New Muslim from Denver
-
Hello, I am a 38 year old man and a professional entertainer in the Denver area, and I have only just recently chosen to become a Muslim. I have taken no steps in this direction other then beginning to read the Quran, and to study Arabic. I have been cautious of watching YouTube videos because I do not yet know who is and is not worthy of my attention. I look forward to meeting some of you and learning from this forum.

Welcome to the forum..
It pays to test our religion with studying and reflecting. There are two ways to test our religion
-
Follow our instinct and challenge all the doubts we have in our head and the contradictory bits that we come across. We must be brave and honest with ourselves , not heed to peer and social pressure.,but use our eyes,,ears and brain and work hard at it.
Always checking how just and fair we are with ourselves and others -
Go with the flow, live life ignoring our instinct and stay with our desires and false loyalties, even defend our way and false beliefs, ignoring justice and fairness to our own soul and others until our death. Then we will surely find out if we had the true religion at GOD s. But this is too late to correct..
So we can test it before we die or wait till death arrives GOD is very much aware of our testing intentions and applications.
Best of luck with your journey.
GOD bless you.
Peace. -
