Marrying modern day christians is haram based on Quran

Did you read the verse in arabic. It does not say “they are no longer lawful” it says “they are not lawful”.
Why you need "No longer lawful" "No longer forbidden" in verses..
They married each other ... so their marriage was lawful... They left their husbands ... Either by compulsion or on their own willingness in secret due to unbearable situations... So.. Once they go through a comprehensive screening by believers and once they found out they in fact believing women, don't sent them to those rebellious kafir ... it is unethical.. coz they don't want to go there.. God's order.. So not lawful for them... They left them coz of their (husbands) fault and not these women's fault.. So, Why to say No longer lawful?
in this verse THEY clearly indicates the connection to Muhajir women and their previous husbands and they are not lawful... Neither they maintained marriage life nor allowed them to live there peacefully,.. these women left/driven out... Why they should be lawful for them? -
Well last two sentences are applicable to anyone including you and me... so be careful before forbid something which allah has not forbidden.. Yes be careful in Permitting a matter.. But be with Quran... if You are 100% sure that it is forbidden then it is up to you... but i am 100 % sure it is not forbidden in the verse...
Muhajir is clearly written in this particular verse so it is... God could have easily left out MUHAJIR from the verse and made it common so it is applicable to all... But God chosen specifically with Muhajir... So, why disobey while it is meant for them... Are you a muhajir or someone who receives muhajir, if no then there is nothing for you to take from this verse literally rather than accepting the verse ...
Lol I’m curious, what is special about muhajeerat, that they are the only who are prohibited from marrying kuffar?

Why they should be lawful for them?It makes the most sense that these were already nonbelievers then they decided to convert to Islam. After they converted, there marriage became haram because they were believers married to nonbelievers.
The verse does not say that it is haram to send them back. It says that the kuffar are not lawful husbands for the believers. Therefore they would be commiting a sin by staying married/ marrying a kafer.
Also in another part of the verse it tells believing men not to hold onto marriages with kuffar woman. No mention of muhajeerat

you not consider the verse it deserve, but you try to convince your opinion over my opinion...
Why would God say La Junah (No blame) to marry a believing woman.. ponder dude..
You skipped one portion here.. Believing women and you take only disbelieving women here.. okay fine..what is special muhajirath kafir? lol..
The big difference is These Kafir women are married.. do you copy that? They are married.. They have their husbands... God never has allowed married women in marriage... Did He? exceptional in this verse 6010 but once found out they are believing women.. It is a huge favor.. Most probably they become as "Right hand possessed / Ma malakath Aymanakum" This is further clarified by verse 424 as well... -

i am afraid you don't get the verse...
There is nothing mentioned here CONVERTED... Pls understand that..Let me simplify.... a group of women came as Muhajir...
People take responsibility.. They by oath take them (Ma malakath aymanakum).. So they stay with them..
it takes time to find out whether they are believer or disbelievers... with time they find out certain of these women are believers and some are disbelievers..God has given command that any believer can marry these women even though they are already married but once they realize they are believers...
Conversion is not the issue here.. They genuinely were believers even before they arrived there.. Only problem is to get confirmed they are believers or not.. God knows of course they Believers or not.. But these people don't know .. just coz they say it won't become as it is... That's why even mohamed was asked when women comes as muhajir 6012 special command.. it takes time ...on the case disbelieving women, they remain as disbeleivers... no one need to convert them.. as they wish.. but they also will remain as Ma malakath ..... ... Don't marry them.. coz they are married and their husband are alive... if they wish one day let them go back.. or marry them if they become believers...

If you thought about what I saying. Then I wouldn’t need to explain my point to you.

whatever... there is a limit for anything... so i think i have explained my understanding...
i have to remind with correction to everyone...
pls note if i have used word FORBIDDEN in curiosity in verses 2221 or 243 in my earlier posts, pls remember Allah has not used word FORBIDDEN but used DO NOT... not always when God says DO NOT it doesn't mean literally FORBIDDEN.. But God instruct us vehemently or rather with intent knowing the bad effect of doing so... God FORBIDS using the word FORBID is ultimately what is forbidden..
for example 2221.. God uses DO NOT for our goodness ... perhaps you read all DO NOT verses you will get.. If God uses Do Not and says for the same thing as FORBIDDEN then it is fine.. thank you..

Doesn’t Quran tell us to obey god?
You’re twisting the quran to fit your own world views.
And twisting it in a big way

And twisting it in a big way
You are rushing... rushing to the extent of saying what you do not know...
Yes we should obey God, but if anyone disobeyed He has to reach for forgiveness... Doing things that God says DON'T DO and doing things that Gods says FORBIDDEN has huge weight/difference..
Pls read all FORBIDDEN VERSES in Quran..
https//corpus.quran.com/qurandictionary.jsp?q=Hrm#(4231)
thank you... it takes time to know what is truth when it is invisible... so don't rush..

Quran 1731 tells us do not kill your children, so what are you trying to say? it is not haram to kill our children???
Don't you have any patience.... why rush with quran...
haven't you ever read that Allah has forbidden killing a person except for just reason..So DO NOT and FORBIDDEN is corelated in 1731 ...
pls don't ask in future such rubbish question... thank you -

“Do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely killing them is a heinous sin.”Read whole verse, and your point isnt valid

Just coz you say it won't become invalid... well..
read verse 1730-33...
God kindly instructs coz in that society it was a practice... They did know / did not know about it.. But politely instructs... Then clarifies how greater sin it is...
and in 1733 God says it is FORBIDDEN killing another soul... So you children has soul and killing is forbidden... Even though here it is said DO NOT it is corelated with a FORBIDDEN matter..If Allah says DO NOT approach FAHISHA... then you would ask again.. But God has Forbidden Fahisha in other verses so it is co related..
so read all DO NOT verses and Forbidden verses.. thank you..

Yes, it is forbidden to marry a Christian who believes in the Trinity. It is forbidden to marry a Christian who ascribes divinity to Jesus or any other servant.
It is also forbidden to marry a pantheistic Sufi who worships the universe and himself. Even on this forum there are pantheists who worship nature, for example, and it is haram to marry them.
Peace
Yes, it is absolutely forbidden/haram to marry a polytheist who is in shirk.
But as I said, if that person repents and becomes a Muslim, then the prohibition to marry him is lifted.
Similarly, it is strictly forbidden to marry an adulterer. But if that person repents and reforms and does not commit the same mistake again, then the prohibition against marrying him is lifted.
Peace
