Down the post today came a leaflet with on a backdrop of a beautiful rose titled "In Love with the Beloved" I thought it was about God but got a total shock as it turns out there is a whole event about remembering "Allah's finest creation (Sallahu-alaihi-wassalam)" I think the whole thing is quite distasteful (check http//www.al-salik.com ) esp the way they have chosen Valentine's Day to host the event. And not to mention Mecca Cola sponosoring the whole thing! It's all very bizaare....
