    Hello sister Sarah.
I am sorry to keep trying to answer your questions, because I leave you with more questions to ponder. I have a lot of questions myself, every day they increase instead of decrease!
Qoran has done that to me ever since I started to check it out.
I am sure GOD wants us to keep asking questions the whole duration of our life and my theory is that we leave here disappointed and frustrated that we cannot answer the majority of our questions.
Anyway, I think the answer here might be that it is to do with GOD. The majority of us have issues with GOD ,some to the point of ignoring and disregarding GOD altogether to the point where He becomes the enemy of good reason and good things like sanity and wellbeing of our existence.
To me GOD is sanity and wellbeing to our existence.

Mention GOD alone and many will feel anger, mention others/ folks/things and many will be satisfied!

Perhaps we should ask more questions to those that have the issue with GOD Alone?

However sister, I have answers to few questions like
What do you call a Russian tree? Dimitree
Do you know how a train eats? It goes chew chew
Which came first, the Chicken or the Egg? The rooster of course
Why is it easy to weigh a fish? It got scales
Why do the bikes not stand on their own? Because they are tired
Do you know how to go for ten days without sleeping? You sleep ten nights
What name do we call an irrelevant elephant? An Irrelephant
what falls and do not get injured?Rain
What looks like half apple? The other half apple

And there are some questions I don t know the answers to, like
If winning is not everything, then why do they keep scores?
Why do overlook and oversee mean opposite things?
What hair colour do they put on the driver's licenses of bald men?
Why the man who invests all your money is called a broker?
I thought about how mothers feed their babies with tiny little spoons and forks, so I wondered what Chinese mothers would have used. Toothpicks?
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?
If people from Poland are called "Poles," why aren't people from Holland called "Holes"?
Why do they lock gas station bathrooms?
Are they afraid someone will clean them?
The difference between in-laws and outlaws? Yet Outlaws are also wanted.?
Hard work never killed anyone, but why take the chance?

Take care sister. Hope you are well.
    GOD bless you.
    Peace.

      my views are below.

When I speak to fellow Muslims, I do not try to create a friction and bash the hadith believers. And I find this very useful and most of times they agree to some of the concepts because they never had such an eye opening discussion with any one. But if i start to make myself completely distinct from them with an ego and arrogance then this wont work out. So my advise is as long as you discuss with people who believe in oneness of God try best to accommodate and not make yourself an object of stare and talk among them.

With regard to shaytan trying to make you lonely as if they are separate creation of God...
I believe this is a characteristics. Meaning those people who transgress and goes against God, they can be termed in arabic as Shaytan or Taghoot. It is an adjective used in the arabic language. Any one from us humans, or Jinns, or even angels who transgress can be attributed to being Shaytan as an adjective.

      For exampleLast chapter
      مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاس ٤
      ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
from the evil of the lurking whisperer—
who whispers into the hearts of humankind—
      from among jinn and humankind.

So Shaytan is not some separate creation of God it is only a characteristics and found in many other creations should they show such bad quality.

Now lets talk about Iblees as per Quran. When God created Humans, He asked the previous creations before us like Angels & Jinns to prostate.
Humans appear to be less of status in terms of being created from mud, while previous ones from Alrooh and energy form of matter respectively.
So it was a test of loyalty where higher ranks creations (Angles and JINNS) were asked to prostrate to a lesser creation (in terms of matter form).
Hence all followed except Ibless (Azazil) because he felt he is superior to humans and hence he was expelled but given a grace period as per his request until day of judgement.

On the other hand, humans have both form of characteristics.
      quran (917-10).
      WA NAFSIN WA MAA SAWAAHA, FA-ALHAMAHA FUJURAHA WA TAQWAHA. QAD AFLAHA MAN ZAKAAHA WA QAD KHAABA MAN DAS-SAAHA}

By the nafs and the proportion and order given to it, and its inspiration as to its wrong and its right; Truly he succeeds who purifies it,
and he fails that corrupts it.

So you are your own boss. You can limit your needs and stay away from transgression. and dont blame it on some Shaytan please. Its inside of you. your nafs ... take control of it and achieve Taqwa and not Fujur. So when a human knowingly went on the wrong patch and swept away is the beginning of state of Fujur and it is this state when God also allowed other creations (including humans) to tenfold your path of destruction by inspiring into your heart. But for this to happen you must have already crossed the boundary of whats inside you and obeyed your own nafs bad inspirations.

On the other hand of you fight and kept away from the Nafs al Ammarah, God gives you glad tidings.

