Isnt this supposed to be in 2 different verses?

I got this from the free-minds online Quran...
2200 When you have completed your rites, then remember God as you remember your fathers or even greater. From among the people are those who Say "Our Lord, give us from this world!", but in the Hereafter he has no part. And some of them Say "Our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter, and spare us from the retribution of the Fire."Isn't it supposed to be this way?

peace brother Joe.
I'm not sure. It does not really matter in my opinion since verse numbers are just a convenient tool for keeping in the memory the location of specific passages.
Yeah I agree with you..I'm just worried that ppl who use the online translation as a reference to their debate or something will refer to the wrong ayah and make people to get confused..
peace.

The Message uses the 'Warsh' count of the verses with the addition of the Basmalla into the count (this is mentioned in the preface to the translation).
The verses you have quoted as being split are according to 'Hafs'.

Peace,
I am wondering where is the "Most" taken from in the translation of "The Most Merciful"? Why cant it just be "The Merciful"?
There is nothing to stop it from simply being 'The Merciful' (Al-Raheem)...
The 'most' is just adding to the emphasis which comes from the 'Al'.
Either way is correct.

Peace,
Peace be upon you brother Layth,
What is "Basmalla"? Please explain, I dont understand what is it.
The 'Basmalla' is the statement that crowns nearly every chapter of the Scripture (In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Merciful).
Ok.. I got it... We call it "Bismillah" instead of "Basmalla" there the confusion was.
Thanks anyway.

peace Layth,
Thanks for the reply. Coincidentally, today I cam across 1264, which proves that 'Al-Raheem' means 'The Merciful' beyond a shadow of a doubt, and that it is 'arham' that means 'most merciful' (which makes sense because it is the superlative). I always thought that was the case.
As a result, it should be changed in the QT, unless it can be disproven.
Today, I carried out a small review of my other suggestions, and it seems you have not taken into consideration most of them, with no reasons given. Why is that?
