    Greetings Tony,

I would like to comment on your discovery?

thought Jesus was just a prophet and a messenger. But he was also a word from God and a spirit from God. Is he more than human?

    1. O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not "Three" - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.

    2. Their messengers said to them "True, we are human like yourselves...

Is Jesus a spirit, and at the same time, a human being?

You have just discovered, for yourself, another slice of Biblical material that found its way into the Koran.

4.171 demonstrates to us the concept of the Biblical Trinity, in which the son is called the WORD and the SPIRIT.

Obviously, Jesus is more than just a prophet and a messenger.

Jesus is God in the flesh.

Just as stated in the Holy Bible?..and now, as you can see for yourself?.in the Koran as well?

    Take care?

"Word" and "Spirit" does not mean god. Don't interpret the Quran as you would the loop-holed bible.

    Peace

Isn?t it most interesting that the god of the Koran, which is supposed to be ?one? and only ?one??consists of a ?spirit? and also a ?word??.which have been imputed into Jesus the son and the Messiah?

All nice and neat in one ayah?

      Sure sounds familiar?does it not?.?

      Thanks?

        PEACE, APPLE,

Jesus is God in the flesh.

Apple, I see you are still hard at work trying to put out Allah's Light with your mouth, and desperatlely trying to prove wrong that which cannot be proved wrong...Al-Islam, The Deen of Allah.

        Anyway

Correct me if I'm wrong but, isn't Jesus being fully God and fully man the core tenet of Christianity? 1Thess.521, demands that the upholders of your scriptures...prove all things. Given that the core tenet of Christianity posits Jesus being fully God and fully human , hence, a "dual nature" nature, would you produce the verse where I can find the word "God-man? Mind you now, if you can find this word , it must agree with the Greek or Latin scripture, where the word "theoanthropos" is clearly/explicitly written there.

I demand to see the Greek or Latin verse, where the fundamental tenet of Christianity, that being, Jesus had/has... "dual nature" nature, or, in a word, theoanthropos. You see, it my understanding that, the bible mentions three natures, all of which, can be found in the Greek

        1. theos...God Almighty.

        2. pneumatikos...angels/Holy Ghost.

        3. anthropos...fully human.

Now, can you produce the verse where I can find

        1. theoanthropos...fully God and fully human.

If not, then you violate 1Thess. 521...prove all things...

If you cannot prove all things, at least in regard to your "religion", well, 1Thess. 521, is just meaningless.

If you can prove item #4, by way of your Greek scriptures , then you cannot prove the authenticity/legitimacy of your belief sytem. Without proof, all you have is conjecture...and that is the bottomline, Pie.

Can you provide the Scriptural Greek term for dual nature nature...YES or NO?

Also, Paul, agrees with me as well, to wit

1Timothy 25 For there is one God , and one mediator between God and men , the man Christ Jesus.

The words in the brackets are the words as they appear in the Greek, so, where in the Greek, then...can I find the nature...theoanthropos? Clearly, Paul, only defines him as fully human--anthropos.

Bottomline, you cannot, via your scriptures, produce the verification for your belief system. Without concrete verifiable terms to prove your "theological descriptions", you have nothing but CONJECTURE to follow. Anyone can coin anything and say it is from God , however, the test for any assertion related to God, lies in proving, via His Scriptures, what one is ascribing to Him.

Thus, bottomline, you cannot prove that God is a triune entity nor can you prove that Jesus had a dual nature nature, because God does not say these things about Himself or His Messenger, Jesus. Hence, you cannot prove the validity of your belief system. Prove All Things...1Thess.521.

APPLE PIE ?theoanthropos? and ?Trinity? are both epithets. They are words used to describe the nature of a thing. You won?t find either word in the Holy Bible.

When you freely admitted the above that, the two indispensible tenets of your belief system where made up/coined after the scriptures were witten, and neither can found explicitly mentioned in the your scipture, and that is what you hold sacrosanct and follow, you proved the following verses as it pertains to your your belief system

Matt.159 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Col.222 Which all are to perish with the using after the commandments and doctrines of men?

It is apparent that you belief system is founded on both God's Scriptures and the doctrines of men, hence, it is an adulterated/contaminated belief system and not fit for mankind's guidance.

How, then, are you going to, with a straight face, ask any rational human being to believe in your belief system which you yourself, via your own book, cannot concretely prove, as well as, it's being adulterated? Listen man, you need to go somewhere and review your own ignorance/conjectures, because you are really done here.

        Looking forward to your reply.

What's is or what is not in Al-Quran, will not supply you with the term to prove the "dual nature" nature of Jesus. Rather than ask what is in Al-Quran, you would be better served finding theoanthropos in your bible. In that way, you can prove the the core belief of your belief system. However, without it, well, you are just pretending to have something from God.

Get busy...time is running out. wink

If you want us to accept your faith and become Christians, well, you must first prove the central belief of your doctrine...the dual nature nature of Jesus. Convince us of the legitimacy of your faith and prove all things, by showing us in the Greek, from where you derive your translations, where we can find the name for a dual nature "nature", thanks.

So, once again, what is or what is not in Al-Quran, will not supply you with the term to prove the "dual nature" nature of Jesus. Rather than ask what is in Al-Quran, you would be better served finding theoanthropos in your bible. In that way, you can prove the the core belief of your belief system. Greetings PRIEST_BOKMEI,

                                        Let?s review your ignorance..

First, show us where we can find the term for a "dual nature nature" and "trinity" in your own Greek scriptures.

I have already held up my part of the bargain, by answering your pathetic web-plagiarized ?argument? on another thread.

?theoanthropos? and ?Trinity? are both epithets.

They are words used to describe the nature of a thing.

You won?t find either word in the Holy Bible, nor the Koran.

                                        Period.

Locating post-epithets in scripture will not occur; as they were coined after the scriptures were written; to accurately relate the whole body of scripture that relates to the epithet.

As such, the whole of Biblical scripture tells us that Jesus is God in the flesh.

Moreover, the Creator God of the Holy Bible reveals Himself as a triune entity.

Perhaps you need to understand why the authors of the Koran also copied this into your book of faith?instead of playing Mickey Mouse with your religion?.

                                        Thanks?

From my understanding, we are all words and spirits from God. All God has to say is 'Be' and it is. That is all it takes to create is us and in the womb God blows his spirit into us. I remember reading something very similar to that in the Quran.
