    Walikum Salam,
It is a very simple command, repeated again and again

"Obey Allah AND Obey the Messenger".

The Messenger is going to show me how to offer Salah and not Almighty Himself.

May i know how to obey Allah without Messenger? From where you will get the verse claiming "Obey Allah AND Obey the Messenger".

    Salam,

Hope you are doing good by the grace of Allah, Insha-Allah.

-The question here is why not just "Obey Allah" and why "Obey Allah AND Obey the Messenger" ?
-Why Quran orders that in the life of the Prophet (S.A.W.W.) we have an excellent example to follow ?

so messenger showed how to perform salat...but God didn't explain it in quran but showed to Messenger.. So it means Messenger got some message explaining how to perform salat.. so not only salat many a thing in life.. such how fast how to perform haj or some personal things like how to do sex etc. etc.. okay fine..

So.. we are living in a period where that messenger is no more.. So you mean to say find something which is is written in a book about what he spoke what he did.. So any book claiming this is how Prophet told how to perform salat... So follow those books.. that's your argument.. So, why shia rejects shunni books.. are you the one who confirm this is the right way to perform salat?

You are entitled to follow your choice. My amicable advice

      Quran No Ambiguity

We have cited for the people every kind of example in this Quran, that they may take heed.
An Arabic Quran, without any ambiguity, that they may be righteous.
God cites the example of a man who deals with disputing partners (Hadith/sunna/men s books...), compared to a man who deals with only one consistent source (Quran). Are they the same? Praise be to God; most of them do not know.

      Hadith A Gross Blasphemy

You (Muhammad) will surely die, just like they will die.(Only the Almighty is the everliving)
On the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, you people will feud with one another.
Who is more evil than one who attributes lies to God, while disbelieving in the truth that has come to him? Is Hell not a just requital for the disbelievers?

      Quran Absolute Truth

As for those who promote the truth, and believe therein, they are the righteous.
They will get everything they wish, at their Lord. Such is the reward for the righteous.
God remits their sinful works, and rewards them generously for their good works.

      Profound Question

Is God not sufficient for His servant? They frighten you with the idols they set up beside Him. Whomever God sends astray, nothing can guide him.
And whomever God guides, nothing can send him astray. Is God not Almighty, Avenger?

      Best of luck.
      Thank you for the conversation.
      GOD bless you.
      Peace.

You don't perceive how it deserve... or you are deceiving yourself.. try to answer my previous thread rather than bringing verses.. coz definitely know these verses.. we don't deny..

okay take above two verses.. How do we know that these verses are from Allah or Messenger? Just again.. How do we convince that the above verses from Allah or Messenger?
i am not trying to strangle you.. just answer perhaps you may be relieved from your misunderstanding or may allah guide you... just answer questions directly...i highlighted the question in order for you to think

look brother .. i didn't claim i am Mr. Know.. just concentrate my question..coz you are the one here making claims... so if we want to accept you, you need to respond in support of that to the question we ask in return...

you are referring the verse 1509... so i again ask, whose statement this verse is? Is it from Allah OR Mohamed... or Both? simply say Yes it is Allah's or say It is Mohamed's or say Yes it is Both... Did allah spoke here anything other than what Messenger spoke? Or did Messenger speak anything other than what Allah spoke? what's wrong with your logic..
I don't understand some peoples mentality.. why they suddenly get upset..

YES, WE SHOULD OBEY THE PROPHET MUHAMMED. God in the Quran clearly states that obeying the Prophet is the same like obeying Him. No one should consider himself true Muslim (Submitter in English) unless he obeys and follow the prophet Muhammed. Obeying him is to follow the words that came from his mouth inspired by God , the Quran. Without getting into more details , review for yourself the verses, 619, 5045, 1644, 1664, 141, 6155, 4105, 1827 .....etc. to see that Quran is the only message of Muhammed.

Say, "Whose testimony is the greatest?" Say, "God's. He is the witness between me and you that this Quran (Not Quran, Hadith and Sunna) has been inspired to me, to preach it to you and whomever it reaches......

.........remind with this Quran (Not Quran, Hadith and Sunna) , those who reverence My warnings."

When the prophet Muhammed died, he left behind only ONE book, the Quran. The ONLY book that the prophet Muhammed followed was the Quran.

Those who follow the Quran are following the Prophet Muhammed , those who are following the alleged Hadith and Sunna are not following the Prophet but following those who wrote these books. Following anybody but God's commandments in the Quran, is idol-worship. Idol-worship is the only unforgivable sin, if maintained tell death. Good intentions do not help, many idol-worshipers will face God on the Day of Judgment not realizing what they were doing , their intentions will not help them then, read for yourself 622-24.

Let us follow the Prophet by following his message that God calls, complete, perfect and has detailed explanation for everything (12111), the Glorious Quran.
                GOD bless you.
                Peace.

                  Peace Athar2022,

(in bold above) Not exactly what the Quran teachs us.
Indeed, We have sent down the Reminder, and, Indeed, We are surely Guardians of it.

