Traditionalist approach to the five obligatory prayers a day
-
Traditionalists pray the five obligatory daily prayers as follows Fajr with 2 Rakat, Dhuhr with 4 Rakat, Asr with 4 Rakat, Maghrib with 3 Rakat, and Isha with 4 Rakat.
I firmly believe in the traditionalist approach to these obligatory prayers. To those who disagree, I ask How can we be sure that the Quran we possess today remains preserved and uncorrupted? The Quran has been transmitted to us through the companions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the generations that followed. It is impossible that all Muslims from east to west in the 7th or 8th century onwards suddenly decide unanimously to corrupt the way of performing these obligatory prayers same way (all of them agreeing on a same specific rakat and same specific amount of times a day), just like they did not suddenly decided to change the true Quran.

https//corpuscoranicum.de/en/manuscripts/107/page/1r?sura=17&verse=36Greetings.
Do you trust the people who wrote these manuscripts? Do you trust them regarding the preservation of the Qur'an and the preservation of religious practices that are very widespread, such as Salah?

If you ponder the question I posted above and come to the right conclusions, then other weak doubts will disappear easily for you.

It is against history and logic to claim that all Muslims from Morocco to Pakistan decided unanimously to corrupt the way of prayers in any century.
How do you know that the Quran is preserved to this day and all Muslims from east to west in the 7th or 8th century onwards did not decide unanimously to corrupt the Quran?

Peace...
Well.. Erroneous assumptions lovely brother... You say from 8th century onwards.. ... That's not impossible.. Yes all over the world they practice not predominantly changed other than every sects slight differences.. The reason for that is this new religion itself formed in late 7th or 8th century onwards... So from there onwards salah was taken rituals prayer... And it continues ...
But in Quran salah is corelated with many a Messengers and even unknown characters like Luqman even.. But no ritual prayers of this nature is noticeable... Indeed salah is not ritual prayer and there was nothing like that when Mohamed was living and well after his demise.. But it all started from the religion called Islam predominantly constituted by hearsay ie Hadith...
Well I can't convince my guidance to anyone.. Just seek guidance from Allah..
Thank you -
Peace All.
The most important message in Qoran is to free us from all sorts of bondage by Satan and his human constituents/systems.
"Salat "is the commitment from us to keep the connection with our creator the only sovereign and Master. Built in our instinct and on all other creatures - Kullun Kad Alima Salatuhu Wa Tasbihahu. Yes all have specific instincts
" The salat" is a different specific contact time with our creator to help facilitate our task of submission to Him Alone and to keep our freedom intact and fulfil our contract to stay loyal and committed only to GOD s system..i.e to grow our soul-spiritual being, the real us-in readiness for the hereafter.
Now let me explain further this point of "free ourselves from other systems"?
GOD said that those who totally submit to His system will have only GOD as authority and will live as "khalifa" i.e sovereign transfer . Each one of us is his/her own sovereign answerable only to the true and only sovereign- GOD Alone-
For example , other systems have brainwashed us to think that we are citizens of a country and made systems to infringe our sovereignty in all sorts of ways of how we lead our life.
Let me pick a simple example of fraud and deceit from my own country where I am made to do things I have not agreed to - made any contracts to-. I buy a car and I have to register it and it becomes their car where I pay road tax yearly and it can be taken away from me If I do not comply with their rules and conditions.
In simple language I am a slave to their system if I do not free myself, recognise that I have no obligation or contract with them
This is an example , I am not bothered about a car, if they ask me nicely to give it to charity , I will do so but they are forcing their rules and legislations on all sorts of things on their "citizens/slaves.I recognise that whoever made everything we see and use is the only one who has the true laws and sovereignty and He made me and all of us a free being .
What is this to do with "The salat" well we are doing all sorts of rituals to other systems and blindly following their rules and instructions and helping them enslave our brothers and sisters.
Do your "Salat" to your creator and follow His system only. Free yourselves if you wish too.
GOD bless you all.

PeaceSalam Brothers Rauf and GL..
No one will ever know when Luqman lived but Allah talks about him in Quran. ...And Luqman advised his beloved son as under.. I took regular translation..
3117 " O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, that is of the matters determination"
You know the word Salah here is translated as PRAYER.. but big No... Luqman was not advising his son to pray five times a day with number of rakat in Arabic language and to end salah with stating salam to malak in both sides. .
Indeed Luqman was advising his son to establish INTEGRITY /salah... In integrity you definitely do connection to God alone.. This connection to God purifies a soul (zaka)...
Such a beautiful advice from Luqman cuz he was given wisdom by Allah.. And it is mandatory as a believer to establish integrity and bringforth purification.. After all successful are those who purifies their souls..Even how much one pray in Arabic in conventional way you will never get close to God cuz God never commanded it... How can one get close to God talking to him in alien language five times a day... I have prayed good chunk of my life and never ever felt I got close to God...
Thank God He opened my eyes.. I realized what sujud is and what salah is...
In Quran God says He gave Isa WITH Salat and Zakat .. Well that's how it is translated conventionally.. But rituals of salah is nowhere to be seen at least in minority of those people.
But Salat is only a ritual amongst those who call themselves Muslim (Quran plus Hadith )sects.. Cuz this religion was found just few dozens decades after prophets demise and spread beyond borders and accepted in many communities... Satans path spreads very fast for sure.. So Salat in that religion was a ritual in their own assumptions.. So brothers it continues.. Yes.. In every nation they keep practising and they all turn towards Mecca black cube and without it no salah... New religions main icon was Kaaba invented in Mecca.. Mohamed's Quran teaching never spread beyond borders.. Cuz it's all about faith not rituals..
Never famous.. And it died soon with the advent of a new religion but using the same backbone.. But totally astray.. -
Salat is 3 times a day and the number of rak'ahs is free.

It is against Quran to claim that the best community decided to corrupt the way of prayers.
Allah the Most High said You are the best community that has ever been brought forth for mankind you enjoin good and forbid evil, and you believe in Allah.
