Hello brothers and sisters, all interested readers.
To those who are interested, come across, follow/heed Qoran.
Let the following verses sink in first for deep reflection:

-50/45: We are fully aware of everything they utter, while you have no power over them. Therefore, remind with this Qoran, those who reverence My warnings/meeting.

42/21,22: They follow idols who decree for them religious laws never authorized by God. If it were not for the predetermined decision, they would have been judged immediately. Indeed, the transgressors have incurred a painful retribution.
You will see the transgressors worried about everything they had committed; everything will come back and haunt them. As for those who believed and led a righteous life, they will be in the gardens of Paradise. They will receive whatever they wish from their Lord. This is the great blessing.

    17/46, 7/70 39/45,46, 40/12,13,and 40/84,85,86.:
We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Qoran alone,* they run away in aversion.
They said, "Did you come to make us UBUD God alone, and abandon what our parents used to follow/worship...? We challenge you to bring the doom you threaten us with, if you are truthful."
When God ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied.*
Proclaim: "Our God, Initiator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of all secrets and declarations, You are the only One who judges among Your servants regarding their disputes."
This is because when God ALONE was advocated, you disbelieved, but when others were mentioned beside Him, you believed. Therefore, God's judgment has been issued; He is the Most High, the Great.
He is the One who continuously shows you His proofs, and sends down to you from the sky provisions. Only those who totally submit will be able to take heed.
When their messengers went to them with clear proofs, they rejoiced in the knowledge they had inherited, and the very things they ridiculed were the cause of their fall.
    GOD ALONE
Subsequently, when they saw our retribution they said, "Now we believe in God ALONE, and we now disbelieve in the idol worship that we used to practice."
    Too Late
Their belief then could not help them in the least, once they saw our retribution. Such is God's system that has been established to deal with His creatures; the disbelievers are always doomed.

Really there is nothing more to add. Idol worship is following other than GOD s words. Arguing otherwise is futile.
Which Hadiths ,men s words, after GOD and His words will they believe in?

GOD bless you all and save us from idol worship.
    Peace.

Peace, outstanding post my brother 😃
So you don't follow the sunna. Are you implying that the scholars have no authority?

        Peace aminazeez
Qoran answers you here: 6:19,20.21,22,23 and 24.
Say, "Whose testimony is the greatest?" Say, "God's. He is the witness between me and you that this Qoran has been inspired to me, to preach it to you and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods* beside God." Say, "I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I disown your idolatry."
Those to whom we have given the scripture recognize this as they recognize their own children. The ones who lose their souls are those who do not believe.
Who is more evil than one who lies about God, or rejects His revelations? The transgressors never succeed.
On the day when we summon them all, we will ask the idol worshipers, "Where are the idols you set up?"
Their disastrous response will be, "By God our Lord, we never were idol worshipers."*
Note how they lied to themselves, and how the idols they had invented have abandoned them.

GOD is the only authority for His religion-Islam to GOD Alone.
GOD also proclaims the Qoran as the only source of religious guidance. Those who uphold additional sources, such as Hadith & Sunna (lies attributed to the Prophet), are defined as idolaters.
        GOD bless you.
        Peace.

          Peace All.
Just in case you think this guy here-GL-is out of order trying to make you abandon your traditions and Hadiths, it is the other way around. Traditional Islam ,when trying to convert me, has pushed Qoran to me as the priority source. They insisted Islam is the true religion , look at GOD s book can you find any contradictions in it?. It is from GOD check it out they said! .
Therefore it is my duty to pass on Qoran to others after I checked it.
Or are you going to abandon your own book from GOD by following other man made books?
Or do you just use Qoran as bait to catch converters and push them into Hadiths and a hijacked "Islam" of men?
GOD s Islam is surrender/submission to Him and His system by following His message alone, not following other authorities/gods!!
So where are you going to go?
Is GOD Alone not enough for you?
Is GOD not the greatest? You keep saying "Allah Akbar, or is it just "lip service" to GOD?
GOD is saying this to us: 13:33
Is there any equal to the One who controls every single soul? Yet, they set up idols to rival God. Say, "Name them. Are you informing Him of something on earth that He does not know? Or, are you fabricating empty statements?" Indeed, the schemes of those who disbelieve have been adorned in their eyes. They are thus diverted from the right path. Whomever God sends astray can never find a guiding teacher.

