The parable of the spider's house... Quran, 29:41

peace Mazhar,
Yes I was aware of your view. The choice of "bayt" for the female's eggs seems to be more sensible than the traditional view, but falls a little short as the verse says it is technically the spider's bayt not her eggs, and also the context weights it towards what I said above.
peace loxbox13,
As far as I'm aware, that only happens in a minority of cases, and also it doesn't fit the context, so I think you're way off with that interpretation.

The verbal sentence is the description of circumstance of female spider.

House Spider Myths
Myth Spiders come into houses in the fall to get out of the cold.
Fact This seemingly simple idea conceals many false assumptions. In reality, house spiders are usually not the same species as the yard or garden spiders outside the house.
House spiders belong to a small number of species specially adapted for indoor conditions (constant climate, poor food supply, very poor water supply). Some house spider species have been living indoors at least since the days of the Roman Empire, and are seldom to be found outside, even in their native countries (usually Europe). Many of these species now live in houses worldwide, and most have been carried by commerce to more than one continent. Few are adapted to North American outdoor environments.
House spiders colonize new houses by egg sacs carried on furniture, building materials and so forth. They usually spend their entire life cycle in, on or under their native building. If a large number appear at a specific season, it is usually late summer (August and September) -- not a notably cold time of year! -- rather than fall, and their appearance coincides with the mating season of the given species. What you are seeing is sexually mature males wandering in search of mates.
The females and young remain hidden for the most part, in crawlspaces, storage areas and other neglected rooms; wall and floor voids; behind furniture and appliances, etc. Generally fewer than 5% of the spiders you see indoors have ever been outdoors.
In contrast, outdoor spider species are not adapted to indoor conditions. Any North American spider that needed artificial shelter for the winter, would have been extinct long before Europeans arrived! Spiders are "cold-blooded" and not attracted to warmth. They don't shiver or get uncomfortable when it's cold, they just become less active and eventually, dormant. Most temperate zone spiders have enough "antifreeze" in their bodies that they won't freeze at any temperature down to -5? C.; some can get colder. The few typical outdoor spiders that do end up indoors, die or at least don't reproduce.
2941 Example those who take from besides Allah protectors like the spider who takes a house.

peace all,
I forgot to say
By the use of "if you know" at the end of 2941 implies it is not something blatantly obvious, hence web is lesser likely.
Also, by the use of "So each We took for his sin" in the prior verse could be an interesting play on words/concepts, because a "sin" is basically a choice we make, and the result is We took (same verb in 2941) them for their choice, and in 2941 it is the person's choice of protector that is the issue, and of course if a person chooses God there is no need for God to take them as they are already with God. Simple. -
Salam..
I thought of opening a new thread but I found in search this so decided to furnish my view here.. while I read the verse 2941 and reflecting on absolute scientific evidences about spiders, I feel Allah is not talking about spiders' web or rather its house or trap here.. In my view Allah has meant by Bayt as System.. The most fragile of systems is spiders.. In a way everybody has a kind of knowledge that that spiders web is fragile compared to other things animals do build. Needless to enlighten on that.. . System does befit incredibly... Coz the system of spiders is fragile... Females are bigger than male spiders strangely and that's one reason.. And once she delivers baby spiders she devour the male spider.. So system starts to collapse and not consistent .. And then baby spiders eventually eat mother spider... If this scientific research and evidence is ultimate truth then isn't the Bayt /System of spiders the most fragile... Unfortunately we didn't know it but Allah knows and now we are getting to know about it thanks to Allah who exposes ...
So.. Considering the above scientific research is factual, let's consider why Allah presented this parable... Yes it was connected to those who associate with Allah others.. How can those who associate be strong while they are fragile and those whome they take to associate are also fragile themselves, be they idols or law or any path..
Since the system of spiders is not constant and deceptive and perishable and fragile, it perfectly befits to those who took association with Allah... A system which is fragile..That makes so much sense why Allah took spider and its system as parable to compare those who associate... Unbelievable...

Rubbish interpretation. No Quranic analysis whatsoever.
Not to mention selective science

https//spideradvice.com/are-female-tarantulas-larger-than-male-tarantulas/You rushed to respond... You noticed reply is from me and who the hell jkhan is and immediately said rubbish .. Reflect out of the box.. Don't restrict to a frame...
Just go to any elementary school and ask kids like this underline the correct answer.. Give them four answers including house /web of spiders and say which one is most weakest house among this? Well kids know answer ...
So Allah doesn't need to say after starting weakest Bayt and if you but know...Thank you..
-
Sorry but your reply was even worse.
Absolutely no response to the critique
- no Quranic analysis whatsoever.
- selective science
I have analysed well.. Bayt in Quran can absolutely mean system as well.. In case if you fail to grasp it then it is up to you.. Anyone can say rubbish OR worse but hard to prove what their toungs utter..
Thank you..

Peace...
My dear fellow believers... When Allah uses an animal in His parable to describe disbelieving people in verses like Spider OR verses like 7176 dogs and their toung or 625 donkey and loaded journey... Just reflect why Allah uses animals... Why dogs put their toungs out or what else donkey know other than carrying loads on a journey... First understand what these animals and why then understand why it was connected with disbelievers and their particular actions... Perhaps science no need to explain if one is familiar with spiders or dogs or donkeys ...
Anyway... Just reflect...
