      Dear centi50,

      1/-
Below the commentary of Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi -in "Tafhim al-Qur'an"

      "
Ibn `Abbas says that in the pre-Islamic days of ignorance when the Arabs had to spend a night in some uninhabited, desolate valley, they would shout out "We seek refuge of the jinn, who is owner of this valley." In other traditions of the pre-Islamic ignorance also the same thing has been reported frequently. For example, if in a place they ran short of water and fodder, the wandering Bedouins would send one of their men to some other place to see if water and fodder were available; and when they reached the new site under his direction, they would shout out before they halted to pitch the camp "We seek refuge of the sustainer of this valley so that we may live here in peace from every calamity." They believed that every un-inhabited place was under the control of one or another jinn, and if someone stayed there without seeking his refuge, the jinn would either himself trouble the settlers, or would let others trouble them. These believing jinn are referring to this very thing. They meant that when man, the vicegerent of the earth, started fearing them without any reason, and started seeking their refuge instead of God's, it caused their people to become even more arrogant, haughty and wicked, and they became even more fearless and bold in adopting error and disbelief.
      "

2/- below the commentary of ʿAllāmah al-Sayyid Muḥammad Ḥusayn al-Ṭabāṭabāʾī in "Tafsir Al-Mizan"

      "
      (726) Indeed some persons from the humans would seek the protection (yaʿūdhūna, from ʿawdh) of some persons from the jinn, thus they would only add to their rebellion (rahaqan).
According to al-Rāghib, ʿawdh means “seeking refuge in someone else,” and the verb rahaqa is used when someone is forcefully covered by an event. Other suggested interpretations for rahq are (1) Sin. (2) Revolt. (3) Fear. (4) Evil. (5) Humiliation. (6) weakness. These are all implications of the same original meaning
      .
It is said that humans seeking protection from the jinn alludes to an Arab custom. When they had to stay in a desert at night, they would say, “I take refuge in the chief of this desert from the harms of the foolish ones among his people.” According to Muqātil, the people who first took refuge in the protection of the jinn were a tribe from Yemen. They were followed by Banū Ḥanīfah tibe, and then it spread among all Arabs.
Another possibility is that the people would seek help from the jinn through divination (kahānah) in order to achieve their goal. Some have said that it means humans referring to other humans in order to protect them against the harm, suffering and death caused by the jinn. This interpretation also reduces to the idea of divination.
      "
      God bless you.

        Peace Centi....

Yes it is a valuable question... But I don't think anyone can give you a concrete response within Quran how it happens... But it happens..

As you are aware Jin is not human.. That's so obvious within Quran... But Jin is living on this very Earth among us...

Just take a look at some verses of Jin..

1788 Sahih International Say, "If MANKIND and the JINN gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to each other ASSISTANTS."

Above verse says Quran cannot be produced but these two creatures can get together.. Isn't it..
So dear.. It is possible... We are living together.. So when we are together anything is possible to get mingled though we don't see them literally... But their presence is with us...
Can everyone do shihr (enchant / bewitch) . I mean can you create dispute with husband and wife by doing a shihr ... But some people can... And God accepts it they do.. So.. Who they use / get assistance for such evil practices... From where they got this connection? Somehow some people have been gifted OR possessed with such things by which they can communicate with jinn...

So it happens.. But how it happens we don't know...

          Peace centi50,

It is sometimes difficult to overcome our preconceived understanding, verse 726 is one such
case. The verse is straightforward, please reread, there is no ambiguity to the verse.

And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they increased them in burden.

          peace

The term "jinn" means a hidden nature, and refers to a psychopath, psychopaths seek power, position and authority over others, the Ba'alist system is a result of the psychopathic nature, and just as Islam was never a religion but a model of conduct, Islam was originally an anarchic model of common unity, while Ba'al meaning "owner" was a model of hierarchical based riba (usury). Usury has five basic forms, and these presently dominate the peoples of the Earth.

Ba'alism has been reintroduced at least 17 times over the recorded histories of the peoples of the Earth, the last version was Christianity, these religions of control are based on the trinity of corporation and trust, tri'ba'alism, which forms the caba'al of control.

So every time you listen to a politician, caliph, emperor, king, etc. who acts as your sovereign, you'd be taking refuge in their power and be subjugated to their will.

And , the Day when He will gather them together , "O company of jinn, you have many of mankind." And their allies among mankind will say, "Our Lord, some of us made use of others, and we have reached our term, which you appointed for us." God bless

I already told that no-one can give a concrete response in this regard within Quran coz we don't have sheer evidence for that... But it does happen..

God has clearly told in Quran Human take assistance of Jinn... Human and Jinn will share Janna and Jahanna as well.. These two groups are fortunate and unfortunate and not any other creatures who were put on to live on earth...
If anyone claim that Jinn is human among us then it is pointless... Jinn are going Upto the extreme end of heaven and try to listen to what angels speak... Jinn are capable of bringing a palace in front of you within a blink of an eye. So they are different absolutely... Of course they are, coz they were created before human being was created that too by fire... Isn't that enough to say that is not human or kind of psychopath etc.. All sheer assumptions and concocted stories baseless ...

... Quran clearly states that human learned shihr.
2102 "And they followed what the Shaitans chanted of sorcery in the reign of Sulaiman, and Sulaiman was not an unbeliever, but the Shaitans disbelieved, they taught men sorcery and that was sent down to the two angels at Babel, Harut and Marut, yet these two taught no man until they had said, "Surely we are only a trial, therefore do not be a disbeliever." Even then men learned from these two, magic by which they might cause a separation between a man and his wife; and they cannot hurt with it any one except with Allah's permission, and they learned what harmed them and did not profit them, and certainly they know that he who bought it should have no share of good in the hereafter and evil was the price for which they sold their souls, had they but known this."

During the period of Sulaiman shaitan, literally jinn disbelieved and taught shihr... Do you accept that?

From then onwards people knew something that they probably not knew before...

If there is good there is bad also.. Good men may approach for the assistance of good jinn if God will.. Bad men may approach bad jinn for bad action.. But the thing is everyone is not capable of this...

For example... Why we need to ask protection from Saitan from God.. We don't see them and probably we never see them.. So why we say "I seek protection against Saitan's evils from Allah" .. So they literally can harm our way of life by whispering to us.. So if we as believers seek protection against satan and it's evil then one can seek help from them as well...

God says Satan is our enemy and obvious... But invisible.. But what happens if one makes the enemy a friend.. How they make SATAN OR evil jinn a friend is the question here? If you can chase away SATAN by seeking protection from Allah and then there may be ways to near Satan as well.. SATAN is waiting ambush to hunt everyone on this earth... That he will try his level best.. But if one intentionally call him to near him for evil works, would Satan refuse?.. Coz he wants astray in human..

Approaching good jinn may not be easy... Unless you are gifted... But this is also happening.. That we can't deny... They are invisible doesn't mean they are not with us..

Certain things are beyond our knowledge...
I am afraid I can't help you more than this on your question... Probably you have to go and explore if there is someone in your town who says that he seeks help of jinn to help you... It sounds nonsense but there are people...

                        Peace Hawk99,

the Qur'an is presently not translated, modern Arabic is a corruption of the ancient Arabic language, corrupted through Hadith over many centuries, slowly transforming Arabic.

The purpose of this perceptual reality is to develop virtue, reason and establish truth, none of these things are possible without Islam. Islam is not in reference to any contrived religion, but to a model of anarchic common unity.
