:: Sajda is not prostration ::

The Monotheist Group (The Quran A Monotheist Translation)
--1649 "And to God prostrate all those in the heavens and all those on the earth, from the creatures and the angels, and they are not arrogant."In this context, it has used the words “ سجده ” (sajdah) to mean obedience and acceptance and is not referring to the act of physical bowing.
Well... There you are.. You came to the right spot..
Your statement is in black and white... So this is one of those verses that you don't take Sujud as physical prostration saying depending on the context... Fine.. Have you read the verse reflected what it says.. Perhaps Yes.. but what you have accepted directly means that those who are in the heavens and earth NONPHYSICALLY SUJUD? It is absolutely possible for everyone to NONPHYSICALLY SUJUD... And God does accepts it... 1649 ..lets just assume that those in heaven means for example malaika.. So they NONPHYSICALLY sujud... It means what obedience and acceptance. as per you.. So we on earth humans can also do obedience and acceptance of God (sujud)So why one compel now to sujud (mere physical prostration).. Coz physical prostration is not equal to obedience and acceptance. .. One thing you should get right is sujud (physical prostration) is not by the word itself not meant done with obedience and acceptance. That's wrong. I can sujud to my boss to win his heart. In it obedience and acceptance is not included.. And the word sujud itself doesn't have it when taken one meaning at a time.. That's what you all failed to grasp...
Now tell me what sujud did Malika perform? Physical sujud without any obedience and acceptance or non physical sujud with obedience and acceptance to God..?
They can't do both... Coz Sujud has only one meaning with context....In context pls don't apply both coz that sujud doesn't have such a meaning...
Okay.. Note in verse 1649 even without physical prostration but with more obedience and acceptance to God "They are not arrogant " -
4103 And when you have completed the prayer, remember God standing, sitting, or on your sides. But when you become secure, re-establish prayer. Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times
What does it mean to re establish regular prayer when you are secure?
God sees you while you pray so how do you guys present yourselves when praying? It's obvious putting your face on the ground is the most humble way physically. Plus God calls Himself the King, and if you saw God you would fall down before Him.

Thank you..
Yes it can be both depending on Arabic culture.. I meant the word sujud.. But does Allah want us to physically Sujud? That's the key?
I guess you can say it depends on the Arab culture of that time, as it was revealed to them and based on their lisaan.
Sujud is the plural of the word saajid, not sajdah.
SaJaDa can be both literal and metaphorical reliant on the context. Even the tafseer books have mentioned this semantic change in their analysis of the Quranic words.

Peace brother..
God is is the one you should ask to help you out.. He is the one who exposes quran His book...
If what you feel by the above verse is identical to what is in the picture then it is your choice... But for me never.. This position on the floor is not what God expects from His believers...Let me tell about the verse which you take as physical prostration...
Brother... Azqhan is never ever FACE within Quran .. But it is CHIN.. 368 is more than evidence to conclude within Quran Adqhan =Chin...
So literally there is no physical sujud touching chin to the ground.. Not even conventionally.. So the option is beyond possibility..And the other word khā rā rā is in Arabic definitely has the meaning of fall but it has the meaning of emotional collapse etc etc..
Since in the verse Adhaqn is not face kharra cannot be taken as falling to the ground.. In this verse definitely it is an idiom well known to the audience who speak Arabic then..
Well.. In this verse.
Say, "Believe in it or do not believe. Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it - when it(Quran) is recited to them, they emotionally collapse upon their chins in submission ..Find out even in every major language what is the meaning of falling on to the chin meaning..
2573 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not FALL (kharra) upon them deaf and blind.
Above verse is ideal example that word kharra in Quran is not always fall down. But figurative.. Even 1990
So the verse 17107 is figurative.. Not actual fall to the ground since adqhan is not face as well..1958 " When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell (Kharra) in submission and weeping.
These are emotional stuff.. They listen to verses of Quran and knowing that this is from God and it is the truth they immediately collapse / fall in obedience /submission thus accepting and they weep.. Coz truth of God is recited.. They realized.. They can't resist..
That's fall in sujud OR fall in ruku..It is hard to grasp unless God guides.. I found it hard and not anymore..

