DOes the Quran give us where the Qibla is. THe direction for Salat.

YUSUFALI We see the turning of thy face (for guidance) to the heavens now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that THAT IS THE TRUTH FROM THEIR LORD. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.002.145
YUSUFALI Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow Thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after THE KNOWLEDGE HATH REACHED THEE, Wert to follow their (vain) desires,-then wert thou Indeed (clearly) in the wrong.002.146

4 Compass, again to find the direction of mecca. If you don?t have one you are lost.
5 If he said QIbla the game is up? Same as leaving words like Ayat & Allah as it is and translating Hadith as tales etc.Is it that the qibla as most believe is not a physical direction to mecca while Qibla does not have anything to do with Salat.

Yes. The assumption that goal/"qibla" has anything to do with "salat" is just "an assumption".
2& 3 I think I get what you are saying. But we have only guessed and have been taught from hadith.
I think that 2 & 3 are related. The answer to 3 is in 2145. They don't follow the goal/"qibla" because they follow instead their desires. Of course "desires" is not a physical direction. As for 2, the so-called sacred Mosque is not the truth from our Lord, it is a building built by the Saudis. We can see, that the opposite of "desires" is "al-masjid al-haram", which we are clearly told in no uncertain terms that it is the truth from our Lord.

But there is no requirement for a compass. The people of the book know the truth from our Lord because they know the book. All we need is the book to know the truth from our Lord/'al-masjid al-haram".

Exactly. Translating it as "goal" in the other places would expose the Hadith-based falsehood and clearly show that it cannot be a physical goal

Why did he do that? Because otherwise it is clear that "al-masjid al-haram" is none other than "the truth from our Lord".

At Salat morning and evening are there restrictions in direction?Yes, our goal/"qibla" is non-physical. It is in fact a physical impossibility to face any physical place wherever we are. In 2144 the prophet was not pleased with the turning of his face in the heavens. This is the same situation anyone trying to face a building below the horizon would be in. They are facing random regions in outer space. In addition, because the earth is turning, his direction is also turning.
In summary, "al-masjid al-haram" is the truth from our Lord. Wherever we are, whether in our homes or whatever community we live in, our goal should be to implement the truth from our Lord.
If foolish people ask you what made you turn away from a physical goal, the answer is in 2142 "To The God is the east and the west, He guides whom He wills to a straight path". The straigh path of course is the non-physical path you are on when you follow your goal to implement the truth from our Lord.
