Who witnessed the scorching full-moon/shahr ramadan?

Peace everyone,
Yesterday, my family and I witnessed the scorching full-moon that follows the summer solstice. I even took a picture of it and I emailed it to brother Layth so he can post it on Free-minds. So I am abstaining for 10 days starting today.
Did someone else witness it?

I missed the first day - I was a day behind in my head, forgot it. (
But fasting now.no worries, the first day of summer solstice was yesterday but the full moon didn't occur until last night or early this morning, as the witnessing of the full moon is the sign to begin abstinence (2185) it actually began today
heres a quote from ayman that explains it better
The burning full-moon ("shahr ramadan") will occur this year on the night of June 21-22 (1214AM EST on June 22). Thus, the abstinence will start on Wednesday June 22 and will last for a completed count of a few days ("ayam ma3doodat") as per 2185. The completion of a count is 10 as per 2196 and 7142.
my head is starting to hurt a little from the abstinence, i need to take a rest soon

so whomever WITNESSES the full moon, let him abstain it.

hmmm thats an interesting point i never thought about, do we have to directly witness the full moon to abstain it? wouldn't make much sense

I think that speaks to the materialist influence many of us are under, we should be aware of EVERY full moon as it marks TIME.
I witnessed it without even intending to D It just came across my vision.
