PLEASE HELP ME TO RAIS FUND TO SAVE A LIFE

Dear all FM members,
Today I am quite Sad to inform you all that a student named "Hridoy" in Bangladesh is suffering from deadly Leukemia. It?s still in the primary stage which has chance to be cured. He needs to be taken to bangkok as soon as possible to transplant the bone marrow.
As we all know that it is a very expensive treatment and it is impossible for his family to bare the cost. Its so ironic that how human lives are so helpless without money and we are loosing our friends, family members just because some might not have enough money to pay for their treatment. This is where we have failed to preserve our precious gift from God, which is LIFE.
Let us try to overcome such obstacles of our society and create a bigger family who will take care of each other.
I would urge to FM organizing body and also our members to create a fund as soon as possible to save a precious life. Please try to contribute with whatever amount you can. To gather we can create a difference.

If you want to create an account over there, or use one you already have please post details. It seems we need to look into this matter urgently, so organizing a fund or commitee, etc. would probably be a better idea for long term. (I thought one already existed? ? )
Or maybe whoever is willing to donate can contact you for further info?... like Name/Address/Phone... for western union transfer or something like that? Just shooting some ideas, you can choose whatever's comfortable or easier to use.

I am really happy that you have come forward... I remember last time when you also helped me to rais fund for flood victims.
I think, Its better if we can set up an account in USA or like your account and gather all donations there and than send the total amount to tha boys account. Cause if everyone sends to me than I will have to send from here to bangladesh. And in this way..a big amount will go on bank charges and also time.
The total amount is needed to transplant the bone marrow in Bangladesh Taka 5,000,000.00 BDT = 64,417.93 EUR = 77,762.92 USD
1 EUR = 76.4131 Bangladesh Taka
1 USD = 63.9950 Bangladesh Taka
If 45000 people gives 100 TK each than its possible to gather such amount..
So, 1 USD or 1 EUR can create a big difference. Thats why I am trying to figure out away to cut the fees of banks.
can you pls help me on this to have an idea so that FM members can also donate without banking hassel or delay...
We need to get the money as soon as possible..

With regards to the Free-Minds account, there used to be one opened in Australai by Neil Maybanks, but he had to close it after a while because the bank was charging too much in fees to simply keep the account open (it was a Citibank account and they were charging a monthly fee if the balance was below $1,000).
The site Shamsul shared with us accepts donations via Paypal, so perhaps there is no need for any seperate account to be opened.
As an idea, if we want to do something as 'Free-Minds', then perhaps it can be a larger project which would help a greater number of people for the same amount of money.
For example, I know that projects of food or medicine aid to Iraq or Africa can save hundreds fo people for the equivalent.

I agree with what Layth is presenting here, in regard to the free-minds account. Perhaps it's something we could start working on seriously. Even if it's just a few of us for now.
On the other hand, I hadn't checked the site, if there is a paypal option, that would work too.

The only problem with this deal and me, is the monitoring that goes on with money transfers etc. US right now, and I believe UK as well are very stringent on this issue. They are arresting people connecting them to "alqaeda" or funding terrorists etc. All they need is an excuse, they can create the "evidence" against you very easily. I think you get the picture.Again... now is a good time to get the ball rolling on the "free-minds account".

Do you really think you could able to collect the donations of such a HUGE amount? Please do not take me that I am misguiding the donators. But I have a suggestion that I wanted to forward.