How can we even try to argue against GOD s truth? 13:36
Those who received the scripture rejoice in what was revealed to you; some others may reject parts of it. Say, "I am simply enjoined to serve/Ubud God, and never associate any idols with Him. I invite to Him, and to Him is my ultimate destiny."

Divine Authorization is only for His words to be followed: 33:37
We revealed these laws in Arabic, and if you ever acquiesce to their wishes, after this knowledge has come to you, you will have no ally, nor a protector, against God.

Again ,I am saying it is futile to argue against GOD Alone and His system. No partners full stop.
          GOD bless you all.
          Peace.

            Peace Good Logic and all,

Your posts made me reflect on the Quranic expression “with God” — maʿa Allah. For example, 6:19 asks whether people testify that there are other gods with God, and 17:22 says:

“Do not place with God another god, or you will remain condemned and forsaken.”

The same warning appears again in 17:39:

“Do not place with God another god, or you will be cast into Hell, blamed and rejected.”

What strikes me is that the wording is not only about rejecting God and worshipping something completely outside Him. It describes people who may still believe in God, mention God and claim to follow God, but then place another authority, personality or source alongside Him. This seems to be the real danger of shirk: God is not necessarily removed, but someone or something else is given a share in what belongs exclusively to Him.

I also notice the expression “min duni Allah,” meaning those taken besides or apart from God. To me, the two expressions complement one another. Min duni Allah describes turning to authorities besides Him, while maa Allah emphasizes making them partners alongside Him. In either case, the problem is assigning to another entity something that belongs only to God.

This is also how I understand the word “gods” in these verses. It does not have to mean that people literally call someone a creator or bow before a statue. A person, scholar, institution, tradition or book can effectively be treated as a god when it is granted unquestionable religious authority alongside God, especially when its words are followed even where they conflict with God’s revealed words.

Of course, this does not mean that every teacher, scholar, parent or worldly authority becomes a god merely because we listen to them. Human beings can teach, advise and administer affairs. The line is crossed when their authority is treated as final and sacred in matters that belong to God alone, or when obedience to them is placed above obedience to God.

So this is what I understand from your emphasis on God Alone: not simply saying that God exists or that God is the greatest, but refusing to give anyone else a partnership in worship, religious judgment and ultimate authority. A person can repeatedly say “Allah Akbar,” yet still practically elevate inherited personalities or traditions alongside God. Your posts have helped me reflect more deeply on that distinction.

              Brother Fusion.
You are absolutely correct. The religion of GOD belongs to GOD Alone, under His leadership/authority and His message alone is the guide. GOD Alone is our guiding teacher through His scripture/message to us and directly in our life, no intermediate/,other messages from other gods/men s sources... as far as our redemption/religion is concerned.
Otherwise what is the use of GOD s message to us? His words are the utmost and only priority and the only source of the one and only religion of GOD-Islam to GOD-.
GOD knows that human "devils" will hijack the authority and power from GOD and create man s religions that divide us. GOD s test allows choices- GOD Alone or others.
All" others" choices, including a mixture /partnerships of authority /messages of men with GOD s are shirk.
Clear as day in GOD s message : 39:1,2,3.
This is a revelation of the scripture, from God, the Almighty, the Wise.
We sent down to you this scripture, truthfully; you shall serve/Ubud God, devoting your religion to Him alone.

Absolutely, the religion shall be devoted to God alone. Those who set up idols beside Him say, "We idolize them only to bring us closer to God; for they are in a better position!" God will judge them regarding their disputes. God does not guide such liars, disbelievers.
              May the Lord guide us.
              GOD bless you.
              Peace.

                Peace Good Logic and all,

I wanted to share something that happened to me last night simply as a personal experience connected with this discussion.

I had a dream in which I was speaking with some Muslims who were quoting a controversial hadith. One of them asked what I thought about it. I responded calmly that perhaps we sometimes overthink reports written and transmitted by human beings, while neglecting the words of God Himself.

In the dream, I explained that historical reports may contain truth and may preserve useful information, but they are still human records. They could be accurate, partly accurate, misunderstood, or influenced by the political and social circumstances of their time. Therefore, they should never be placed on the same level as God’s revealed words.

I told them that, for guidance, our first and decisive reference should be the Quran. If someone still wishes to study hadith as history, that is their choice, but the Quran should remain the criterion by which everything else is examined not the other way around.

