I believe that we must have to use the same words "Salaamun 'Alaikum" as mentioned in the verse above.
If not, then can we use the same "Peace" even if we see one person who believes or two or more than that?
I am not sure I understand the question. The God speaks of "those" who come to us, which I assume is Plural, we should say "Peace be upon you" (plural). By deduction, we understand that if it is only one person, we use singular. In English, it will be the same anyway.

All languages are human inventions. The Divine "message" is written down in these crude, inadequate human languages as oppose to being written down in a Divine Language.
If there is a such things as a Divine Language then I would say it is the Language of Silence and the words would be Images and Symbols -)

Yes, you can say "Namastay", "Hetep", "Shalom", or any word form any language that translates to "salaam".
Even when you say "salaam", what are you thinking in your head? All information is still translated in your mind.

Yes, you can say "Namastay", "Hetep", "Shalom", or any word form any language that translates to "salaam".
Even when you say "salaam", what are you thinking in your head? All information is still translated in your mind.
Still not convinced brother. If you or anyone can quote any verse from Al-Quraan that will be easy to understand it.
We are still not on the hard, rocky, concrete grounds.

I guess lets start this way, the God has stated in many places for us to "SAY" certain things. Why do you take ONE WORD and restrict it to Arabic? Peace is a state of mind. Letters are symbols that convey subjective ideas to the mind of man. Each method of symbolism (languages) conveys the same subjective idea with different symbols, which is to say that this idea is the VERY SAME at the top of the pyramid , if you will, while seperate at the lower levels.
ONE manifest through many. Beautiful how the God explains itself!
But the first step is to figure out why you only state that one Arabic word must remain arabic while the others don't. This should get the juices flowing for you.

Hmmmmmmm........ "Say" things must have to say exactly same, I believe. But about the language.. .No. It does not have to.
OK ok... as I quoted above Salaamun, Salaaman, etc.. for one or more people are different. Can we translate all of them just to Peace?
