My little knowledge to share with you people

- I posted this in general as well did not see this section first
Hello salam alaikum,
I stumbled upon this website somehow, and I will explain why I decided to make an account and post this. To begin with, my whole family line is 'quranist' as in we give the highest importance to it and follow its teaching etc, however this term 'quranist', I found out from this website, my experience from observation is my grandfather, father and I, that would be 3 generations of experience of being a 'quranist' I have. Like I mentioned I just found out this term from this website and this whole group over here, and after reading through this general section, well you can guess how sad/disappointed I was regarding the beliefs some 'intellectuals/top guys' have said over here, therefore considering my background which I just explained, it must be obvious why i would make a post to help you people. This will be a guide, if you do it, you will be amazed, if you don't and hold onto your own beliefs and think that you know best , then well, it would hinder your progress. Now, just to point out, this website has definitely been infiltrated by people with bad intentions because there is a lot of misinformation being spread.
Moving on to the main reason of the post, which is the guidance, here it is, PRAYER, it transforms you, it progresses and grows your spirit. It is supposed to, or it is intentionally meant to be HARD. I will explain to you in levels.
Level 1 Standard prayer which is done in mosques or home, ( fajr, dhuhr, asr, maghrib, isha)
When you are doing this, 1.almost entire day you will be in a 'pure state' due to wudhu
2. it includes quran recitation, recitation of allahs name (subhana rabi'al azeem) although very limited, again thats why its the basic 'fardh' salat, moving onto prostration, where you are submitting to Allah and again glorifying his name (subhana rabi'al a'la), additionally the ending or 2nd rakat where you basically say the shahada and send blessings on IBrahim A.S and Muhammad PBUH and their line, ALLAH HIMSELF SENDS HIS PEACE AND BLESSINGS ON THE PROPHETS, SO WHO ARE WE NOT TO????? WA SALAMUN ALAL MURSALEEEEEN, WAL HAMDU LILLAHI RABB'IL ALAAMEEN (as saffat last 2 verse).
3. Lastly, the idea of being on time on these salah, it improves your discipline and shows commitment/dedication, these attributes really grow you as a person.Level 1b As you see, salat of this type, is an all-rounder but very basic and minor prayer, although it sets up your foundation, and you progress to level b when you do the extra rukaat's which come with each prayer time (nafl, sunna etc)
Level 2 If you strengthen yourself and it is nothing for you to keep on track with the previous level, now you NEED to/MUST move on to level 2, otherwise, your spirit will not progress (this progress spiritual thing I am talking about, is not some only psychological thing, like literally, there will be 'noor' (light) coming from you, I personally can IMMEDIATELY tell/notice someone of high spirit level btw, just saying to help you understand).
So level 2, is recitation of the quran, simple. A small advice would be, start of with fatiha, Al-baqarah until the first stop symbol (first 2 pages), AYAT UL KURSI recite it 9-10 times(OH MAN I JUST CANT EMPHASIZE ENOUGH ON THIS, AYAT UL KURSI IS LIKE THE SPIRIT BOOSTER BTW, SECRETS MY FRIENDS, TAKE THEM FROM ME), move onto the 4 qul's (kafiroon, ikhlaas, falak, nas) 3 times each, Now this is just a small introduction which you should do BEFORE you start your LEVEL 2 Quran recitation, the actualy recitation SHOULD be atleast and always minimum 1 JUZ at a time, after your JUZ is complete make a DUA/talk to Allah whatever is in your heart etc.
2b. 3 times the above throughout the day (fajr, asr, isha) including level 1+1b
LEVEL 3 DHIKR DHIKR DHIKR (DHIKR IS THE MOST POWERFUL AND PROBABLY THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO DIRECT COMMUNICATION/CONNECTION WITH ALLAH)
Small guidance After ISHA salat, stand like mosque prayer , or you can sit, 100x LA ILA HA ILLALAH out loud not in head, ---> prostrate (subhana rabi'al a'la as many as you wish, sit the legs under way, make dua ---> RAbana ataneh fid dunya hasana, wa fil akhiratil hasana, wa kina azaban naar. Reapeat x10 (so therefore 1000x La ila ha illalah). THIS IS 1 DHIKR.
LEVEL 3B--> DHIKR AFTER EACH QURAN RECITATION PERIOD + 1 1+B.
**points to consider DHIKR is best at night, QURAN is best at night, but spreading it throughout the day makes it easier for you, but remember when you recite quran, first intro then the MINIMUM one JUZ if you start reading.
*** also these LEVELS are not like you Need to them in order, you could even start with doing 10% of all levels at once, and slowly increase that, hope you understand my point. Conclusion
Yes my friends, it is not easy to be a NOBLE of Allah, to be worthy of his attention without full DEVOTION, and I see people here trying to REMOVE everything from importance of SALAT, by first removing how much your supposed to do, then reducing the amount of time. Remember maryam A.S was in her room ALL day and night doing what? you know well it is PROSTRATING TO ALLAH AND GLORIFYING HIS NAME. WHAT DO ANGELS DO??? GLORIFY ALLAH! aka SALAT, for how long? ALL THE TIME.
******* THIS POST IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO BE A HIGH SPIRIT LEVEL PERSON, ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE, YOU WILL BE TESTED WITH A LOT OF THINGS BY ALLAH WHEN TRYING TO DO THIS, IF YOU ARE JUST A PERSON WHO WANTS TO KNOW "OH IS THIS ENOUGH TO NOT PUT ME IN HELL" then well just dont ever commit big sins (10 commandments, shirk etc)
There is SO MUCH STUFF TO TALK ABOUT BUT I JUST WANT TO GET TO POINT DIRECTLY, ABOVE IS MENTIONED A GURANTEED 1000000000% PERCENT WAY TO UP YOUR SPIRIT LEVEL AND BE IN DIRECT CONNECTION WITH ALLAH AND YOU WILL SEE WONDERS/MIRACLES ETC, IF YOU DONT WANT TO THATS YOUR CHOICE, I WROTE IT SO THAT MAYBE SOMEONE WHO HAS THE WILL AND PURPOSE TO BE ONE OF THOSE HIGH RANK INDIVIDUALS OF ALLAH BUT HAS NOT FOUND THE INFORMATION, ALTHOUGH IT IS ALLAH ONLY WHO GUIDES WHO EVER HE WILLS.
SALAM ALAIKUM!