      1253
And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon which my Lord has mercy. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

      4130
Surely, those who have declared “Our Lord is Allah”, then remained steadfast, on them the angels will descend, saying, “Do not fear, and do not grieve; and be happy with the good news of the Jannah (Paradise) that you had been promised.

        Peace Sarah,

I want to thank you for your questions, you have helped me in my journey to find truth. Thanks for asking about the word "miracles" the word does not appear in the Quran. Because of that scrutiny I discovered that the word "history" does not appear in the Quran either. I now understand how my traditionist indoctrination of the Deen runs deep and I must endeavor to seek the truth from Allah alone and not rely on any other source, thanks again.

Addressing your current question my approach to others is not to impose on them. The God alone people that I've met have been those who have questions also I am still a member of the Sunni community. People are at different stages of understanding, hasn't that always been the case?

As far as Shaytayn is concerned it is not a whisper "into" the heart which implies from the outside but a whisper "in" the heart which implies a part of the self that must be suppressed.

The cure for loneliness is to be socially engaged. There are people who want your company, friendship.

God bless you keep asking questions

        peace

Satan is the adjective name given to the wicked, deviant ones of jinn and humans.

Iblis is the special name of that famous jinn devil(The Jinn who made Adam and his wife eat the forbidden fruit). That is a personal name.

Surah Nas briefly explains the subject

          Holy Quran

1141 Say "I seek refuge with the Lord of the people,"

1142 "The King of the people,"

1143 "The god of the people,"

1144 "From the evil of the sneaking whisperer,"

1145 "Who whispers into the chests of the people."

1146 "From the Jinn and the people."

          and;

maybe something about your 'energy' doesn't quite sit right with theirs?

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.”
            -- Nikola Tesla.

I would say that 'the feeling / intuition of incompatibility' are caused due to the differences in vibration.
Human have many 'layers' of body, physical body is merely the 'outer layer', there are many other layers.
Among those layer of body is something that's being known with many names around the world; Pranic body, Aura body, Spirit body, Chi. And it vibrates in correlation with emotion / state of being.

When somebody find others and "Sit right with theirs" it means that their vibration resonate with each others. And if it doesn't then their vibration is not resonating with each others.

Sometimes I wonder, maybe it's shaytan trying to make us lonely or jinn somehow changing people's perception of us...jinn can see us but we can't see them...

Satan, demon or other negative beings are also vibrating at their own specific range of 'frequencies'.
Lower range of frequencies, which relate to the emotion or state of being of 'anger', 'fear', 'hatred', 'jealousy', 'sadness', 'envy', 'pride/superiority'.
They can 'communicate' to human by 'sending their thoughts' thus it appears inside the human's mind.

Yet it's up to the consciousness inside the human body to choose whether to entertain those thoughts or not.
What kind of thought? Those that is being listed above..
The effects of entertaining and accepting those thoughts will be, the human will be vibrating at the frequency which is in resonance with the frequency of the negative beings.

The same goes with 'positive beings', yet their frequency of thoughts / suggestions is on the opposite spectrum of the negative. When the negative communicate 'vengeance' the positive will communicate 'forgiveness', when the negative communicate 'pride' the positive communicate 'humility' etc.. etc..
People often refer to these 'voices of the positive beings' as 'listening to my own conscience', which is also correct.

You are not the thoughts that appear inside your mind, you are the one who are experiencing those thoughts.
And it's up to you whether you want to accept those thoughts or transmute it.
Such decision will then be reflected as 'your vibrational frequency signature', which might be in resonate with others with similar frequency or in conflict with others with different range of frequencies.

That is precisely what I also had understood.
              I have a question please.
When Iblees sought a time from God to deceive humans until day of judgement, what does that entail in actual sense.
meaning that SAME Jinn (Iblees) is alive all this time and never died, and also continue inspire humans hearts towards bad ?

              thanks

Yes, he was given a very long life. And as the verses say, he will end up going to hell.

By the way, I think you wrote somewhere that I blocked you. No, I closed my message box in general.

Salam bro, it is fine buddy, I did not know you blocked all in general for PM. I only felt mentioned it because we were having personal message exchanges then suddenly as i was replying to one of your pm to me system says am blocked a that point in time. No worries bro

Coming back to the Iblis and that he has special power to be immortal until day of judgement. That means he is a single Jinn alone entity who has this quality given by God and he then uses all other Jinns as well as humans as accomplices to deceive combined humanity (he and his people must be a lot in numbers to do that).
                  728
O Children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you as he caused your (first) parents to go forth from the Garden and tore off from them their robe (of innocence) that he might manifest their shame to them. Lo! he seeth you, he and his tribe, from whence ye see him not. Lo! We have made the devils protecting friends for those who believe not.