The Qur'an teaches us that God has protected the Reminder through His messengers (the same for all messengers - cf. next verses..)

                          Salaam Athar2022

Just to take up the theme of jkhan

                          1. How did Allah communicate with prophet Mohd

                          2. Were all these communications documented in the Quran

Once you have answered these 2 points, then we can move further with this discussion

                          Kind regards

‘Muhammed’ is not a proper name and is certainly a descriptive pseudonym when it is applicable to prophets after him.

That’s the sticking point for those who follow their predecessors. If you believe in the lie that The God can be silenced by wishful interpretation of a verse which is really about proof rather than finality of prophethood, ie 3340 then you are following your predecessors such as the ones who thought and were wrong about Joseph being the final prophet.

The deniers will always ignore and reject the clear proofs that are shown to them by the prophets and messengers and are therefore just like their predecessors who are described in The Quran.

So .. Shia or sunni or any other group who performs in whatever the way they were taught in their respective books is alright for you, while the way we (believers totally accepting quran) performing salat is not acceptable...isn't it? So in case... if you don't mind the way we pray then what is the point here for you?
talk with logic not with biased mentality... guidance flows if one looks the guidance from Allah only..
Did Mohamed not follow Quran? If you say Yes, then why stopping us from following quran..
Or for Mohamed to follow quran God sent another message clarifying the quran, then why God only should give guarantee to preserve the REMINDER (which is none but Quran).. Why God didn't assure to PRESERVE what was allegedly given to Mohamed in another form of message.. isn't God's duty to preserve that also while in it is 99% of what conventional muslim follows do consist...
what is wrong with your logic.. Why Preserve Reminder and not other sources while still we are commanded to follow all as per you... i can't find any logic in you or all those who follow hadith..
                              thank you..

                                JKhan,
you never read my post, let me repeat it again, We Muslims (Shia Sunni etc) are following Rasul-Allah(S.A.W.W) in Aqeem-us-Salat (Establishing our Salat), we are copying the Prophet from the very beginning, the Shia and Sunni Salat has a minor difference, I pray with them both, Alhumdulillah.

                                Truth,
Muhammad is the name of the Prophet (S.A.W.W), where are you heading to? from where are you taking the Deen from?
And I asked to translate an Ayah of the Quran, according to your own wish, that is a solid message for us my Brother.

                                Walikum Salam Still Learning,

                                1. Quran was deliveres by Jibreel (A.S) to Rasul-Allah (S.A.W.W)
                                2. It is Allah who has given us the Quran, I or you cannot be the Judge.

And to all of you my Brothers and Sisters, when you take the name of the Prophet (S.A.W.W), take it with respect, Allah Himself has given him that respect.

Dear Athar2022, peace be upon you.

I can see that you are respectful at the least and have conducted yourself admirably given the surprising things you are encountering. The single greatest error that all otherwise sincere believers make is that they assume that all of the knowledge that has been transmitted to them by their predecessors must be correct, only because others with no proven authority have said or think it to be so.

By continuing to do this despite new knowledge coming to them, they turn thereby into apes and swine.

Some ape each other and some indulge in the material clay world like pigs in mud.

The 'wish' is not a wish on our part. The wish lies only in the belief that prophethood ended with the prophet of The Quran.

Have you ever imagined how you might have behaved had you lived in the prophet's time? What makes you believe or have confidence that you would have recognised the prophet as a true chosen servant of The God?

I can assure you that like many others here you will be blind to such things unless The God has willed it to be otherwise. No one believes without His will so the best course of action is to to unhitch yourself from your preconceptions and ideas of your forefathers; and like the prophet Abraham himself understand that The God is far far above all that you now associate with Him including any of His chosen servants.

Take heed brother and stop the distinction you are placing upon a prophet, one of many, who is just like you and I, a person. All their rewards are from The God and their position can neither be harmed nor helped by anything else including your 'taqlid' (parroting and aping) of others. Spend of your words wisely and praise The God without association.

What makes a prophet special is that The God chooses whomever of His servants He wills, however He wills, whenever He wills. He gives them clear proofs and signs so that believers will know them.

                                    Walikum-us-Salam my Brother,
It might surprise you but I left going to the Tombs with my mom at the age of 10, I told her we Muslims only ask Allah, later on she stopped going to the Tombs as well.

Truth, my Brother, I understand where you stand and you should understand where I stand and I stand there not because of anyone but because of the Book.

                                    I pray for myself first.
May Allah guide me to the correct path and may Allah guide you too.
                                    Aameen.

                                        Peace Athar2022
You are ignoring many facts from Qoran and deliberately choosing not to answer the questions that are challenging you to ponder and reflect on your misunderstandings, like
                                        1-
These Quranic facts are manifested in the historical reality that the words and actions (Hadith & Sunna) attributed to the Prophet did not appear until many years after his death. The Quran has prophesied the fabrication of Hadith and Sunna by the Prophet's enemies (6112-115). The Quran teaches us that it was God's will to permit the invention of Hadith and Sunna to serve as criteria for exposing those who hijack GOD s authority and follow other than the message of Allah Alone.
Or did the prophet leave books of hadiths and sunna to be written down as well as qoran?

