I am not sure I can rely on the interpretations u have provided. I dont know any Arabic and I have to depend on my first language (Bangla) and second language(English). I am sorry but I do not have the knowledge to verify whether your translations are correct or wrong. So I have to rely on translations accepted by most of the people. The three major translations in English are002.125
YUSUFALI Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).
PICKTHAL And when We made the House (at Makka) a resort for mankind and sanctuary, (saying) Take as your place of worship the place where Abraham stood (to pray). And We imposed a duty upon Abraham and Ishmael, (saying) Purify My house for those who go around and those who meditate therein and those who bow down and prostrate themselves (in worship).
SHAKIR And when We made the House a pilgrimage for men and a (place of) security, and Appoint for yourselves a place of prayer on the standing-place of Ibrahim. And We enjoined Ibrahim and Ismail saying Purify My House for those who visit (it) and those who abide (in it) for devotion and those who bow down (and) those who prostrate themselves.As you might know during pilgrimage people pray in "makam e Ibrahim".

I am trying to know what this "standing place" means? I have come to know that there is this "stone" and it is said to have the foot-prints(they say it's not visible now!) of Ibrahim. That stone is somehow attached to Kaaba and people in pilgrimage say prayer having that in front of them. I have never done any pilgrimage and do not know what actually is being done at that "maqam e Ibrahim". If anyone happened to have done pilgrimage, could he tell me what is actually and in what manner things are done at "maqam e Ibrahim"? Please enlighten me.

Brother Asif, remember that praying in front of stones is not the way of Muslims but Hindus do so.
Another thing, as per 2125 when Allah asked you hold the place of Ibrahim for your Salaat. That means you should stand at the same place where Ibrahim stood. Am I right?
How will you take that place now when it is bounded by a golden grill?
May Allah open our hearts to understand the truth.

The muslims that are smart use their reason and intuition and actually find a better meaning to the verse and one that actually fits.
The 'standing place' could easily mean status or something else. The meaning of the Quran has been tampered with to support the Saudi tourist industry, everybody cannot take a standing place plus that meaning is ridiculous and I have come across better ones.
God tells the believers that the ones who believe hear all the meanings and choose the best.

Remember brother Allah is the knower of everything. He cannot ask you to do anything that is not possible. This clearly means that our understanding of the verse is wrong.
Take another look at it as
"....wattakhizoo MINm-maqaami Ibraheema muthalla...." 2125
MIN could mean From or At
Try using those meanings. InshaAllah, Allah may guide us.

And We have appointed to Ibrahim the position of the system "Do not set up anything with Me", and purify My system for those who will partake, and those who will enforce, and those who humbly submit."

Hello to everyone. I really appreciate all your efforts and research. It helps me so much and I prefer seeing bros and sis talking and sharing better than fighting.
I think that always has been a place. Everything happens in a place and there must be one place where Ibrahim first built an altar for God. Ignore this is quite naive as ignoring that there is a mountain on this earth where Moses received the Torah. It's not a tale, that mountain exists even if we don't know where it is.
So we must discover where is maqam Ibrahim. Personally, I think it is on Mount Gerizim. If you open your Bible, you will see that the first place where Abraham built an altar was there,in Shechem, and after him, his sons and grandson Jacob went there to pray.
The Samaritan Torah says that this is the only one place to sacrifice and do the pilgrimages quoted in Qur'an.Anyway, all rituals have a meaning because people feels connected with each other. But that's not the essential. The main point is believe in God and be good. If you have the chance to go on pilgrimage it will be a great experience.
I would like to know your reasons why to refuse Mount Gerizim as the House and Masjid al Haram.
My reasons to defend MG are that
1- Shechem first appears in the Tanakh in Genesis 126-8, which records how Abraham reached the "great tree of Moreh" at Shechem and offered sacrifice nearby. Later Joseph's bones were brought out of Egypt and reburied at Shechem.
2- We next see Shechem during the time of Abraham?s grandson, Jacob (Gen. 34). ?erected an altar there and called it El Elohe Israel? (Gen. 3320).
3- Shechem was appointed as a city of refuge after the Conquest of Canaan by the Israelites (Josh. 207). It was also the place where Joshua renewed the covenant with the tribes of Israel, and where they pledged to ?serve the LORD? (Josh. 2421). We are told that Joshua set up a large stone (what archaeologists call a masseba) and,
?set it up there under the oak that was by the sanctuary of the LORD? (Josh. 2426).