In this verse the arabic word "Sahaitan" is literally used as a noun to refer to Iblis? How come? if this word is an adjective? please clarify

Doe this whole saga not imply into ones mind that the creator deliberately create 3 major creations - Angels, Jinns and then Humans, and then cause the whole incident to create a world where we live today? I mean it is inevitable that Adam and Even were meant to be deceived by Iblis and then whole concept of lust appearing to them and from it many children were born and why to put a blame on Iblis alone if this whole drama was already planned beforehand?
Sorry if am being blasphemous because I only wanted to ask whats in my mind to hope that my doubts are clear.
Certainly I believe in the creator and thank him for all the beautiful things he given us.

                  thanks

The term Satan is used here for Iblis because he is a satan. Perhaps, he is the most powerful embodiment of evil. So again the adjective noun is used here. And Iblis is the first being that comes to mind when this adjective noun is used.

He is the most famous satan and the one who will live until the Day of Judgment.

                      Only for the 'beautiful'?

How do you know 'beautiful' when 'not beautiful' do not exist?
And how do you know 'empathy' when 'self/ego centricity' do not exist?
And how do you know 'love' when 'hatred' do not exist?
And how do you know 'humility' when 'pride' do not exist?
And how do you know 'light' when 'darkness' do not exist?
How do you know 'is' when 'is not' do not exist?

Everything in this universe is based on those opposing pair concept.
Some actors choose to play the "is" role and some actors choose to play the "is not " role.
Yet all actors are serving the director, in their own unique way.
So yes nobody is to blame, either the "protagonist" or the "antagonist".

Yes you are right, how would we value the blessing of life for our loved ones. if we dont know, realize and witness death and some very tragic deaths. One of my nephew in a very young age died and since then i live in fear and gratitude to almighty for my own children.
Some times I feel whatever going to happen will happen to me or to humanity as a whole and nothing can change that or alter it. As if this is a movie am playing a part and i will have to accept what ever the plot or role or twist comes in.
In Quran God has also revealed that to some nations or some specific person(s) he favored among all worlds,... then there are those "not favored" or "not so blessed with his mercy".. the concept you mentioned as opposite pairs.

However the only thing which makes me feel so hopeful is that despite all, God reward the mohsineen and shakereen. (i could not find the exact english words that conveys the powerful arabic words here). Quran 37105

So I am hopeful that the good deeds wont go away all in vain and that perhaps God will forgive us for our transgressions

Yes you are right, how would we value the blessing of life for our loved ones. if we dont know, realize and witness death and some very tragic deaths. One of my nephew in a very young age died and since then i live in fear and gratitude to almighty for my own children.

Consciousness never dies, identity / physical bodies shall wither and dies.
Even planet or even stars, all of it will dies.
Yet a new stars and planet will born from the debris.. from death, a new creation is born.
The only thing that doesn't change is change.

Thus when one does not fear death any longer, what else thus he/she will fear?
Understand this to overcome and transmute the negative vibration of fear.

Everyone and everything is equally blessed with the source / father / creator mercy.
A suggestion that a specific group or specific identity is preferred / superior above others comes from the "negative" or the "is not". As it's the essence of "Pride".

                          We can observe the following

                          • The superiority of Aryan race as proposed by Nazi Germany
                          • The superiority of Japanese as proposed by Japanese empire.
                          • The racial white preference of colonial period.
                          • The preferential of "Christians" over the pagans / non jesus believers.
                          • The preferential of "Chosen People" over the goyims (other nations) as mentioned in the Tanakh.
                          • The preferential of "Muslims" over the "Kufr".

While Pride has it's opposite pair, Humility.

You are not inferior to Satan, Devil and whatever names one came up for the "negatives".
They are vibrating at 'lower frequency' and they will try to instill 'pride' as an entrance to lower your frequency.
Understand 'how they works' through your own discernment and they shall no power over you.
Having said that; you are not superior over them either.

"The servants of Ar-Rahman are those who carry themselves around in this world with humility and serenity."

                            Peace all,

To my Arabic speaking family what does the word "fi" mean?

                            God bless.

