slamu laykum
thanks for that post. I also noticed that many people claim the life of this world is not real.
My background:
Normally its in the venue of morality and politics and deliberating on what do to about an issue. And the argument of sense would want to end suffering, yet those who disbelieve in the reality of material would say "The suffering is not real, the oppressed are the liars."This is especially dramatically contrasted during my time, where many people disbelieve in doing right on the basis of that materiality doesn't seem real to them.
It is clear to me that matter, when operating according to its normal expectable mode (newtonian physics) is a creation that is created in fairness by Allah. What goes up must come down is like an eye for an eye. So that we have the unified field theory of physics and ethics. That's good evidence for matter and for Allah, because with an immersive experience of matter Allah gives us an education in the correctness that leads to righteousness.
Arguments for the flip side:
Because Allah is Most High, and platforms advocating "material" are not most high and platforms advocating "magic" are not most high, I would also argue the other side...
As a Quran-believing Muslim, I would want to say "Allah has given Satan reprieve until the day of judgement." That immediately invalidates earthly life and we may not get a perception of true life until after the judgement day. Matter then is futile with Satan running amok (creating magic in it for example).
Besides that, it is the will of Allah if anyone sees fairness in material, or unfairness in material. So that everyone's position is justified before Allah or we could not believe in our own positions. Matter is then relative, and we can't judge the anti-materialist's view when Allah works with them over that, and with us over this, you see? So Allah has to reveal the truths to who Allah will reveal them to, and which truths Allah will reveal and to who Allah will reveal them is the business of Allah. So it may be we have this truth of matter and others don't, while they may have truths we don't. And Allah determines what truths make it to who and why.
