.... Then why informed simply as under

267 "And when Moses said to his people, "Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow." They said, "Do you take us in ridicule?" He said, "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the ignorant."

This conversation continues from verse 267-71... Pls read all verses...

What if Allah had said what is said in 271 in the first place... Did Allah intentionally gave little information to the people of Musa or Allah didn't mind if they slaughter any cow?

If Allah didn't mind then why explained to all questions and pointed out the exact cow?

One thing here is so manifest... Musa is not aware through any other wahi that which cow to be slaughtered until it was said by Allah... Here it obviously showing how limited a a prophet / person / Musa from the Messenger of Allah ...

What's your lesson by these verses...does it tell us in general when Allah explained simple thrn do that simole thing rather than catch the corner of it and mix up with all nonsense... Otherwise God would have explained all details at the first instance itself...

Anyone who believes in God's book welcome your understanding...

    Thank you..

You correctly analyzed and summed up in this sentence of yours "What's your lesson by these verses...does it tell us in general when Allah explained simple thrn do that simole thing rather than catch the corner of it and mix up with all nonsense... Otherwise God would have explained all details at the first instance itself..."

      My opinion is below
Verse 67 addresses the Children of Israel, highlighting their deep-rooted tendency to make excuses. Despite being instructed by Allah to sacrifice a bull as a means of purging their hearts from the worship of the golden calf, they responded by mocking and ridiculing the command. They were aware that this divine decree came through a Prophet and that it was inappropriate for a Prophet to speak ignorantly.

In verse 68, they engaged in unnecessary hair-splitting discussions, seeking explicit clarification on the specific type of bull that should be sacrificed. Allah responded by specifying that the bull should be of mature age, neither too young nor too old, emphasizing the need to act promptly and not delay in carrying out the order.

Verse 69 reveals their persistent resistance, claiming that the matter was still unclear to them. They demanded Allah to provide details about the color of the bull. In response, they were informed that the bull should be of a deep yellow hue, appealing to the onlookers' eyes.

Despite the clarity provided, in verse 70, they continued to resist compliance and engage in further arguments, requesting additional elaboration to ensure precise understanding of the requirements. This prolonged dispute was fueled by their unwillingness to submit and accept the command without further debate.

In verse 71, they were informed that the bull should be sound and unblemished, never having been used for labor such as tilling the land or drawing water. At this point, they acknowledged that the matter was clarified, but their persistent questioning and hesitation stemmed not from genuine confusion but from their attachment to the golden calf due to their worship of it.

Verse 72 highlights a sharp contrast in their behavior. While they displayed reluctance in sacrificing an animal, they unjustly took a human life and started blaming one another for the murder. Allah intended to expose their hidden crimes and ensure that the crime did not go unpunished.

In summary, these verses depict the Children of Israel's pattern of making excuses, ridiculing divine commands, engaging in unnecessary debates, and displaying reluctance to obey. Their resistance to sacrificing the bull, despite clear instructions, revealed their attachment to the calf they worshipped. This behavior extended to the point of unjustly taking a human life, leading to a revelation from Allah to uncover their concealed crimes and establish justice.

        Peace my fellow believers ..

Had they slaughtered with the first revelation in 267 any cow in their town of their choice, God would have definitely accepted it coz instruction is clear.. Musa revealed " The God commanded to slaughter a cow... " more than enough to follow..

This is in Quran with intent... Just to tell this story to people of Muhamed and it was passed to all those who read now won't make any sense.. But the message is follow what God commanded... Yes they were fortunate God kept patient and God Himself chose a cow in the end of God's Choice.. ... While it was they who should have chosen with revelation of Musa...

So.. Lesson is... God has revealed this Quran to follow and for knowledge and wisdom and also to know what is Ghaib which explained by God... If God explained and completed the book then no more addition like Musa's people requested... Coz God is not gonna bring more verses to explain what is already in the book from him...
For example.. God says in chapter 56 and 443 few steps.. And if anyone not satisfied with those steps it is like the people of Musa they want more... But unfortunately God has not given more details than that.. Thats the final just follow... These are clear verses. As verse 37 depicts to us.. But verses that are only known by who are knowledgeable and those Allah show mercy it is the blessings for them and it is not necessary that everyone know those unexplainable verses.. Mother of book is what is fundamental for everyone.. And not hidden verses.. They are for wisdom beyond fundamental aspects.. So.. Fundamental verses of God is simple and clear if anyone can read and has common sense..
Unfortunately even fundamental verses are twisted with assistance of other sources... Like the fundamental instruction given to people of Musa.. "Slaughter a cow".. Any fool can understand it if they wanted to obey God's command honestly then and there and no need further question and clarification and assistance .. So those who split God's verses and approach any other sources as if God has not detailed fundamental verses even... Yes.. They heard they obeyed.. This is what those who believed did in the past.. But one thing to note that this Quran came directly to a community and they had a living language and the verses came in their language. . Perfect . Now this book has come long way and still some believers may take assistance of this book to augment their faith though languages are altered and meanings twisted in different languages .. Yes.. It is a challenge.. But not through another source that will make scenario verse.. Any way that is different story.. But the cream and the essence of this topic and these verses are never discard God's direct command and split them into feathers.. But take it as whole instruction and follow what is commanded directly and simply..

To wind up... God says establish Salat (prayer) at the two ends of Nahar and if one says God has not told us how to pray when to pray what to pray then they are not different to Musa's people who mocked at direct command.. . It is like call your Lord and ask how to pray... Yes.. Same like Musa's people. Obviously.. They didn't have that opportunity like the people of musa so invented with basic command what their hearts wanted..

I am so glad those people of Musa didn't continue even further.. How to slaughter a cow? With knife or ox or strangle to death.. Stab at belly or chop the head..? Who among us should do the slaughter today.. Is it rich or poor? In which place we slaughter inside or outside.. How much we pay to the owner of the cow since it is a big deal big command of God.. Well.. That's how Islam of today has cultivated.. Every sect has outside Quran many practices.. Why? Coz they are no different to these people of Musa.. Not willing to follow God's command as it is but with adjustments of their choice they are happy.. People can split as they want.. God kept simple..

No verses of Quran is kept in Quran for no reason... Not just to read stories...

Those hidden verses (37)are not meant for all but those Allah choses.. And they will know meaning and they be silent.. For example.. 171 this is a such hidden verse from God.. No one knows unless disgusting stories or their own assumptions.. But if God let know to few of his servants what this verse means then they will perceive and they be happy... They don't disclose coz others cannot grasp it.. Only they will argue... Why to argue with while they never will perceive it.. But argue what is fundamental verses...so clarification is presented.. Since language of Arabic is drastically changed over time.. And we find many many various translations.. That's fair..

Let me add a little story to it... In YouTube one was arguing with me... Saying.. Our prophet has taught us to was faces three times hands three times ears three times etc etc in traditional way wudu they call... But I said... Why not once enough and four steps... That's wrong.. Quran has only veey littlecabd simple but our has detailed in a way we can follow... How nonsensical they don't perceive it... If mother tell a child was your hands before sitting at the dining table... Then if child asks how many times to wash? Then mother has to check the mental health of child?..