                            peace

Bro, I would like to ask one clarification please.
You mix quotes from different schools of thoughts and no doubt those are pearls of wisdom like you mentioned above from Siddharta.
However you know that some of those folks teaching are not aligned with Islam in principle.
                              For example
As per Buddhism the concept is we are trapped souls that are used by a higher civilization. and we are controlled by the mechanism of karma and the wheel of samsara- a continuous life-death cycle -
Now if the above is true then it is not aligned with Quran . so how do you mix and quote Quran along with such other quotes?
if am wrong please correct me.

                              cheers

Ponder then what is islam? for me it's not a label or name of a religion.

Yes what Jesus teaches, Siddhartha teaches, Lao Tse teaches is not aligned with the religion labelled Islam, Catholicism, Prostestanism, Orthodoxism, Rabbanical Judaism. In fact they're at the opposition.

The difference between islam and religion named Islam is like the difference between democratic and democrat party. One is a characteristic the other one is a political party. You can find democrats not only within democrat party, infact many members of the democrat party are actually not democratic at all.

“Not my will, but yours be done,”
                                -- Jesus, Luke 22

"Only three things matters how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. As the root of all suffering is attachment."
                                -- Siddhartha

For example As per Buddhism the concept is we are trapped souls that are used by a higher civilization. and we are controlled by the mechanism of karma and the wheel of samsara- a continuous life-death cycle -

Yes the law of action (also known as Karma) is a universal law, expressed by many statement such as it's the 'what goes around comes around', 'whatever good things that you do you are doing it to your own soul, whatever bad things that you do you are doing it to your own soul', 'forgive and you shall be forgiven, judge and you shall be judged'.. etc..

Life ends with death and death mark the beginning of 'life', the end always mark the beginning of something else and the beginning marks the end of something else, it's two side of the same coin. It's the universal law of anything. The end of Nazi Germany marks the beginning of Democratic Germany, the end of a star marks the beginning of new star (or even stars).

Soul is not 'trapped', it's the consciousness that is 'trapped', if we want to use that word.
Trapped to it's own attachment towards something, so nobody trapped it, it's trapped by it's own attachment.

As such that 'letting go' shall break those attachment.
And 'forgiveness' is among the expression of 'letting go', thus many say 'forgiveness shall break the bond of karma'.

"Forgive others not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace"
                                -- Siddhartha

"forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors."
                                -- Jesus

Or better yet not to get into the attachment situation in the first place.

"I cannot forgive you because I have no grudge against you."
                                -- Siddhartha

I only accept those which resonate with my conscience, regardless of the sources.

That's what Jesus did when he read the Torah by the way... some of the passage there troubled him, thus he start the journey of seeking, following his conscience. The same goes with Siddhartha, Muhammad, Rumi and many others, their 'journey' usually start with something that troubled them. Troubled their conscience.

Conscience, everyone has it and it's the ultimate guide.
Although known by many names, some named it as "Holy Spirit" (Ruhul Kudus, Ruach Ha Kodesh), some named it Atman (The ultimate self) and some others call it as "Higher Self".
Nonetheless everyone has it without exception, including you.

Taoism and Budhism have No God and in contrast the Author of Quran is God and He is the Creator of Earth and Heavens... So the way of life (Deen) preached in Quran is entirely different to what Taoism and Budhism do preach... Unless what came to us through Taoism and Budhism are not real messages what they preached... Since we don't find a single statement of Creator or One God in Budhist text it may well be what those preached...

Yes.. Islam is not religion in its core.. But Islam is Surrendering to the Creator .. It is pointless making everything equal fir the sake of unity... Quran condemns Association and I don't see Budhism or Taoism do so.

Anyway... What's your benefit Jaffer... You are on one path or you are riding in every horse at the same time... I am not gonna ask what your religion is since there is no religion in God's eye... Do you accept God and Quran?. I don't ask do you accept God and Torah since you are in modern era... If you accept Creator and Quran then pointless talking about Taoism and Budhism... Not coz I have any issue with it or those who follow them but they never go in line with Creator's book Quran.. So how much you try to incorporate all into one it never becomes true... God's words not equal to human's... Are Taoism from God? Or Budhism from God then prove it... You are free to prove...

FYI.. I am a believer in One God the Creator of earth and heavens and I accept Quran as His one of the books...
What is your belief if you have courage to say?

When you said in your private message to me to read other than quran for guidance would you think I am so lenient and would do. .. Lol... What's your agenda in this forum . Is it to promote Taoism and Budhism .. Then why not openly proclaim and do. Would anyone stop you? .. Why play cat and mouse to reach your goal ...