The discussion then moved to the familiar argument that religion cannot be understood or practised without hadith. My response was simply: first make a sincere attempt to study the Quran deeply. Give the Quran the same attention, effort, and seriousness that people often give to hadith collections. Perhaps, after doing so, one may discover that the Quran already provides the guidance necessary for faith, righteousness, reflection, and submission to God.

I also said that religion should not be reduced to a collection of inherited rituals. The purpose is to understand God’s message, reform ourselves, and seek His guidance through His words.

When I woke up, I was surprised by how clearly and calmly this conversation had unfolded in the dream, especially because I had not been consciously thinking about this thread before sleeping. I am not sharing this to claim anything. A dream remains a personal dream. I am only sharing it because it reflected the same question we have been discussing here: when seeking hidayah, where should our hearts and minds return.

For me, the answer remains: return to God and His Book.

May God guide us all and protect us from giving His authority to anyone or anything else.

                Peace.

Edited: I also remember telling them in my understanding placing human religious accounts or authorities alongside God’s words and continuing to follow them as necessary sources of guidance is precisely what shirk means.

                  Peace brother.
My experience is the way I lead my life. In my life I tried many things and ways ,then I came across Qoran
GOD s words /message is now my new experience in my new life. My new confidence is now different from the confidence I used to portrait according to people s perspectives/opinions/fashions ...etc.
I am now trying to involve GOD s message in my life and I have a lot of peace and security in my mind in many things I do.
I understand that my life is two folds , responsibility for myself towards my accountability with GOD and another responsibility for my duties and relationship with others. This is also a second accountability with GOD.
GOD Alone is the priority above both. My relationship with GOD is independent from any social tasks.
You are right brother that GOD Alone is the authority and guide for His religion.
That is an entitlement that is sacred and cannot be broken by any creation between the human and the Creator.
Simply put ,I am entitled to my religion like every one else. GOD Alone religion unites all those who are loyal to GOD Alone and His words/message.
I do not need to argue with or convert to any one s religion if it differs from GOD Alone s message.
I simply call to GOD Alone without expectation .GOD guides those who sincerely seek His message and system.
May the Lord bless you brother.
I agree and feel pleased with all those that listen with their heart and reverence GOD Alone.
                  Peace.

                    Peace all.
I will add another reflection here by quoting verses from Qoran that need pondering about following/taking on others as authority/idolising humans and setting up partners with GOD . Mixing GOD s religion with men s sources and fabrications:

On the day when we summon them all, we will say to those who followed/idolised idols, "We have summoned you, together with your idols." We will have them confront each other, and their idols will say to them, "We had no idea that you idolized us.
"God suffices as a witness between us and you, that we were completely unaware of your idolising/ worshiping us."
That is when each soul will examine everything it had done. They will be returned to God, their rightful Lord and Master, and the idols they had fabricated will disown them.
Say, "Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Who controls all the hearing and the eyesight? Who produces the living from the dead, and the dead from the living? Who is in control of all things?" They would say, "God." Say, "Why then do you not observe the words of GOD/ commandments?"
Such is God, your rightful Lord. What is there after the truth, except falsehood? How could you disregard all this?
This is what your Lord's decision does to those who choose to be wicked: they cannot believe.
                    Reflect on Your Idols
Say, "Can any of your idols initiate creation, then repeat it?" Say, "God initiates the creation, then repeats it. [How could you deviate?]*"
Say, "Does any of your idols guide to the truth?" Say, "God guides to the truth. Is one who guides to the truth more worthy of being followed, or one who does not guide, and needs guidance for himself? What is wrong with your judgment?"
Most of them follow nothing but conjecture, and conjecture is no substitute for the truth. God is fully aware of everything they do.
Only God Can Author the Quran
This Qoran could not possibly be authored by other than God. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from the Lord of the universe.
If they say, "He fabricated it," say, "Then produce one sura like these, and invite whomever you wish, other than God, if you are truthful."
Indeed, they have rejected this without studying and examining it, and before understanding it. Thus did those before them disbelieve. Therefore, note the consequences for the transgressors.
Some of them believe (in this scripture), while others disbelieve in it. Your Lord is fully aware of the evildoers.
May the Lord guide us and save us from idol worship.
                    GOD bless you all.
                    Peace.
