We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches THE AGE OF FULL STRENGTH AND ATTAINS FORTY YEARS, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."

And (remember) when we saved you from people (of) Pharaoh who afflicted you worst torment killing your sons and letting live your women and in that a trial from your lord great.

And we appointed for Moses thirty decadent (years) and we completed them with ten thus was completed set term (of) his Lord (of) forty decadent (years) and said Moses to his brother Aaron you be my successor in my rectification and do right and do not follow way (of) the mischief-makers.

And when came Moses at our appointment and spoke to him his lord he said O my lord show me I may look upon you He said by no means see Me you and but look at the formation/crowd/multitude if it remained firm in its place then you might see me and when unveiled his lord to the formation/crowd/multitude he made it as crushed and fell Moses stunned and when he overcame/surpassed he said glory be to you I return to you and I am first of the believers.

He said O Moses I have chosen you above people by my messages and by My speaking so hold what I have given you and be of the grateful.

ORIGINAL.

Wa-ith anjaynakum min alifirAAawna yasoomoonakum soo-a alAAathabi yuqattiloona abnaakumwayastahyoona nisaakum wafee thalikum balaonmin rabbikum AAatheemun

And remember We rescued you from Pharaoh's people, who afflicted you with the worst of penalties, who slew your male children and saved alive your females in that was a momentous trial from your Lord.

WawaAAadna moosa thalatheenalaylatan waatmamnaha biAAashrin fatamma meeqaturabbihi arbaAAeena laylatan waqala moosa li-akheehiharoona okhlufnee fee qawmee waaslih walatattabiAA sabeela almufsideena

We appointed for Moses thirty nights, and completed (the period) with ten (more) thus was completed the term (of communion) with his Lord, forty nights. And Moses had charged his brother Aaron (before he went up) "Act for me amongst my people Do right, and follow not the way of those who do mischief."

Walamma jaa moosalimeeqatina wakallamahu rabbuhu qala rabbiarinee anthur ilayka qala lan taraneewalakini onthur ila aljabali fa-iniistaqarra makanahu fasawfa taranee falammatajalla rabbuhu liljabali jaAAalahu dakkan wakharra moosasaAAiqan falamma afaqa qala subhanakatubtu ilayka waana awwalu almu/mineena

When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said "O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon thee." Allah said "By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said "Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe."

Qala ya moosa innee istafaytukaAAala alnnasi birisalateewabikalamee fakhuth ma ataytuka wakunmina alshshakireena

(Allah) said "O Moses! I have chosen thee above (other) men, by the mission I (have given thee) and the words I (have spoken to thee) take then the (revelation) which I give thee, and be of those who give thanks."

Wakatabna lahu fee al-alwahimin kulli shay-in mawAAithatan watafseelanlikulli shay-in fakhuthha biquwwatin wa/mur qawmakaya/khuthoo bi-ahsaniha saoreekum daraalfasiqeena

And We ordained laws for him in the tablets in all matters, both commanding and explaining all things, (and said) "Take and hold these with firmness, and enjoin thy people to hold fast by the best in the precepts soon shall I show you the homes of the wicked,- (How they lie desolate)."

Once a bloke from punjab working for a mirpur (both pakistanis) lady complained , "O" my Tuui is hurting , and the lady very shy - was dumb founded, and the man recognising this asked another chap whats up with her?

The other chap told him in their mirpur lingo "Tuu" is your "A--" ,but in your lingo Tuui is you upper back. .

Simerlarly certain definitions have changed over time - i believe.

So it just depends on whose reading what .

Qala innee oreedu an onkihakaihda ibnatayya hatayni AAala anta/juranee thamaniya hijajin fa-in atmamta AAashranfamin AAindika wama oreedu an ashuqqa AAalayka satajiduneein shaa Allahu mina alssaliheena