Siddhartha answered "There is God" to those who are atheist and "There is no God" to those who are theist.
Because he sees, both group are actually within the same camp, believing on something that they don't know.
He hoped that the answer triggered both to start the seeking.

There is something which cannot be mistaken with something else.
                                    It's INFINITY.
Boundless has no border on any dimension as such that there could only be one of it.

Lao Tse named it Tao, and Siddhartha mentioned that it's the ultimate goal, see how he describe what Nirvana really is.

In terms of way of life, there is similarity, no attachment / sincerity / surrender.

Since we don't find a single statement of Creator or One God in Budhist text it may well be what those preached...

That's actually the beauty of Siddharta's style...
He do not dogmatize the answer, he recommend one to SEEK the answer.
Thus they will NOT BELIEVE but they KNOW, as it has become their own experience.

Quran condemns Association and I don't see Budhism or Taoism do so.

Since there could only be one INFINITE.
How could 'association to other INFINITE' be possible to start with?
Thus why even it need to be discussed?
Why waste energy to discuss whether there are other infinite other than infinite, given it's very obvious?

Those who say that "You shall have no other man beside me" implies that actually there exist many other man beside him.

Are Taoism from God? Or Budhism from God then prove it... You are free to prove...

Isn't THE INFINITE created EVERY THING?

Then why need to prove that 'a thing' (whatever that is) is from the infinite?
Since everything is, and there's none that is not?

When you said in your private message to me to read other than quran for guidance would you think I am so lenient and would do.

My recommendation to you (and to many others) is to follow your own conscience, as the infinite spoke through it. You are not lesser (or greater) than Jesus, Siddhartha, Lao Tse, Muhammad, Rumi, deities, gods, angels, demons, aliens whomever.
You need to walk the path, the path will be different than them definitely, as each will be unique, but the destination will be the same regardless which path that you took.

Siddhartha answered "There is God" to those who are atheist and "There is no God" to those who are theist.
Because he sees, both group are actually within the same camp, believing on something that they don't know.
He hoped that the answer triggered both to start the seeking.

This is what it us written in Budhist scriptures...
But Jafar... The creator of Earth and Heavens through His all Messengers from Nova to Mohamed said and commanded to say God is one and don't associate with Him anything... So why would Budda say No God to Theist and there is God to Atheist... It is completely agaisnt all Messengers preached.. . People don't won't confusionism. But they want clarity... God never changes his Sunnah.. That was common to all Messengers to deliver message of core..

On the other hand... Attachment is life and life is love... Yes attachment has good and bad as outcome even mentally or physically... But God never ordered to be away from attachment... People should have patience and strength to control the ramifications of attachment.. But solution is not to move away from attachment... That's nonsense... Life is full of learning and learn from the attachment of life..

Whatever you have written other than is meaningless for me... Thank you...

Why you failed to answer my important question.. Have you no courage to reply? Lol

Yes attachment has good and bad as outcome even mentally or physically...

Yes through physical life experience you shall attached yourself to many things.

                                        1. to the figure that you saw in the mirror.
                                        2. to any other form of identification that's attached to that figure (my ethnicity, my race, my religion, my nationality, my home, my money, my holy books, my books, my hands, my legs, my football club, my reputation, my ideas, my webforum avatar and many other things)

Yet that figure in the mirror will die eventually and so does all of other form of identification, it just a matter of time.
Thus the process of 'detachment' need to be started, naturally,

That's why I am saying and reiterating to you Jafar. Even how much you try to INCORPORATE Taoism or Budhism with God's verses it will never be.. Because God's verses are real and human statement are local... God speaks the truth and human speaks his own desire...

There is no point you keep waiting verses of Taoism and budhism or etc eith verses of God, it never become equal and true... Coz after death we don't go to human for salvation we go to Lord the Creator... Human statement can be fancy and beautiful to listen but God's statement is real...

So.. You are in vain.. Effort is fruitless... Yes.. You will definitely able to take some in to your grip coz they like human infusion... Find the truth...

When I asked a budhist.. He said he be good in life so that he will not get a birth as an animal... And further said..if he live life far better then he can have another human life... Or be excellent Ghan nirvana that is to say void of life..
Why? Why working hard to achieve it?
Is being an animal an issue?
Or having another life an issue?
What benefit being void or lifless or never be born again..
No benefit at all.. All their fear...

But how beautiful God's promise and warning is...
                                          Thank you...