peace,
Welcome to the forum. You said you were of 3 generations of "quranist" and that seems a good thing but we should always bear in mind
When they are told, "Follow what GOD has revealed herein," they say, "We follow only what we found our parents doing." What if their parents did not understand, and were not guided? (2170)
They commit a gross sin, then say, "We found our parents doing this, and GOD has commanded us to do it." Say, "GOD never advocates sin. Are you saying about GOD what you do not know?" (72

Welcome to the forum.
Me ,I do "the salat"for these Scientific facts as well
Getting up early in the morning helps combat depression and other psychological problems.
The prostration position which is repeated during the salat expands the blood vessels in our brains to accommodate more blood, and this prevents headaches.
The repeated bending of the back and the joints is a healthful exercise.
GOD bless you.

Salam ALAIKUM!
My friend, that is a good thing you said, however the reason behind me even mentioning my background was to show the 'experience' or observations, or I can say, I saw their 'success', implemented their advice, and well, you can guess, I also then experienced what it was all about. I mentioned it because well, i did not want to sound like I just came out of nowhere and woke up one day and decided to say random things which came to my mind, NO, it has a background and experiences attached to it.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with what I said, try it yourself my friend, Allah commanded us to prostrate to him, Allah tells us to recite the quran, Allah tells us to call him out and take his name, glorify him, he sends blessings on the messengers, therefore that's why we as well do that as respect. My post was just basically explaining the key idea that , prayer intensity in time and effort will directly affect the power of your soul, and move you closer to Allah. I just mentioned some methods to get started, there are different ways, there are many specific Surahs you can read, many different dhikrs you can do etc.
By the way just to give you a small example, I know people who literally know on the night of LAYLATUL QADR that this is the night, and similar types of people confirm it, and trust me, these people when you see them, it reminds of you angels, what do they do? constant prayer, 40 day withdrawals from worldly life all the time, that 40 day thing, it is like Nitrous Boost for closeness to Allah and spirit level.
Salam Alaikum (Peace be unto you)

Peace.Salam Alaikum Peace my friend good logic ,
Definitely has those benefits, it just makes you forget everything at that moment and you are just at peace, physically and mentally. You know, I'll go out of my way and even share more details about my self. You see, i mentioned in previous posts and replies, all these positive things, and you know there was a time when I was completely in a different world and without a path, I had chronic PTSD, chronic depression, attempted suicide etc etc you get the picture, and to get to the point where I am now during the process, even contemplated a second attempt to get the heck out of this world, many times went backwards in progress, but 'Alhamdulillahi rabbil aalameen" today I am at a much better place all thanks to Allah and his guidance. so, I would agree that salat is peace, it has definitely changed many things in myself, physically and mentally. It is great method of meditation, especially dhikr, next level meditation if you really get into it.
May Allah bless you as well my friend,
Peace Salam Alaikum

Dear 777, welcome.

I doubt you would have found this term 'quranist' being propagated on this website - most of us here are 'Muslims,' while Quranist sounds like a sect that worships something other than God alone (I assume they worship the Quran by the name you have given them).
Anyways, as tremendous as your experience has been with the ritual Salat - I have read similar ideas from people who do Yoga (the clarity, the discipline, the lack of depression, etc..). In fact, even just normal disciplined excersize will give a person clarity and focus...
God will judge His creation by them adhering to the 'Straight Path' He has given - not for perfecting the art of a ritual.
