Give Thanks!

Salaam Wakas,
I write exactly what I mean, there are no hidden implications.
You did not read anywhere where I said that no one here does anything to uplift HUmanity. My statement was very clear, dealt specifically with the constant debates, criticisms, and judgements. You are free to interpret it however you choose... and to take offense if you so choose. If an individuals efforts are personal then there is no need to be public about what you believe to be true or not true.
I was responding and giving thanks to Layth for his post and the point within it. If you are not in agreement that is beautiful! If you are... that's beautiful too.
It is amazing how people can take offense at something that they do not believe applies to them!

Salaam again Olusanya
Hmmm, yes, I can only agree on those thoughts.
Most of us do have pretty good idea of what `our Islam? is when chatting in cyberspace with anonymous equivalents.
But are we really ready and willing to confront the real and suffering causing manifestations of kufr in this world?
I pray that we all are!It sounds wonderful that everyone who knows you loves Islam because of your interaction. If this is true - and I have no reason to doubt it - than you are a wonderful example for all of us!
I am not sure if I already reached that goal but, again, it is my prayer that we all may.Best wishes,
leyla

Peace,
I would just like to give thanks to Layth for his "See the Forest from the Trees" post.
Thanks should be given to the Lion-dude indeed. Man I tells ya, he has done wonders for the lives of many people. Heck, I bet that runs into the thousands blud.....
Y'know the grey lion, also known to you lot as Layth, has written many significant articles. Even if y'all don't agree with it, he provokes the thought enough with his insight....that is itself a giant step for humankind in my book. Hell yeah, he is the mac-daddy, word.
Lions represent courage and nobility, and tearing up deers + gazelles on wildlife shows, innit. The first two apply to the Big L - he has the courage to challenge the mainstream with this site, and the nobility to allow almost anyone on it with their views...
So let us all take just a minute from our lives and salute the grey-lion fella, and say 'thank you bro' cos if anyone deserves it, boy o boy I tells ya, its this fella.
Over and out.
lol -
Top man Z-dude. Nice salute smiley too, innit.

Peace Olusanya,
We will be judged according to our "DEEDS", not our "DEBATES"!
But they are not mutually exclusive, they can be parallel, debating here, a forum -- what another thing can be done in a forum?, and deeds here and offline.
Talking/discusing are actions too, and have consequences, why wouldn't they be part of the judgement? /Though discussing the notion of judgement would belong to another thread./
