Islamic Lunisolar Calendar and Crescent Moon Symbol on the Mosque Minaret

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Btw I am a new member in this forum. I want to ask about Islamic calendar. There are some people or maybe many people who already said that Islamic Calendar has been wrong until now. They said the Islamic Calendar supposed to be Lunisolar Calendar not Lunar Calendar that we have been using until now. These are the explanation of those people

What do you think about these explanations?
And the second question I wanna ask, I read that it's not obligatory that mosque should has crescent moon symbol on the minaret but why many mosques have crescent moon symbol on its minaret? I read that someone say it's probably pagan symbol inserted by people. I read that the crescent moon is the symbol of hubal, the pagan god of Quraysh before Islam, and I googled it, and it is very similar.
The interesting part is I search the oldest mosque Al-Haram Mosque, Haram Al-Sharif, and Quba Mosque, all of them have crescent moon on its minaret. And the oldest mosque outside Saudi Arabia also has crescent symbol on its minaret like mosque of the companions (Eritrea) and Al Nejashi mosque (Ethiopia).

There is no such thing as an "Islamic" calendar.
Only thing the Quran stated was that there were 12 months and four were special or however one wants to translate it. The calendar months today are based on Arab tradition in East Arabia. The Quran was speaking to an Arabian people in the 7th century.

Whether the calendar is lunar, solar, lunisolar... it does not matter.
As for the crescent moon, it is not a symbol of Islam. It goes way back to Akkadian who used the crescent symbol to represent their god Syn.