As for idolising the prophet, did Allah order it? where? I cannot find it but I can find what the prophet will say

The messenger* said, "My Lord, my people have deserted this Quran."
                                        2-
The Quran proclaims that it is complete, perfect, and fully detailed (619, 38, 114, 115; 5045), and that religious regulations not specifically instituted in the Quran constitute a religion other than GOD S RELIGION..
The messenger was given Quran only to be delivered ,

Obey Allah and obey the messenger go hand in hand to emphasise the importance of GOD s message i.e GOD WORDS ALONE TO BE FOLLOWED.

17 ;46..And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran alone,* they run away in aversion.
                                        3-
You keep repeating this verse إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰٓٮِٕڪَتَهُ ۥ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِىِّۚ يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ صَلُّواْ عَلَيۡهِ وَسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمًا (٥٦),but ponder what was said to you below regarding this verse and answer or reflect on it at least

GOD s verses come with context like 33 56 was an order during the life of Mohammed like "do not raise your voices above that of the prophet and do not shout from outside to get his attention..."
                                        3356
God and His angels help and support the prophet. O you who believe, you shall help and support him, and submit a total submission. i.e FOLLOW GOD s MESSAGE AND EMBRACE TRUE iSLAM..

*3356 The word ``prophet'' (Nabi) consistently refers to Muhammad only when he was alive. Satan used this verse to entice the Muslims into commemorating Muhammad, constantly, instead of commemorating God as enjoined in 3341-44

O you who believe, you shall remember God frequently.*
You shall glorify Him day and night.
He is the One who helps you, together with His angels, to lead you out of darkness into the light. He is Most Merciful towards the believers.
Their greeting the day they meet Him is, "Peace," and He has prepared for them a generous recompense.

See GOD and HIS Angels also yusallu on the believers of His message. This is not about parroting words that have no meanings and do not make sense.
Or is GOD and His Angels doing S.A.W on the prophet continuously?

At least try to be serious with your argument, that is if you really believe it does make sense and does not contradict the book you claim to believe in.
Hope you sincerely reflect on the advice.
                                        GOD bless you.
                                        Peace.

                                          JKhan,
you never read my post, let me repeat it again, We Muslims (Shia Sunni etc) are following Rasul-Allah(S.A.W.W) in Aqeem-us-Salat (Establishing our Salat), we are copying the Prophet from the very beginning, the Shia and Sunni Salat has a minor difference, I pray with them both, Alhumdulillah.

i will let you in your blindness.... coz it is a thing that you have to sort out if you are really believer...

You are creating out of no where with imagination... You are copying the Prophet.. lol..

for me i feel you are immature in this subject.,.. keep researching and God will He will guide you..

but i leave with a verse to ponder ..

6004 Indeed there has been an excellent example for you in Ibrahim (Abraham) and those with him, when they said to their people "Verily, we are free from you and whatever you worship besides Allah, we have rejected you, and there has started between us and you, hostility and hatred for ever, until you believe in Allah Alone," except the saying of Ibrahim (Abraham) to his father "Verily, I will ask for forgiveness (from Allah) for you, but I have no power to do anything for you before Allah ." Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return, ""

Note One follow or not follow those examples in life.. coz they are their personal ways.. But these examples are worthy studying...Do you follow Ibrahim while Quran says there is excellent examples in him...If God said only Ibrahim.. it is okay at least within Quran we can search what kind of Good qualities Ibrahim had and so we can take from it cream and the essence.. But God said Excellent examples "in those with him as well"

So brother these examples are lessons to ponder in life not necessary that we follow them.. but if necessary and situation arises one can even follow.. No harm..
Same with prophet Mohamed.. He was a wonderful person.. take good things from him within Quran.. Don't make him an icon...

No message without Messenger... Allah communicated to people of the world through choosing messengers to pass his message saying He does exist.. Such messenger should be followed.. Suppose when messages were delivered to Prophet Mohamed he had the responsibility to deliver the message and cannot hide.. God chosen him.. God kept the faith on him.. Only option for people to communicate with God is through Messenger.. God never speak to people.. So people questioned what they wanted ask from God through Messenger.. Don't you see, how many verses it says "They ask you" when they ask him (mohamed) can he respond... No. He has to wait for the answer from God... So communication did happen.. So Messenger spoke what God communicated with him through an Angel Messenger.. So brothers sisters, there is no other way other than obeying the messenger you can obey God... Can people say to Prophet Mohamed, We obey God, no need your message, we have already received messages in the past through messengers like moses, isa etc.. So they They follow Allah and the messenger in fact, but deny another messenger... in case of those who were not given any scriputure before, They don't know who God is ... If mohamed says there is God and i am a messenger of God... How they should treat him.. They can say , no need your nonsesense, we believe in God anyway.. hilarious... Or If his people stone him, would they believe in God...No... So ... People should always obey the messenger to obey Allah... They should always follow the messenger to follow Allah's order..

                                          Thank you..
