who are mad as hell, has enemies (other gods), spread fear of punishment to obtain obedience from the things which are obviously beyond it's control.
The ancient christians a.k.a proto-muslims call those gods and goddesses as Demons, the pretender to be god. Demons are also creature of the true God who has chosen the path of ego-centered fulfillment, resulted in blasted ego, pride, love being worshiped and feared, continuous longing for the pleasure of superiority such as winning, slaying, hatred of anything besides themselves, continuously striving to control other creatures to become it's slaves and servants through spreading fear of disobedience.
God did not punished the demons, it's the demons who are punishing themselves through living the life of illusion and fake-ness. The illusion of self-grandeur, the illusion of self-pride, the illusion that they can do things which are beyond the control of the true God. (the illusion of free-will-from-God)
At one point even those demons will came into a realization, and their self-induced sufferings will end.The path of ego-centered fulfillment is a very hard path, full of anger, full of hatred, full of discomfort, full of sufferings and that is why majority of creatures will not be able to endure this path for long. Even when they initially do they will reached a point of realization and shall eventually return to the natural path.
The ancient christians a.k.a proto-muslims refused to even scared of the polytheistic gods / demons or bow and worshiped the demons. This is the cultural backdrop of a story known as "Dweller of the cave" a.k.a "7 sleepers of Ephesus" a.k.a "Ashabul Kahf", which of course makes the demons and it's slaves / servants angry and spreading an even bigger fear and threat of punishment in order to control them. No way.. Further your God never threaten or warn.. That's a plus point and paving my way easy to my aim.. Lol..It's not "In order to be good you need to be humble" but it's more of "you will be humble when you're good".
I can use the weaknesses of your Lord to my victory in this life.. Coz your God never warn with Hell... That's more than enough to entice me to opt bad path and achieve my goals as long as I manage to escape this world's law.

Depending on what your goal is, then yes you can opt the path of "ego-centered" to achieve such goal.
Especially if your goal are- To feel the sweetness of victory and winning.
- To feel the joy of pride and being superior.
That leads me to shed ego... In fact with fear..

But yes I somehow agree with you for this one, fear is a very effective mean to quickly control other creatures, at least temporarily, that is for those who doesn't have natural control over other creatures.
But not all... fear will not work to control some creatures...And fear has it's own impact, it will also produce hatred and resentment.
Feel free to try it on your everyday life, instill fear on them and try to take control over them.
By the way, have you ever pondered how you manage to control your own hands (or other body parts which you believe you have natural control over) ? Is it through fear?