Your question is totally irrelevant to the topic...
Anyway look at the verse you have brought...
4103... These are three posture of human being Standing Sitting lying on the sides.. God says to remember Him in any of the positions.. WHEN? after salat... Note well conventionally Salat enda in sitting position... Best way to put the wording on this verse since it is after Salat is.. Remember Allah sitting, lying on the sides or standing.. Coz soon after finishing salt in sitting position asking to remember God again in standing position is weird..
Coz salat is in standing position...
These three are bodily positions ..but God didn't say remember him in Sujud position or Ruku position.. I know you have different view.. But let the people who reflect, reflect upon it.. I'm sure one would think of verse they stand and sujud. Buy they stand and submit.. God bless and guide the believers -

You remember God throughout the day doesn't matter what order it says to remember Him after prayer.
Anyway I don't really care that much so I won't clarify my relevant question. -

In the verse 1649 which Iyyaka brought he referred that Sujud here means Not Physical, I have few more questions or rather concerns generally to all who accepts like Iyyaka ...
So those in earth and heavens SKIPPED physical prostration but still did/doing SUJUD.. why? Why they did skip physical prostration (Sujud) and still did sujud (submission) and still they were not arrogant..?
Is it context of the verse you say it is non physical or there is no other option other than accepting it non physical?
So one thing me and you or even everyone can conclude is, that NONPHYSICAL sujud(submission) is possible by every creature that God has created and they are doing it and they are not arrogant .. Arrogant are those who deny the submission (sujud) to God.. . Submission = accepting God's authority order without denying thus surrendering ..So verse1649 is clear.. Everything can do nonphysical sujud only and everything cannot do physical sujud practically which is not in line with the word's meaning..
But every creature dogs cats fish trees mountain stars ant water all are doing non physical sujud and they are not arrogant.. It means they accept God's order command live accordingly.. Real submission willingly...Note everyone.. UNWILLINGLY SURRENDER AND SUBMISSION ... 383 an 1315 if anyone has any clue what Aslam unwillingly and Sujud unwillingly pls bring your comments, I also would like to discuss on that... Coz it seems while most on earth and heavens willingly aslam(surrender) and Sujud (submit) while another group somehow UNWILLINGLY aslam and sujud.. That's a point to reflect upon.
Thank you.. -
2176 because Allah sent down the Book (Quran) in truth but those who causes of dispute / go against in the Book (Quran) are in a schism Far
I am wondering is this valid for all believers or all those who accepted the Quran? Who will dispute or go against the Quran and end up as in a schism far?
Will truly guided people / believers choose to be in schism by going against the Book? Not understanding the book and disputing or going against the Book is two different matters... God knows best who is dispute in the book regarding Sujud?

Sejda as a word is not used in the Qur'an (same is for rukoo', but 32nd surah is called Sejda. There's only one usage of words from s-j-d in 3215 from which we can understand the whole concept of Sejda.
Prostration is best described through the verb kharre خَرَّ, which is used with words from roots s-j-d and r-k-'. Kharre can mean both, physical prostration or lowering self in front of Allah as opposite to istikbar mentioned at the end of 3215. But 3215 is crucial to understand when, why and how.
Unfortunately, I don't know many people who could help me and remind me on Allah's aayaat.
Root s-j-d is about accepting, welcoming somebody or something with full support and friendship. Jaada جادة is a broad road (as today avenue or boulevard) and harf seen is headway, or all mean that somebody is going towards something/somebody with his wide heart and mind, not with narrowness and enmity (as Iblees towards Aadem).
Prostration should be due to our realization about errs we done and regretting, asking for forgiveness, but it can be non-physical.
