What indeed a curse means in the current life... And hereafter hell is enough I presume to be a curse..
But what actually a curse.. How one human can curse another and why? Is one who curse another is a good habit or acceptable by God?Has anyone explored this lām ʿayn nūn ل ع ن

Dictionary meaning of curse as under
'a solemn utterance intended to invoke a supernatural power to inflict harm or punishment on someone or something'Does it really work or there even among those who never believe in God?
What is the power of human to curse another? What is it?
Have anyone experienced anything that you feel is a curse of human or God or Angels... Has anyone come across that you feel such and such are cursed by what they go through..
Have you ever cursed anyone that worked?

Brother, by chance I also noticed this a few days ago and will be working on it.
As per my current understanding, ل ع ن means to be on distance, to be apart. It has nothing to do with curse or any abusive meanings. It is just opposite of closeness or affection. Hope our brothers and sisters would share their understanding too then we would be able to finalize its meaning.Peace!

It's good you started researching nowadays.. Hope you come up with a better explanation..
Keeping distance is your current take.. Let's see does it befit with others understanding .. So no real curse that physically one could sense.. Think of cursed tree in Quran ... Yes we can't take cursed tree for example coz.. That's not literal I guess.. But fitna..
3368 Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse.
The above verse seems like punishment and curse two things.. And curse can be great too..
3357 "Indeed, those who abuse Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment"
This verse also hints punishment is different from curse. If this above verse was only meant for those who were living with the Messenger then I don't know what happened to those who were cursed... But if this verse is general and can be applied even today... Then you will find many millions of people abuse Allah and His Messenger.. Even being a Muslim also they may be abusing by saying what messenger didn't say...
So.. What curse is on them literally..?What about the curse on Iblees? What can we take from that example... Is it like the closure of right path and prohibition of Janna...

I know it is very complicated subject... but i wish your understanding... This is one of the subjects which i cannot grasp actually what the curse is....Your cooperation is appreciated... Not a debate but your up to date understanding so that i can ponder over it..

It all depends of what one understands by "curse" and in what context?
1-How can GOD curse someone?
2- How can Malaika and humans/believers curse someone?
Let us deal with 2 first;
Humans can only condemn someone if they are judging them or if they agree with a judgement they receive., sometimes jutly or unjustly. In the case of believers they do it justly.
For example if someone breaks a law ,then a human judge will condemn according to the law. Those who agree with the judge ,inderectly,,have also condemned the culprit.
So ,my understanding is in this context,when it comes to 1
Disbelievers have broken the law,according to GOD s system of justice. GOD is condemning them as GOD is the only judge of His system.
Believers,themselves and all the humans present and Malaika will all agree with GOD s judgement,hence they are also condemning them and rightly soIn reality breaking a law of GOD always leads to a concequence, if no repentance is forthcoming. GOD s sunnah/system is already written and planned.The human is reminded that he is his own judge and will be condemned if he disbelieves./breaks GOD s law and does not repent.
So 2159 and 2161 are saying they are condemned by GOD, Malaika and all who will agree and see for themslves that GOD is the just judge because they have broken GOD s law.. No other way out for them.
